Internet marketing is the wave of the future. More and more people are choosing to work from home. Fuel prices are high, commutes are long and stressful and daycare is expensive. Wouldn't you like to fire your boss? Now is the time to consider a home based business.

The perfect model of a home based business is one where you need only a limited cash outlay. Obviously, starting any new business does require some capital, to think otherwise is crazy and unrealistic. Internet marketing requires an internet connection and a computer, either a PC or a laptop. I prefer a laptop because it allows me to be mobile. I can work from home or anyplace that has an internet hot spot. In today's day and age I have found hot spots everywhere, even on the back of my boat in the Bahamas! Now days, you do not even need a telephone connection because all of your telephone chatting can be done by VOIP, in other words, over the computer. COOL!

Most home based businesses try to sell you special lotions, potions and pills. The hype tells you that these products are the one and only, and if you buy them you will have health, wealth and beauty! YIKES! I am looking for something new and improved. I want the perfect business model. I think I have found it in the DubLi Network.

Why do most people go to the internet and surf around? Most are looking for information. When they have found their information, then they want to purchase the product or item of their choice for a good price. What if you could offer customers any and all products, things they want to buy, not something you convince them they need. In addition, you can offer them great prices? This sounds like a winner to me!

DubLi offers so many online shopping choices. You can purchase right now for a set price or you can visit one of their auctions shops. Right now DubLi offers three types of online auctions. The proposed auctions shops for the United States market are: Unique Bid, Xpress and ZerO. Each auction shop has a different twist to it and makes shopping not only fun, but almost addictive! I know that I deserve a home based business that customers want to visit each and every day! Not only that, I want them to refer their friends, also.

Dubli has a proven track record in Europe since 2006 and they are now in the process of bringing it to the United States and Canada. It is strictly in the early stages. As any network marketer will tell you, this is the time to jump on board and position yourself for the future expansion. There is only one beginning in any company, only one chance to be first, the time is NOW! Do not be left behind in the dust.

How many of you wished you had purchased stock in GOOGLE at the beginning. I want to see a show of hands. Please, do your due diligence and check out DubLi. Only YOU can fire your boss!

--

Denise Clarke is a retired Paramedic/Firefighter and is currently a successful internet marketer, writer and blogger.

The premise of DubLi is worldwide trading using e-commerce and internet marketing. It is a company that has a proven track record in Europe and it will soon be on this side of the pond in the United States.

DubLi Network was founded in 2003 and has its financial headquarters in the state of Delaware, USA and the operational HQ in Berlin, Germany. Founded by Michael Hansen, from Denmark, his vision of using a targeted marketing strategy may very well be the perfect business model for the future.

Many people want to work from home, they like the flexible hours, no long commute times or they just want to spend more time with their families. These folks want to make money online and they are searching for just the right business that speaks to them. They are tired of lotions, potions and pills that promise wealth, health and beauty along with compensation plans that boggle the mind, with names like binary, matrix and unilevel. Holy smokes, it makes my head hurt just to think about it.

Do you want to work full time or part time? Its up to you!

DubLi is all about offering buyers and sellers the opportunity to trade across language barriers and national boundaries. There are several ways to participate. First of all, you can open your own DubLi shop and have them help you with the set up. You decide what countries you want to sell your product to and they will handle the rest.

Refer customers to your website and they can buy quality, top of the line products for a fraction of the price. All sorts of products, thousands of name brand items that they can shop for online. Your customers do not have to fuel up the car, fight traffic or stand in line. They can let their fingers do the walking.

Maybe you like online auctions, DubLi has that also. Shops with names like "Unique Bid", "Xpress" and "ZerO" all with different auction concepts. There is truly something for everyone! This is not a copy of other big name online auction sites.

The really neat thing about DubLi is that in the United States it is a ground floor business opportunity, just the beginning and as most network marketers will tell you, that is the time to position yourself in a company and start building your business. Of course, as with any business, it is key to your success to have the support of good business partners. The great news is that YOU get to choose your own partners! Why waste your time and energy stumbling around in the dark when you can have the best of the best?

Research shows us that in the last ten months there have been more than 300,000,000 new internet users in the world. With that many new people surfing the internet for all sorts of information and products, it seems that the time is now for a company like DubLi to succeed.

Did you hear that? Listen closely, I think it is a call to action!

--

Denise Clarke is a retired Paramedic/Firefighter and is currently a successful internet marketer, writer and blogger.

