With the planned changes by search engines next year this has never been more important. You will need to make sure your website has content that people will want to read. Also continually create new engaging original content for your website. This in turn will help in your link building efforts as people will naturally link to your website if your content is good.

Meta Data

Make sure your Mata tags on each page of your website are unique. Your title should give a brief description to what your webpage is about. Your description tag should give a more detailed description that includes a call to action to entice people to click on your listing. Make sure these descriptions are relevant to the actual content of the webpage.

Site Architecture

Make sure your website is linked correctly internally. Don’t link from every page on your website from every page. Your homepage should have links to the most important pages and then your internal pages should link to other interesting pages. You should also place links in the internal pages linking back to your main pages as this will help strengthen them further. The search engines will see that you consider that the pages that you are linking too internally more are your more important pages.
