If you are making a will what are the key things you need to incorporate in your will. Firstly who you want to benefit from your estate and if there are any specific gifts you want to make. That way as you are writing your will you have already thought about that issue.

If you are making a will you can always leave a letter of wishes..things you didn't exactly put down when making your will but maybe items of sentimental value but no worth you would like to give someone. As you are making a will it is often the case that you suddenly think about what so & so would like and even that so & so isn't getting what they wanted. Having thought about who will benefit from your making a will you need to think about who you would like to execute or distribute your estate once it has been settled. Many people choose a close friend or family member but if you are making a will it's useful to consider making a will with someone you would trust like the family solicitor. When you are making a will asking the advice of a professional like a solicitor who has plenty of experience in making a will is a good idea especially if you think your estate might be complicated.
