The release date for NCAA Football 10 can't come soon enough, but until that day comes, it's best to spend your remaining time on advanced planning. Take a look at the new features of EA Sports' new video game, Season Showdown, and try imagining what they can do to enhance your future school team.

Procedural Awareness
Defensive backs, receivers, and even ball carriers get to benefit - or suffer - from procedural awareness. This new feature takes into account little but important things such as where the player's actually looking and how long it would take for the player to find the ball.

Adaptive AI
With Season Showdown, your gaming console or PC pays better attention to your favorite plays and actions. If, for instance, you have the habit of prioritizing your quarterback's moves then the game will automatically boost spy defenses of your QB.

Team Building
This is one of the most hyped-about new features of NCAA Football 10. Teambuilding once again grants players the opportunity to create their own school varsity team. You can even choose your own logos if you want!

Season Showdown
This feature takes team building to the next level. Be very careful when choosing which team you wish to support because your first choice shall also be your last. From thereon, everything you do will be counted for your school. If you win a match, answer the trivia challenge correctly, or get the most number of players vote for your team - all these will earn you credits for your school of choice.

Game Planning
Fickle-minded gamers will have a harder time playing NCAA Football 10 because of its enhanced game planning abilities. Now, you truly need to take the time and effort to evaluate your options and act accordingly. A last minute change might not get the results so don't make any decision until you've thought it over several times.

Enhanced Super Sim
If you have a sudden need to leave, quitting playing will subject you to a 50% loss of credits. Rather than risk that, why not let the game's sim mode take control? Taking into consideration your previous actions, you'll find yourself taking a shortcut to the end of the match and finding out if you win…or not.

The All-Important Quarterback
They're often big and tough, and they're not the kind of people you want to mess with. Quarterbacks are the backbone of your school team and EA Sports made sure that abilities of your QB are improved to gain generally better results.

--
Download NCAA 10 Rosters for your NCAA Football 10 video game.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Season Showdown unites players of all consoles but divides them by school. That's right. EA Sports has made playing a NCAA Football Video Game very personal by staking a player's all-important school pride.

A Choice for Life
Players, beware: your choice of school is irrevocable. Be very sure you have chosen the school you want to represent from start to end because there's no going back. On the other hand, if you have made the right choice then this piece of news should cheer you up: every game you win will contribute to your school's cause. Thanks to Season Showdown, you can now support your school while still having fun!

Schedule
Season Showdown is patterned after the actual schedule of the regular college football season. There is, however, a month's interval between the release of the game and the start of NCAA football in the real world. Think of this as the Season Showdown pre-season and you can cool your heels by earning extra credits for your school. The more credits your school has, the easier it will be for your school to reach the championship.

Upon commencement of the regular season, your school shall face a different opponent every week. Whichever team your school's facing in the real world should be your virtual opponent as well.

Those who win in their respective divisions will then battle for the conference title. The top 32 schools still have a chance though, as they fight it out in a single elimination tournament.

How to Win a Match-Up
There are five categories that determine a school's win over their weekly match-up. The school that tops any three of those five categories shall be declared the victor. The categories are listed below.

Games vs. CPU
If you're not ready to face a live or online opponent then no worries because you can just go head to head against a CPU opponent and your win will still contribute credits to your school.

Games vs. Showdown Opponemt
Look up which team your school is squaring off for the week and find a player that represents the said team.

Games Online vs. the Nation
Winning a game against any team that isn't listed as your showdown opponent for the week will be credited to this category.

NCAA Trivia Challenge
This challenge is available during the pre-season and allows you to earn extra credits for your school. For regular season, questions pertaining to the current season will also be included. Your goal is to help your school make it to the top 50 for the week. NCAA Trivia Challenge may be accessed even by individuals who don't own the game.

Allies and Rivals
Finally, you have a category where networking comes to play. Who's your ally and who's your rival? Each player is given five votes every week and even if your school didn't make it far in the season, you still have those votes to look forward to every week.

--
NCAA Football 10 has become a better game because of the NCAA 10 season showdown, don't you think?

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

First things first: the website for NCAA Football 10 Season Showdown will not go live till the 14th of July. If you try accessing it prior to that date, you will merely be redirected. To help abate your frustration, we have gathered several exciting tidbits of information about one of the most highly anticipated games of 2009.

TeamBuilder Web Application
If you have an original PS3 or Xbox 360 version of NCAA Football 10, you'll receive a code that unlocks 12 slots. This means you'll be able to create up to a dozen teams and save them to your hard drive. Those who pre-ordered will receive a code for thirteen more slots, giving them a chance to build up to 25 teams in total.

