Ways to Present Your MOMS Club Website

Submitted by shua

If you're a stay-at-home mom, you might have heard of MOMS Clubs all over America. It is a very good organization perfect for mothers who choose to stay at home. Staying at home is entirely fulfilling but the job sometimes lead to too much pressure or the exact opposite, boredom. MOMS Club has been created for moms so that they can have an outlet for their talents and emotions. The club takes mothering into a whole new light. It is a perfect support group for mothers with the same concerns and interests to stay and work together.

This morale-boosting group is still unknown to some mothers who need this break. So for most MOMS clubs nationwide, members have found ways to spread the news about the noble group. MOMS Clubs everywhere has taken advantage of technology by creating a website for their chapter. The site is a venue where volunteer moms can talk about past and upcoming activities of MOMS Club in their area. It is also a venue where they can write articles that each mother can benefit from.

The following are things to remember when presenting your chapter website. There are guidelines that you have to know before you start developing your chapter website. Have the content proofread and edited before being posted. Make sure that the content is wholesome for both moms and kids. To start, here are ways to present your site:

1. Take advantage of moms who have creative computer talents. Publicity ads will depend on how creative you are. Make it as motherly as possible but attractive and unique enough for all viewers.

2. Study website design so you would know how to present your site effectively.

3. Marketing your website will need personal branding. Your MOM Club should, more or less, look like a MOMS Club site but the maker should not hamper her creative abilities. The site should have an identity of its own that is easy for viewers to remember.

4. Advertise the opening of your site. Tell friends and family about it. Have a mailing list of possible members in your area so that you can email them about your site and the actual club. One good rule is to mail your letter 5-6 times in a year in regular intervals. It would be enough to rouse the interest of the recipient but not often enough to bug them.

5. Make the content more personal. Lessen the tone of salesmanship or corporate-type of lingo. The content should reach the hearts of mothers.

6. Make your messages brief and concise. No need to make them too wordy. Remember, these are moms who don't have the luxury of sitting in front of a computer all day.

7. Include a newsletter that will talk about different issues and happenings in the chapter.

8. Make sure you have completed presenting all contact information. The directions you give for would-be members are very clear. Make a clear invitation with words like "Hope you will join us" or "We will be waiting for you."

9. Include a forum section where mothers online can interact with other moms without having to leave the comforts of your home. There will be more focus on different issues.

There are still some areas without access to a nearby MOMS Club. If there are interested volunteers, the coordinators can help create a chapter in that area. Once the chapter has been formed (not actually a hard task), a website would be a wise thing to do for the chapter. Although not a requirement for MOMS Clubs, a website will help in so many ways aside from posting past and upcoming events. Members and non-members can access any information, ideas and thoughts of volunteer writers. They don't have to leave home to do this. Besides, the reach of the internet is boundless. You will never know how many mothers will be moved or helped by the site.

MOMS club website offers a support system and various activities that are suited for home mothers to enhance the lives of their own families. It also offers momsclub newsletter for membership communication.
