Give away an Ebook

Writing a free ebook, a guide or giving away a digital download with your product is a great way to sell more products.
A giveaway is a marketing tool that you can use to promote your website or product, build up a list and build a relationship with your customers. Used effectively, these free internet marketing tools will increase the traffic to your website and your earnings.
The most effective way of making money on the internet or in any traditional business is by having loyal customers. A loyal customer will buy products from you again and again because they trust your recommendations and they feel that they know and can rely on you. From a sales point of view it is much better for you to have a smaller number of loyal customers then a large number of "one off" customers.
One way of developing a loyal customer is by giving value to your product or service. You should always be able to add some value to whatever you are promoting either online or offline. Value is being able to give that something extra, something that may be unexpected by your visitor but very much appreciated. Value should also improve the product or service that you are promoting.
It is not expensive to add value. One of the easiest and cheapest ways of doing this is providing your customers with something that they want and that compliments your product and service. If for example, you are selling hardware products you could provide your customers with a quick ebook of tips to fix things around the home. As long as it is an "extra" and has "value" to your customer they will appreciate it.
Writing an ebook, short article, newsletter or guide may be difficult for some people. The good news is that these easy to give away products can be created quickly and inexpensively. There are a number of ways that you could add these products to your promotional tools,for example; you can hire a writer to create some articles for you. If you search article writers on the internet you will find that this can be done for less than the price of a coffee.
Alternatively, there is a large range of fantastic ebooks on the internet on any topic imaginable. A lot of ebooks have resell rights which means that you can resell the ebook or use give it to give away in your promotions. It is easy to buy one of the many ebooks on the market and you do not even have to write a thing. This means that your promotion can be up and running in a matter of minutes rather than days or weeks.
Once you have found an ebook that you believe is suitable make sure you read all the fine print that the seller has made available. You need to check carefully the terms of sale particularly that you have the rights to alter, amend or give away the ebook. If you do have these rights, which are usually called resale rights, you might like to personalise the book a little more by adding your name, if allowed, some of your thoughts and perhaps changing the cover to show your branding.

You will find that giving away an ebook that you have resale rights to will develop loyalty and keep your customers coming back to spend time on your website.