With every created team, a player virtually has endless ways of customizing it, from rosters to fields to logos and uniforms.

Earning Extra Credits during the Pre-Season
There is about a month-long gap between the opening of the regular football season and the release of EA Sports' Season Showdown. If you think you'll be forced to stay idle during that time, think again.

This period, which is referred to as the Season Showdown Pre-Season, offers players three ways to earn extra credits for their school.

Firstly, all games you win vs. any CPU-controlled team will be credited to your school's record. Games you win versus any online opponent shall also be counted. Lastly, and this is open even to players who don't own an original version of the game, you can log in to the Season Showdown page in the official website of EA Sports and try your hand in the NCAA Trivia Challenge.

Questions are generally historical during the pre-season but will include questions regarding the current season when the regular season opens.

Earning Credits during the Regular Season
Of course, knowing all these might not be enough to satisfy your cravings for Season Showdown. That's totally understandable so how about some food for thought or, more specifically, would you like an opportunity to start planning your strategies this early?

You already know the different ways you can win a game and earn credits for your school. But Season Showdown also offers you the chance to earn extra credits even when you lose. You can chalk up more credits for your school by scoring high in terms of skills, strategy, loyalty, sportsmanship, underdog, and playing a game that's worthy of being an ESPN Instant Classic.

--
For NCAA Football 10 News, check out NCAA Football 10 Rosters.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

A new NCAA Football game from EA is up and coming. The game NCAA Football 2010 is hitting the shelves on July and we are dying to know what new features they have added to this great game. There has been a lot of talk on online forums and blogs. And the hype just keeps growing. Here are features you could expect from this new game.

One feature that most NCAA fans will appreciate is the "Create a School" feature. Fans will surely enjoy creating their own schools which will keep them asking for more. Build their team to be the best. This will keep the game fresh and open for new possibilities. Together with this feature is the "Team Builder" feature. This will include pre-loaded logos as well as allow players to upload their own.

Another feature you should look out for is the "Procedural Awareness" feature. This feature gives players the ability to turn their head. The engine automatically focuses on what the player is looking at and calculates the amount of time it takes before the action the player plans to do actually happens. This makes the game a lot more realistic.

Another feature is the "Adaptive AI" feature. One of NCAA Football 2010's best features is Adaptive AI. This feature will mix things up instead of doing the same plays over and over again. For example, you do a play over and over; the AI of the opposing team will change plays to counter yours. If you pass a lot at the same position they will counter you by putting a man there. This feature is really a blessing. It will not only give us more of a challenge, it will be like playing in the real game.

The "Game Planning" feature is a very interesting one. You would be able to adjust how each and every player in your team plays. On the other hand, with its potential to give you those big plays comes potential for disaster. This feature will make you fine tune your team, for those very specific plays. This is definitely a big plus for NCAA Football 2010.

All these features sure are things to look forward to. These aren't all the features announced, but these are some of the most interesting. Every player old and new will definitely look forward to EA's upcoming NCAA Football 10 game. So mark your calendars for this game's release.

--
Download NCAA Rosters for your NCAA 10 Football video game.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

NCAA Football 10 is coming, and there has been so much hype going on around the web. Blogs and forums focused on the game are getting hyped up. The release date is already this July. Fans worldwide have been buzzing about this game. One of its popular sides, Dynasty Mode is getting better. Here is a look at NCAA Football 10's Dynasty Mode.

First up are the recruits. In NCAA Football 10, recruits have had an overhaul at Dynasty Mode. Recruits this year aren't just reloaded freshmen. The freshmen will be allowed to grow into juniors or seniors. The recruits won't have ratings that are too high but ratings which are balanced. Only a handful of recruits will have high rating, and the rest will have lower ratings. The quality of the school will also be emphasized. Smaller schools this time will grow at a slower pace when CPU-controlled. This will make the Dynasty Mode for this game will be a whole lot more realistic.

Next up, we take a look at scheduling. Compared to last year, this year's scheduling has gotten way better with its major updates. One issue fixed is that if you win Big East Champ, you no longer have to play in the Orange Bowl, not unless you're going for the National Title. The schedule of Big 12 has been changed into a two-year cycle. First play everyone in your division then play three other teams from the other division. There will no longer be night games on November for the Big 10. The issue where Arizona State plays California and Oregon State on the road has been fixed. Scheduling has gotten better this year.

Poll Logic has also gotten an overhaul. It can now take on season movement at an earlier stage. They also keep an eye out for your opponents' rankings. Another big change is the ranking system. Unranked teams can take on high ranked teams, and if they beat them, they will gain a rank.

