Have you heard about Content Is King? Content optimization is very important aspect in web site design development. Because the optimized content always drives your web site into top position in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Live. Search engines regularly spider as much as new content of any websites in their database. If you do a search for any topic you will find the websites that come up in the top 10 all have a lot of content on their websites.

So content is still king if your goal is to build a robust and high quality web site. That does not mean that content is the only thing. It is content that leads to all those off-site factors being in your favor. There are 2 most important factors of content for your web site:

1. Keywords
Keyword research is the main core of your success. If you don’t find the right keywords you want to target then you will simply NOT make any money at all. It’s simple as that. The term that surfers type into the search box at Google or another search engine is called a ‘keyword’ or ‘keyword phrase’.

For example, if you want to find a web site that sells or has information about 'web design service' you would enter the keyword phrase 'web design service' in the search box at Google.com.

A number of tools allow internet marketers to assess demand for a topic by finding out which keywords surfers search for and how often those keywords are searched. WordTracker makes their Keyword Selector Tool available both free and paid options to everyone at: Word Tracker.

2. Fresh Content
Search engines favor web sites with frequently changing and unique content. Posting regular content to your web site is crucial. It will keep the search engines spiders coming to crawl your posts and have existing readers coming back to read the new stuff. Point being - content, fresh content, is king. Google seems to avoid stale content. Give the Googlebot something new to read on each visit and my experience has shown that it will be back often. So your fresh content should be part of your web site that you write or hire to have written exclusively for you. No one else gets access to it because it is yours. I hope you are smart enough to look into the future and see the benefit of doing that.

In the eyes of Search Engine Optimization, fresh and unique content is of paramount importance. In order to show the latest information on your site to the visitors through search engines, your page must be updated regularly so that the spiders will visit and index more often.

Ultimately, your content is the one part of your web site that makes you money. The code, design, and even traffic, while important, are not what ultimately get visitors to take action.
