So, you're just wasting your time.

Next, I see this mistake very often. People will write articles that are more like small reports. The point of the article is not to give away the entire farm. The point is to simply educate the reader on what you promised in the title. Then, you want the reader to click through to your website to get more information.

Finally, and this is the biggest mistake I see people making, is they talk about themselves in the resource box. It is essential that you understand that people do not care about you. I'm not saying that to be mean, because they do not care about me either. Most people are always tuned in to their favorite station WIIFM, what's in it for me.

So, if you use the resource box to talk about yourself you are going to lose that potential visitor. It is essential that you give value in your resource box so that the reader will want to click through to your website.