CPU Logic also has its upgrades, from how they recruit to how they handle their rosters and how their games are simulated. AI will begin to target exact positions once they've filled all their needs.

Finally, since players now have lower ratings, they will progress at faster rates this time. Your school's quality also has a major role in player progression. The better your school is, the faster your players will progress and gain attributes.

These changes in Dynasty mode will bring the game to a whole new level. All fans old and new will definitely enjoy the Dynasty Mode of NCAA Football 10.

--
NCAA Football 2010 is highly anticipated by football video game fanatics because.
NCAA Football has geared up through the years to become the topmost selling college football game series for more than ten years now. It simply gets better and better through the years. It brings out much excitement in the player because of the incredible game experience it gives to every player.

With the coming of NCAA Football 2010, players would want to know exactly how it would be different from NCAA Football 2009. What’s to be glad about with 2010 updated version is that it has all-new features that would definitely be delightful for all college football fans out there, especially when online NCAA Football 2010 gaming means points for each student who plays the game. That means each online participant contributes to his or her college’s winning the season.

Fans have always looked for authenticity in the NCAA football series that it has become a great challenge for EA Sports, the makers. Good thing EA Sports have always delivered authentic games each time they come up with an updated version. In the NCAA Football 2010, each school or university who is part of the Football Bowl Subdivision will be embodied by their own colors, mascots and cheerleaders. The great thing about it is that there are now more than a hundred schools that participate in the 2010 game.

When NCAA Football 2010 comes out in July of this year, there is now room for players who get lazy while playing. The simming option allows the player to pick the kind of play and the computer will play the rest of the game. Still to be tested when it comes out, no one still knows if it’s bound to be effective.

Here’s another incredible thing with NCAA Football 2010, procedural awareness makes the players look more realistic. With this latest feature, receivers and defensive backs now can look at the ball just before they play.

That’s about it about the “known” features of the all-new NCAA Football 2010. There are still more new elements into the latest game but gamers are intentionally made to anticipate, to add to the surprise. EA Sports is deliberately keeping everything a surprise up to a certain limit. The makers have allowed fans to draw out wish lists for the upcoming NCAA Football 2010 so that suggestions could possibly be integrated into the game. Among those that came out in the wish list is a better line play, addition of team entrances, and crowd atmosphere.

--
No, you don't just get yourself NCAA Football 10 because it's the latest game for your xbox 360. It's simply the best.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The excitement is all due to the fantastic gameplay and the equally fantastic gaming experience it offers to users.

Season Showdown
This all-new feature will be a delight for fans with strong passions for their respective school favorites. Every fan counts in Season Showdown as the credits are not only accrued during the game but also by playing online. With Season Showdown, every student’s participation counts if they want to make their school the #1 college for the season.

Authentic Gaming Experience
Authenticity has long been a primary and ongoing concern of fans, and it’s a challenge that EA Sports doesn’t hesitate to meet with each game they release. With NCAA Football 2010, each and every school making up the Football Bowl Subdivision is ably represented in the game from mascots to cheerleaders to school colors. That’s over a hundred schools for students to choose from!

Simming
Sometimes, we get lazy even while we’re playing. But that doesn’t mean you’re lacking enthusiasm. You’re just…feeling lazy. That’s all there is to it. EA Sports understand that kind of response and it’s why they’ve presented the option for simming.

With simming, all a player has to do is pick the play and it’s up to AI to figure out the rest. Whether this is effective is something we’ll have to see to believe on July 14.

Procedural Awareness
Don’t you just hate it when games are purported to be realistic and then you notice how their eyes aren’t even able to look at what they’re going? Color NCAA Football 2010 different! With procedural awareness, it allows your defensive backs and wide receivers to look at the ball prior to making a play for them.

Other Features People Want to See in NCAA Football 2010
If you check out the game’s official website, you’ll notice the scarcity of news available regarding the other new features of NCAA Football 2010. No surprise there, though, since anticipation makes everything sweeter. The mystery and excitement surrounding the game, in any case, has induced game enthusiasts and experts into creating their own wish lists for NCAA Football 2010 features.

More Teams?
If EA Sports can do it with basketball, surely they can do it with football, too? Thanks to the unexpected victory of Appalachian State over Michigan, fans are clamoring for additional FCS teams in NCAA Football 2010. Will EA listen?

Better Line Play
Everyone hopes so. A lot of players are exasperated with the predictability of line play and excessive use of stiff arm locks. Could there be a change?

--
Everyone wants NCAA Football 2010 to be better but whether or not EA Sports makes people’s dreams a reality remains to be seen on July 14. Mark that day on your calendar, folks!

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
