Advancement in Air Transport

With advances in our modes of travel since the late seventies to the present time it would not be a surprise to see an individual being transported from one place to another by a mere bat of an eyelash. Well, another decade or so perhaps. However, as for our present day and age, aviation travel has become so vital, convenient, cost-effective, and time saving that it has become a necessity for an individual regardless of his status in life.

Aviation travel has several advantages as opposed to all other forms of transportation. Aside from the obvious fact that it would actually reduce travel time ten to twenty folds, it has been construed as one of the safest if not the safest mode of transfer available. Convenience is also another factor in determining the importance of aviation travel, it reduces the ill effects of traffic experienced in land transportation and the scary nature occurrences in maritime travel. Yet despite this seeming advantages brought about by travel by air, we cannot discount the fact that there has been ad always will be aviation accidents that would cause the lives of so many people traveling in it.

The worst part of being inside an aircraft is the fact that you have no way out. You are trapped in a pressurized compartment with other passengers and cargo that if an accident or untoward event happens inside such aircraft while in flight then you have no way of finding an easy escape out of such scenario. Also, an aircraft defies one of the basic laws of nature which is gravity. Hence, when the forces that defies it malfunctions then you have no recourse but to be the subject of the wrath of such natural phenomenon.

Flying from one place to another also comes with it dependence on so many other factors. An example is the determination of whether or not a brewing atmospheric pressure is prevalent or that a storm is fast approaching. Turbulence is also a constant occurrence when traveling by means of an aircraft. By virtue of its apparent isolation, it has also been a favorite subject of terrorist attacks, or utilized as an instrument in doing such incomprehensible conduct. We are all witnesses on how terrorist actors have utilized aircrafts in the 9-11 Bombing. We have seen how many lives have been sacrificed because of the lack of security prevalent with in airline premises. This has been a common occurrence since time immemorial, yet to this date there has been no efficient method of solving it.
