No matter what type of blog that you have, one of the best places that you can advertise your blog is to join a blogger forum. After all, everyone who posts there has a blog and that's the main subject. It's a great place to meet other bloggers and to advertise your blog.

There are quite a few blogger forums that you can sign up for on the internet. One is known as Bloggeries, where you can show off your blog, get your blog reviewed or review other blogs, and find lots of tools that you can use for your own blog.

Another good place to go is to Blog Forum. Blog Forum, like Bloggeries, has spots for you to market and show off your blog. Blogger forums are a great place to advertise your blogs.

If you use your blog to advertise something that you are selling, or you want to get a lot of traffic to your blog in order to make money, you want to go someplace where it can get exposure. When you advertise on a blog forum, you know that you are placing your advertisement in a place where blogging is something that people enjoy.

Just remember when you are posting to a forum to read the rules and abide by them. That way you'll get your blog noticed and you will know that you are doing the right thing.

If you want to have more people visit your blog, there are plenty of blog directories on the Internet that you can submit your blog to so that people will come and visit it. Most blog directories are listed by the topics that the blogs cover.

Blog Catalog is a free blog directory that offers categories such as career and jobs, writing, Iraq, and many others. It has features such as featured blogs and other things to offer those who submit their blogs there.

Another great place to add your blog is blog-drectory.org. Not only do they have an an extensive list of categories with sub categories, you can get your blog reviewed. For the most popular blogs, it shows the amount of hits that blogs have and if they have any reviews. As well as listing by category, the blogs are also listed by location.

There are other blog directories on the Internet - these are only a couple of them. But blog directories are a great place to advertise your blog and to make new contacts. You never know what you will find when you're browsing through the directory, and you may just find out information that you never knew. Some of the blog directories offer chat features as well, so that you can meet other people easily.

Blogging traffic is a give and take relationship. Sometimes one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog is by visiting someone else's blog.

Go to their blog and read one of their posts, or read a few of them. Chances are that you are going to find something that you have in common.

When you find something that you find truly interesting on a blog, leave a comment so that they know that you were there. When you are commenting on someone's post, you want to make sure that you don't leave just a generic comment. If you like the post, say something about what you read in the post.

After you have commented on the person's post, then you can say something like, "I really like [[topic]] too, I had a similar experience to yours". And then use it to link back to your blog.

But be sure that you are sincere when you are commenting, and don’t make them feel like you're just fishing for traffic.

If someone thinks that you are using their blog to get more traffic to yours, they won't visit your site and your efforts will be wasted.

By Peter Arnold from BrisVegas Marketing.
If you have a blog that you want to share with other people, there are a lot of free ways that you can get your blog noticed.

One of those ways is something that you do everyday, and that you may not even consider as a way to share your blog. It's simple - put the link to your blog in your email signature.

Chances are that you send out emails more times than you can count during the day and each time you send out an email, you can advertise your blog by putting the address of your blog in your email's signature.

It's always a good idea to write something catchy like "See what I'm up to now", or "Read my latest post here", depending on what type of blog you have.

The thing to remember about putting an adveritsement in your signature for your blog is to make it short, but eyecatching.

You want people to be interested enough to want to click on it, but you also don't want to scare them off.

Just like it is with any adveritsement, you want to give them just enough to be interested and take a closer look at what it is that you are advertising.

Think about what it is that your blog is about. What is really going to interest people about it and make them want to visit. That is what you should include in your signature, and that is what is going to get people to go to your blog.

By Peter Arnold from BrisVegas Marketing.
The importance of articles in marketing websites is immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the amount of traffic into a site. It has become a key element in making a site work and therefore, earn a profit. A website operator and owner must include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.

Articles are a factor in giving a site high rankings in search engine result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie it gets. Obviously, with a huge amount of traffic, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating methods as well.

But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles. They have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eye and the interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.

Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles work for you. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic sucking site.

1. Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer, etc). It could be anything they want.

The important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site or product. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able to have articles about cars and their parts.

There are many tools on the internet that provide services in helping a webmaster determine what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

2. Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to "feel" its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles can do for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used in an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

3. Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just pepper an article with keywords. It must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information. Articles should be well written with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field. As more people believe in you they will be able to trust you and your products.

4. Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember: if you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON'T ever forget to include a link to your site.

