Local name spaces parse correctly but cascading style sheets does not currently describe a mechanism for resolving name space prefixes so there is every possibility that cascading style sheet rules might not apply correctly to elements in the locally scoped name spaces. All name space declarations are placed in the extensible markup language. This ensures that they are global and thus there will be no collision of prefixes. The default name spaces cannot be used so all name spaced elements must have an explicit prefix. Markup controls description and style sheets controls display of the extensible markup language.
