Lancaster, PA - Sarah Lynn Timblin who resides in Washington Boro, PA stands accused of operating her motor vehicle on the wrong side of the road while intoxicated by more than three times the legal limit. As a result of this decision three men were killed in the crash on Wednesday evening due to alcohol related injuries. The victims of the fatal crash are: 40 year old Inocente Yanez Sanchez, 45 year old Luis Yanez Sanchez, and 47 year old Marlin Banks. Inocente and Luis were brothers. They worked with Mr. Banks at a janitorial service company called First Quality Services. Originally the men did not have to go into work, but took on additional hours for the janitorial company that evening. The men were residents of York, PA. They were making their journey to their job in a company vehicle at the time of the accident when they sustained fatal alcohol related injuries.

It is reported that Sarah Lynn Timblin's blood alcohol level was 0.26 at the time of an administered blood test. The legal limit for the state of Pennsylvania is 0.8, which hers was greater than three times above the allowable limit. The crash occurred before 3:00 a.m. as Ms. Timblin made the decision to go the wrong way on an exit ramp close to Park City Center. The charges she now faces are: one count of driving the on a one-way road the wrong way, one count of reckless driving, two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, three counts of homicide with a vehicle while driving under the influence, and three counts of homicide by vehicle.

Ms. Timblin's arrest took place at 10:20 p.m. at her residence. The judge set bail at $100,000 in cash only and when she was unable to place bail for herself she was then escorted to the Lancaster County Prison. She is 23 years old and this is not the first brush she has had with the law regarding alcohol related charges. Prior records from February 2006 show Ms. Timblin received drives for careless driving and driving while under the influence within East Hempfield Township. Her plea was guilty to the careless driving charge. Following the charges she was enrolled in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program designed with first-time offenders in mind. At the time of the first incident her blood alcohol level was measured at 0.20. She is a 2003 graduate from Lancaster Christian School.

Ms. Timblin received treatment for small injuries from the fatal crash at Lancaster General Hospital. While at the hospital she was given a blood test to sample for alcohol levels. At the time of the crash the charges were not filed. Police waited until the results of the test were conclusive as to Ms. Timblin's blood alcohol level. There has been no report yet as to when the court date will be set for this case.