A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

I found this helpful resource - you might want to have a look:

--> http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/go/instartwizard/

--

By Peter Arnold from BrisVegas Marketing.
Everybody wants a shortcut, a quick fix to their money problems.

I've actually heard this more than once, "I need to make x amount in the next two weeks to pay my mortgage. I know nothing about Internet Marketing. Will your program do that for me?"

Key words: "Do that for me."

I think people have seen so many headlines that read, "You can be an overnight success without lifting a finger", that they actually believe it's true. And they keep buying product after product thinking they'll eventually find the one that works.

I've asked the people who requested refunds what they didn't like about my Affiliate Cash Secrets system. The reply is always either, "It's just the same old stuff", or "I don't think I can do it".

The truth is, they're just too lazy to make it work. There, I said it.

I'll be the first to admit that Affiliate Cash Secrets is based on the same marketing principals that have been working for direct marketers on and off line for the last 50 years!

1. Get a list of leads in a target market
2. Sell a product that the market wants
3. Follow up with related products and services

Just about any decent marketing system will get you into profit, but you have to actually take action if you want to see any kind of success.

Learn The Basics Or You’ll Be Chasing Your Tail Forever

Here's what that means...

First of all, you simply have to get your own domain and hosting if you ever want to be successful online. Period.

Sure. There are a lot of automated websites that claim you can just "point and click" your way to wealth. Don't believe it. You need to be in control of your business. And when you finally realize it, you'll have to move everything over (if they let you) from "easy street" to reality and start building a real business.

If you want to set up a squeeze page, you have to learn:

1. How to use an HTML editor
2. How to use an autoresponder
3. How to integrate your subscription form
4. How to use FTP software

All that is "basic" stuff. Unless you have deep pockets to pay somebody to do all this for you, these are skills that you MUST possess if you want to ever get anywhere with your business.

And guess what? You don't have to pay anything to learn this stuff. You can find dozens of free tutorials online.

Just go to Google and enter: video tutorial topic (where "topic" is what you want to learn about).

If you want to sell a resell rights product, you have to learn how to set up a Clickbank or PayPal account. There are tutorials for that.

If you want to create a PDF document you have to learn how to use a word processor and PDF Printer. There are tutorials for that.

If you want to make your PDF viral, you have to learn how to use Viral PDF. There are tutorials for that.

When I first started online in 1997, there were very few tutorials. There were no forums. I had to learn almost everything through trial and error.

I spent at least 10 hours per day learning how to use Microsoft Word, FrontPage, Photoshop, and WSFTP. I learned how to build websites and use autoresponders and eventually how to program in Perl, JavaScript, and PHP.

I put in over 200 hours before I ever made a dime.

Fortunately, you won't have to spend that much time learning because there is so much more information available today to help you get started.

Ten years ago, there were like three ebooks on Internet Marketing that you could download. The rest were expensive home study courses – actual printed manuals!

Clickbank didn't even exist back then! Want to see what their site looked like when they started in 1999? Go to Archive.org and type in their domain name.

The point of this article is this: if you've been "chasing your tail" trying to find the "magic bullet" that will build your business for you, it's time to get back to reality and learn the basics so you can finally get started.

--

Derrick VanDyke is the author of "Affiliate Cash Secrets".
To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills.

With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is why article writing, submissions and publications are also getting popular.

There are already many tools that people can use to make the process of distributing their articles very easy. Though this is invaluable in getting the content more exposure, it's only half the story. Let us take a look first at the common mistakes that some people make before submitting to article directories:

1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them.

In article writing, there are three key benefits as to why you are promoting them: branding, lead generation, and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts.

But there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them.

You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better content.

2. Failing to maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing.

You may know already that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from those same articles? Mention keywords at strategic places but don't overdo it.

Remember it's not only about the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large number of readers and gaining the ability of leveraging other brands because of the quality of your work. Better search engine results also are great benefits.

But these things do not put much money in your pocket. There are other factors that can turn your article marketing efforts into an opportunity that can boost your earnings. Not just increase the number of visitors to your site.

Start out with a plan and make certain that your article will serve the function that you intended it to have.

3. Publishing content that does not help your readers.

Maybe in the process of writing articles, you think that all you want is links back to your site. And any visitors it can generate are fine.

Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. Often they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting.

You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people. All it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight.

Write the articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, spell checks, good research on a topic, and even hiring a writer to produce good content on your behalf.

In the end, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time making quality content.

It's your choice.

