Email as we know it, is much older than the internet.
It was not invented, but evolved.

The first email programs, were simple file directories, which contained the messages that were left on the computer from other users.
When computers became connected in networks, a from of addressing was needed.

Ray Tomlinson who worked for Bolt Beranek and Newman as a contractor, picked the @ symbol from the computer keyboard to denote sending messages from one computer to another. It was simply a matter of nominating name-of-the-user@
name-of-the-computer. This is the format that still continues. With the internet, email was made available free of charge with friendly web interfaces by providers such as Yahoo and Hotmail.
Email being free, provides a very convenient medium for electronic communication.
However, free services are always open to abuse.

Spam or Unwanted Commercial Email has made the handling of email a much more expensive proposition.

The Internet Service Providers who police the sending of messages have adopted filters that decide which messages are legitimate, so have the users and writers of email clients. The system may be imperfect as legitimate messages, sometime remain undelivered.

A Federal Registry of Do Nnot email addresses was thought to be ineffective and would only increase the problem of UCE. Perhaps there needs to be a change in either the either administration or usage.

Some corporations have instituted standard methods of writing better messages.
Others have also implemented classes in what is noted as e-mail etiquette.

The concept of social networking, may be ushering a change.
Other methods that can be adapted or adopted include RSS, Instant Messaging and SMS.

Alternative delivery of digital messages are widely available but widespread adaptation has been slow.

--
Dale Davidson has been on-line with different ventures helping consumers.

With a technical background and membership in IEEE.
Latest crusade to help make the web safer and stronger

Visit website

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Private Label Content (PLR) has been a hot topic in online business over the last couple of years. As more opportunities have emerged for people to make money with niche marketing, so has the demand for affordable content.

PLR is the perfect solution!

If you’re not familiar with how PLR works, it is essentially a way for multiple people to “share” content. Since they are all given access to use or change the content, they pay significantly less.
You can then use that PLR as is and put your name on it as the author. Or you can divide it up, add to it, combine it with other content, create an audio product from it… the sky’s the limit! The more creative you are, the more unique your resulting product will be.
For online marketers, this can mean a savings of countless hours of work over writing all of their content themselves. Or thousands of dollars in outsourcing fees if they were to hire a professional writer.
But before you get started using PLR to grow your business, there are a few things that you need to keep in mind:

1.	It’s important that you trust the source of the PLR content – Not all PLR content is created equal. There are lots of people publishing inferior content that no marketer in their right mind would use.
Remember, once you put your name on the content, your potential customers think that you wrote it. If it’s not well written, informative and interesting you’ll make a bad impression. Even if you’re just using the content on your website to improve search engine rankings, it has to be good quality because prospects will be reading it and judging you based on it.

2.	The best use for PLR is not article site submissions – Submitting articles to article directories can be a great promotion strategy. And in the early days of PLR that is primarily how people used the content. But the article directories have gotten smarter and realized that multiple people are submitting the exact same articles. This makes the directory look bad – so they’ve tightened up their policies and no longer allow this.
But that’s alright, because that’s probably the worst use of PLR content. It just makes you look bad if you’re publishing the exact same article as someone else. Instead, smart marketers are using PLR content to create their own unique products. Customers are less likely to notice any overlap in the information if you do this well.

3.	Combining PLR is the easiest way to use it – If you use a piece of PLR content exactly as is, the odds are that you’ll be competing directly with someone else who is offering the same product. However, if you add other pieces of PLR content then you can create something that is uniquely yours. You still don’t have to do any writing, yet you have a product with different information then your competitors are offering.

PLR content truly is a great way to get the content you need for your business. It’s affordable, easily accessible and flexible. Whether you need content for your blog or want to create a complete product line, PLR is the perfect choice!

--------------------------

PLRWholesaler offers one of the largest selections of high quality PLR content on the web.
According to German firm Gdata Security, the number of classic viruses and worms has decreased over the last year, but there has been a significant increase in new malware or malicious software such as Trojan downloaders, adware, spyware and backdoors .

Cyber criminals are increasingly focusing on generating revenue rather than being simply destructive

Effective security suites should combine virus protection, firewalls and anti-spam modules offering comprehensive solutions in one package.
It is essential that anyone on-line be adequately protected with firewalls and anti-viral software.

Although there may not have been many global outbreaks in recent months, the damaging activity continues under the radar to avoid easy detection.

