In the old westerns there were only 2 forces, the bad guys and the good guys.
The bad guys allways tried to get rich fast by robbing a train, stealling the bank's safe or mog mail carriage. AND THEY ALLWAYS WEAR BLACK HATS!
The good guys, on the other hand, tried to save the day, shooting the black hats, AND THEY ALLWAYS WEAR WHITE HATS!

Well, on the web there is no good and evil, there is only good SEO methods and better SEO methods.
So, why like this (as they say in india)?

Well, the M.G met alot of white hat SEO and black hat SEO fellows, and we promise, they all good guys & girls, however,some of them generate traffic and page ranks by unorthodox methods, such as search engine spamming. We tried both ways, we must say, and we donnot take a side, both methods are ligit.

The black hats have thrie own rules, kinda like hackers, but they do not hurt nobody, they just find the corners, the loopholes and manipulate it for their use.

The black hats has several web sites, link http://seoblackhat.com/ and others, while the white hats are all the web sites such as this, using known methods to generate traffic and gain the SEO in the old fasion way.

It will be a lie to say, you can gain the same results both ways, the black hat's way is faster, and sometime harder, for they need to build their own scripts and learn the loopholes .

Being a black hat is a risk, you can spam your way to the top until someone (web site) black lists you.
H. Izenberg, a great affiliate we know, said once, in a tutorial he wrote : "Black hat can earn bunch of money for a limited short period, while white hat can enjoy a nice income for a long time".
Well, we must agree.
Being a black hat is dangerous, despite the fast income, a black hat can be banned from search engines, spammed blogs, spammed potential users, and spammed forums, While white hat web site builds its income slowly, each dime is a sure income, and the search engine will not ban it.