--

To submit your articles, get this free software:

--> http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/go/articlesubmitter/

This is the big one.
What You Don’t Know About Using PLR Content

Private Label Content (PLR) has been a hot topic in online business over the last couple of years. As more opportunities have emerged for people to make money with niche marketing, so has the demand for affordable content.

PLR is the perfect solution.

If you’re not familiar with how PLR works, it is essentially a way for multiple people to "share" content. Since they are all given access to use or change the content, they pay significantly less.

You can then use that PLR as is and put your name on it as the author. Or you can divide it up, add to it, combine it with other content, create an audio product from it… the sky’s the limit. The more creative you are, the more unique your resulting product will be.

For online marketers, this can mean a savings of countless hours of work over writing all of their content themselves. Or thousands of dollars in outsourcing fees if they were to hire a professional writer.

But before you get started using PLR to grow your business, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind:

1. It’s important that you trust the source of the PLR content – Not all PLR content is created equal. There are lots of people publishing inferior content that no marketer in their right mind would use.

Remember, once you put your name on the content, your potential customers think that you wrote it. If it’s not well written, informative and interesting you’ll make a bad impression. Even if you’re just using the content on your website to improve search engine rankings, it has to be good quality because prospects will be reading it and judging you based on it.

2. The best use for PLR is not article site submissions. Submitting articles to article directories can be a great promotion strategy. And in the early days of PLR that is primarily how people used the content. But the article directories have gotten smarter and realized that multiple people are submitting the exact same articles. This makes the directory look bad, so they’ve tightened up their policies and no longer allow this.

But that’s alright, because that’s probably the worst use of PLR content. It just makes you look bad if you’re publishing the exact same article as someone else. Instead, smart marketers are using PLR content to create their own unique products. Customers are less likely to notice any overlap in the information if you do this well.

3. Combining PLR is the easiest way to use it. If you use a piece of PLR content exactly as is, the odds are that you’ll be competing directly with someone else who is offering the same product.

However, if you add other pieces of PLR content then you can create something that is uniquely yours. You still don’t have to do any writing, yet you have a product with different information then your competitors are offering.

PLR content truly is a great way to get the content you need for your business. It’s affordable, easily accessible and flexible. Whether you need content for your blog or want to create a complete product line, PLR is the perfect choice.

--

For more information visit the BrisVegas Blog here http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/blog/?p=6 and sign up to our mailing list (look for "Get Connected") and check out the extra resource link at the end of the article on the blog.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Online marketing may have developed a sudden surge these past few years, but many in the know, have felt its rise even from before then. As more internet based businesses are started, the need to develop new marketing skills and knowledge is essential. More and more marketing strategies are being discovered and developed to cope with the changing face of the online business world.

While there are companies that are very eager to help your site and build a list for a fee, there also many ways that you can spread the word about your business in a more economical way. One of these is opt-in email marketing, also known as permission marketing.

Opt-in marketing requires the permission of a willing person to subscribe to your marketing messages, messages that take form in newsletters, catalogs and promotional mailings via e-mail. The more opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there are to get more sales. To do this, you must build a list of all those who want to subscribe to your opt-in marketing list.

You will want a list of targeted prospects. They are targeted because they have already shown an interest in what you have to offer. These are the people who have liked what they have seen on your squeeze page and have decided they want to see more.

Many people think that building a list is hard work and takes a lot of time. This is not so. It takes a bit of patience and some strategies. Here are five of them.

1. A free report, book, or software in exchange for their details. I'm going to give you a report you can give away as much as you want. You can get it by reading this article on the blog and using the link you see at the end. If this is the blog right now, keep going, if not, keep going, this will link to the blog.

2. An attractive squeeze page with a strong headline that converts well. Design your own or use a template you can find on the web. Find my "Blogroll" on the blog and click "Join Mailing List" to see my squeeze page. Join the mailing list and after a few weeks I will give you some squeeze page templates.

3. An iron clad guarantee of privacy. You're never going to sell or share their details. You hate spam. Make sure your visitors know it. This is the first step in building a relationship of trust. Deliver what you promise, always.

4. The ability to easily unsubscribe. A modern autoresponder will take care of this for you by inserting an unsubscribe link into every email you send. In fact, it's the law now as well.

5. Drive traffic to that squeeze page, and lots of it. The report I'm handing over today will give you some traffic tips, no strings attached.

