Some people will ask when should i think about the process of making a will and where should i go if i need any help.
You would think that the first option for making a will is to visit a legal firm or a solicitor, for most of us our first encounter with a solicitor was when we bought our first home and you tended to stay with that solicitor throughout your life for anything else you may have needed. These days though much of the work relative to buying a house is almost wholey done remotely, away from any solicitors office and as a result you never actually visit the solicitor as such. The same thing in my opinion applies when making a will, with access to the world wide web there is no need to visit a solicitor to make a will as there are many will writing services available online.
There is a lot of independent advice on the web and a few solicitor firms offer making a will services through websites. Will drafters also apprea as a service where a trained person, who is not usually a solicitor, will visit you at home and start the will writing process. When making a will part of the service is to establish the areas you must cover in your will and also if you should also be seeking expert advice.
You can also, if time is of the essence, think about buying one of the "off the shelf" wills or DIY wills that you do yourself or you can begin making a will through some of the will writing web sites like www.onlinewill.co. uk . You can also get will writing advice from a number of organisations like www. helptheaged.org.uk who also offer a very helpful booklet on the subject that you can download.

I have a blog which highlights the importance of Will writing and covers the reasons as to why one should write a Will. It was stated that over 70% of the UK population do not have a Will, therefore i set out to create a source of information online to assist those that do not have a Will and point the reasons as to why you should write a Will.
