Social Marking Becomes "Blog MarkingSubmitted by seotips8 Thu, 19 Mar 2009
The results of the social bookmarking experiment I have been carrying out are materialising. There have been some surprising results and some results that have restored my faith in the browsing public. I have been pondering whether or not to release the results as I do not want the spammers to tarnish something that is still relatively pure. But as you can see I finally decided to go ahead and publish.
Once you have bookmarked them, you can view them, sort them by category/keyword as well as see links from others that have been categorized like yours. This idea is very unique. Social bookmarking has been very popular and “blog marking” will be just as popular. Just think of the amount of people that will want their blog to be the most popular blog on any blog marking website. If you are looking for a great blog to read in the morning then you will love the chance to find out the most popular blog. The great thing about social bookmarking sites is the only sites you will find there are sites that other people have looked at and decided were worth saving for future reference. Real people have decided to save (bookmark) the sites, not robots. Real people also monitor the sites so if trash does get added, it is soon deleted. But, there's even more to social bookmarking then easy access. You can also share this information with others. Your friends, family, co-workers, subscribers, whoever, can easily see what you've been uncovering on the web and decide, at that point, if it's something so useful and/or interesting that they, too, would like to access it easily through their own social bookmarking account. Whether you’ve just created your news feed or you have been RSS-ing for years, you can create a free account at their site. Their service will also: • translate your feed from Atom to RSS or vice versa, • make a browser-friendly page that explains what web feeds are to the new user, • allow you to splice any link into your feed using some of the more popular social bookmarking services. Your benefits of using Wikipedia as an online marketing strategy are various. To begin with, your submitted content about your product or company may be very short and simple to begin with. As your content ages and more members view and contribute to your content with edit revisions, your content submission will grow and grow. For example, your submission may start out as a forty word brief that may turn into a multi-page article. Viral Marketing seems to be an integral part of making a lot of money online. It could be as simple as trading a small banner or button for a directory listing (Income: $8000 a month), or offering webmasters a cut of your earnings to get them to your website to view your content and then buy (Income: $4000 a month). In fact, doesn’t that second business model describe Chitika, the ill-fated PPC network?