These 5 strategies will get people onto your list. How to interact with your subscribers needs to be tackled another day.

Go to the blog to download your free report.

--

For more information visit the BrisVegas Blog here: http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/blog/?p=12 and check out the extra resource links at the end of the article on the blog.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Over the past years, web hosting has grown bigger than it used to be. With more companies getting into this business and finding the many benefits it can give them, the demand for web hosting has never been higher. These seem to be the trend of today.

38 million people have put up their very first websites online this year alone. And to think, majority of those sites will be offering different affiliate programs for people to choose and participate in.

This only means one thing. It is easier now to find the right web host for your application. The possibility of quality web hosting companies separating themselves from the rest of the industry is anticipated. If this is done, the unprofessional and incompetent ones will suffer.

Support will be the number one consideration for people when choosing a web host. It will be obvious that traditional advertising will become less and less effective. Most people would rather opt for the web host based on things that they see and hear. Also based on the recommendations by those who have tried them and have proved to be a successful.

This is a great opportunity for web hosting affiliates and resellers alike. There would be hundreds of web hosting programs to choose from and that the difficulty in finding the right one for them is not a problem anymore.

How do you become a successful affiliate in the niche markets using web hosting?

If you think about it, everyone who needs a website needs a web hosting company to host it for them. As of now, there is really no leading hosting industry so most people choose hosts based from recommendations. Usually, they get it from the ones that have already availed of a web hosting services.

With the many hosts offering affiliate programs, there is the tendency to find the one which you think will work best for you. Think of the product you will be promoting. There are now laws to protect the privacy and rights of the internet user from spamming (unwanted emails).

With the popularity of email for marketing because of the low cost, and effectiveness if done correctly, many companies have flooded many email accounts with promotional mail. That's not the correct way.

But, with an opt-in list, people subscribe and confirm to be on your list. That's the correct way. They want to receive email from you. They have consented to being on your list by subscribing themselves.

It is essential that you keep your list clean and manageable. Your reputation as a legitimate business person and having a legitimate website depends on you being a straight and true marketing professional. There are bounces that happen because the server was busy at the time but can still be delivered later. There are also bounces because the inbox of the recipient is full at that time. Erase an email account from your list so that you have an accurate statistics and records as to how many are actually receiving your mail. A modern autoresponder will do all this for you.

Always provide an unsubscribe feature in your site and an unsubscribe link in your mails. When someone in your list files a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don’t take them off your list and keep sending them your e-mails, you are now sending them spam mail.

Do not provide pornographic or shocking and disturbing content in your newsletters.

You've finally realized that you need a targeted opt-in list. You've read countless articles giving expert advice and also read many success stories of people creating a small fortune with opt-in lists so you finally decide to build one of your own. Then it happens, you build your list, all the time following the experts advice to the "tee" and you still can't make a profit.

In fact, you may be losing money. You might be hiring writers to help you with website content or articles or there might be some other expenses. Even if you have a big list, but only a very small percentage actually buys from you, you're still losing money. You’ll realize this after a few months when you see your statistics and sales figures.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? The most common mistake is that you dived straight in. Just because you wrote to people on your list doesn’t mean they are going to buy instantly. You need to write to them the correct way.

For those of you who have started mailing your list and have failed, don't worry, help is here. For those who are starting, here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Get your customers to trust you and your products first. Publish some articles first. Write about the topic you know and have started and used for your site. Help your subscribers with information.

Visit forums first to gain knowledge about your customers about their wants and needs and target those wants and needs. Post on these forums. Provide expert advice and recommendations. Put up a link to your site so they can see what your business is all about. When you feel that people trust you already, you will be able to start promoting products to your own opt-in list.

The certain truth is, sales will only happen when your subscribers believe and trust you. They want a product or service that is a good exchange for their money. People are not going to buy something from your recommendation if they don’t trust you.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need.

It's true that it is best to sell something that you have an interest in but it's not necessary. Do your research well and know what you're selling. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around.

3) Study successful marketers who have built large opt-in lists.

These are people who have been there and done it. Learn from them. Join their list and see what they do. You'll be able to discover what to do and what not to do from them because they have done it.

Building profitable opt-in lists don’t just happen overnight. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, and as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you.

--

Visit the BrisVegas Blog http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/blog/ for more or go directly to the article on the blog http://www.brisvegasmarketing.com/blog/?p=4 where you'll find additional links to resources.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
