There are no shortages of web or print design studios, so choosing the right one can be a bit overwhelming when there are so many to choose from. Here are five steps to help you choose the right web design and print design studio, so that you are happy with the results.

Review their Portfolio - Have they done work in your industry before? Is there design quality good? Are you wowed by their designs? Is there website easy to use?

Request a Consultation - Next you want to speak with the designer or the creative director at the design studio. Pay attention to how attentive they are, are they eager to help you and offer you guidance. The last thing you want is for someone to Yes you all the way. After all you are hiring professionals because you want to get results, be sure that they are willing to work with you to help you achieve your goals.

Obtain and Compare Proposals - You should obtain proposals from at least two or three design studios to determine who provides not only the best price, but the best value. Compare apples to apples. Make a list of what each company offers and check it off against the others.

Contact References - It's always a good idea to check references. You want to find out if they were reliable, did they meet deadline, are they responsive, did they have to pay more than was initially quoted.