Instead of mass mailings of uncontrollable worms and viruses, it appears that specific groups are being targeted via Bot networks.
Many data collectors operate thriving businesses selling e-mail addresses, credit card and financial account details.

They also obtain access data and users' surfing profiles,a using spyware and phishing, but have also adopted new methods.

The latest approach is to infiltrate call centres and companies which process large volumes of customer data with the intention of stealing and
selling the information.

Progress is being made with the apprehension and arrest of an Internet Telephony firm worker, who ran a botnet of more than 250000 PC's, spreading malware and stealing personal data.
The compromised computers were controlled through Internet Relay Chat commands, and stole information from PayPal accounts.

A Trojan dropper is usually started after a user unknowingly downloads a module, once started , the computer security settings are disabled and
the PC is now vulnerable to further attacks.
Once infected, your PC can now become part of a huge zombie army, that can be used for more destructive activity, such as sending spam.

The majority of malware consists of executable files or is based on script languages, such as Visual Basic or JavaScript.

Computers are increasingly being attacked by prepared images, audio files and documents.

More and more web applications which run without being installed in the browser such as is the case with AJAX, are being
developed under the Web 2.0 umbrella. Given the many new functions of these applications, security can easily be overlooked.
A high proportion of databases that house information can be hacked into with SQL injection

The growth of Web 2.0 is accompanied by an increasing likelihood that harmful code will be used to infect computers using these channels.
Harmful software is often offered as a direct download under a convincing pretext. The pretext could, for example, take the form of a Windows upgrade.
Security loopholes in browsers and browser components, such as graphics libraries, Flash, RealMedia and Quicktime, can also used to take control of computers

There are(Cross site scripting) XSS security loopholes in around four out of every ten web applications. With the spread of Web 2.0, they will increasingly be exploited by malware.

Checking your online virus protection:

This is a simple check which allows users to find out
whether their antivirus software can detect harmful
code on websites:

1. Open your browser

2. Enter the following URL:

http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar.com.txt

3. If the browser opens the page without problems and does not display a warning message, the PC does not have sufficient protection.

Popular social networking websites, where visitors can publish own content, are increasingly also being used to spread malware.
Myspace.com introduced users to over a million "friends" in a very short period

All surfers must have adequate protection against malware that includes the lastest patches and AV software that detects the latest signatures.

Download award winning spyware protection

--

Dale Davidson has been on-line involved with several diiferent ventures.

With a technical back ground and membership in IEEE.

Latest crusade to help make the web safer

Visit http://eConsumersearch.comdealsnewssqueeze.html

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The world wide web is composed of Links. There would be no web if there were no links.
Although there have been several new developments on the use of the web for
communication, the salient fact is that all website traffic still runs on links.

Recently developed Traffic generation strategies appear to be neglecting the
importance of the simple concept.

The Concept of Page Rank, as developed by the Google founders, simply shows that the more popular web pages have a higher number of incoming links.
This should remain, perhaps the most important aspect of any Traffic Generation strategy.

The first and foremost component of any webmaster's arsenal should always be an effective Link exchanging campaign.

Manual exchanging of Links can be a time consuming and tedious process.

It requires searching and contacting webmasters, who may not have the time to respond.
If and when they do respond after delayed periods, the information may not be received or may be incorrect.

After corresponding, verification may also be necessary.

Your Site may be recognized as being fully optimised, but without incoming links you may still be isolated.

An effective Link exchange campaign should also include the option of creating one way back links.
One way links have shown to be effective in generating traffic.

Another overlooked benefit of link exchanging includes networking, as the exchange can lead to expanded working relationships.

An automated Link exchange process, has now become an indispensible tool in the arsenal of all webmasters.

The importance of inbound links and link popularity
An automated Link Exchange process should include multiple considerations.

While emphasis has been placed on the number of incoming links, it is also important to remember the quality of these links are also a vital ingredient.

In-coming links should come from related sites, that are also recognised by the search engines.

The link should contain related keywords in the anchor text, as this appears to contribute to PR.

High link popularity translates to more visitors and more sales.

Your automated link exchange service should simplify the task of finding Link
exchange partners. Those partner sites mean more targeted and free visitors, increased link popularity, resulting in much better search engine rankings for your site.

You'll be less dependent on search engine traffic which may be more difficult to generate.
There may be no better way to generate free targeted traffic to your site

The website http://freelinksexchange.net provides comprehensive service for generating free website traffic thru Link exchanges.

--
<a title="free link exchange