Guanaja Honduras, a Bay Island paradise, located in Central America may be the next HOT SPOT for affordable retirement. Many Baby Boomers are now at retirement age and others are just looking to retire early, but how? The economy is sluggish and the US dollar has reached all time lows. They have worked hard to save for their golden years and now, faced with this financial crisis, the golden part is now tarnished and we are just left with years.

What are the next generation of old folks really looking for in retirement? How about warm tropical breezes and the pristine blue waters of the Caribbean Sea? Would you like to trade in that rocking chair on the porch for a hammock swinging gently under some rustling palm trees or the clicking of knitting needles for the ZING of fishing line? We still have our health and many of us want a little adventure with our advancing years!

Guanaja, a small island off the coast of Honduras, may just be the answer. Land is still inexpensive on this little island paradise and, so far, it has managed to fly under the mainstream radar screen as far major land developers.

Do you dream of a seaside cottage where you can walk out your front door and take a leisurely stroll down the beach or maybe a cabana on a hillside where you can cultivate orchids and pineapples? Guanaja has both! The highest point on the island is sixteen hundred feet and in addition it has many fresh water waterfalls with terrific drinking water. It also boasts the world's second largest barrier reef which protects the tiny island from large wave action and along with this reef come the colorful fish and live corals that would keep any diver or snorkeler happy for years to come!

Fish, did I hear you ask about fish? Less than three miles offshore, the Caribbean Sea drops off to thousands of feet. Billfish, tuna, dolphin, wahoo and a myriad of other migratory fish cruise these deep blue waters waiting for an anxious angler to troll by and then there are bonefish in the flats around the island. There is something for every type of fisher person.

What about birds? Just look out your window and you can see colorful parrots flying from tree to tree or put hummingbird feeders around your porch and have those little flying jewels coming for a visit. With enough patience these tiny birds will feed right from your hand held dish!

Affordable retirement should also include the option to hire help at a reasonable rate. The going rate for a housekeeper, cook or gardener is about one hundred and fifty dollars US per month and soon these friendly people will be almost part of your family.

Healthcare is available on the island in the form of clinics and for larger medical issues the mainland of Honduras is only a forty mile boat or airplane ride away. Many of these physicians have been trained in the United States or Cuba and the healthcare is extremely reasonable. A friend who was recently playing soccer was hit in the head with the ball leaving a two inch gash. He went to the local clinic where an x-ray was taken, given sutures and prescriptions for an antibiotic and pain killers. The bill totaled three dollars, YIKES!

If you are looking to live large, and are up for a bit of adventure and on a pristine Caribbean island, Guanaja Honduras may indeed be your affordable retirement spot.

--

Denise Clarke a retired Paramedic, is now a blogger, writer, photographer and internet researcher.
Retire Guanaja Honduras, Why Not!

What are you looking for in your retirement years? Something affordable, a place to enjoy your favorite outdoor activities or maybe somewhere you will never have to even see a snow shovel again? There are many questions that need to be answered when you consider the place that you may spend the rest of your years, or at least the next few!

Have you considered that the United States may not be able to answer all your needs? Many of us retirees have a bit of the wanderlust and want a little more adventure before we end our days. South of the border may be the answer to your dilemma. There is a small island off the coast of Honduras, in the Bay Islands, called Guanaja. Guanaja Honduras is a tropical gem of an island that has yet to be discovered by the masses. Property is still affordable and the islanders are warm, friendly and many speak English.

Honduras is a Constitutional Democratic Republic with three independent branches of government, the Executive, the Legislative and the Judiciary to provide checks and balances to any single concentration of power. Elections, like the United States are held every four years for president and his three, yes three vice presidents! I do not even want to know why they would need three VPs.

The currency in Honduras is the Lempira and is named after a national hero that led the unsuccessful resistance to the Spanish conquistadors. One US dollar equals about nineteen Lempira or "limps", as everyone calls them, and when you buy locally and see all the prices in hundreds of limps it confuses Americans at first, but just divide by twenty and you will be pretty close.

Guanaja Honduras, in fact all of Honduras, lies in the tropics and while temperatures are affected by what elevation you are at, generally speaking Guanaja temperatures range from roughly seventy degrees at night to about eighty five degrees in the day time. This would be the average for the year around. The rainy season is from October through January with the average for the year at about ten and one half inches per month.

This Bay Island has a lot to offer in the way of outdoor activities. Protected by the world's second largest barrier reef, this has been a hot spot for scuba divers and snorkelers for years. Utila, one of the other Bay Islands, boasts a large population of whale sharks. This is the world's largest fish measuring in at forty feet. Just imagine swimming with one of those guys! The whale shark, fortunately, only eats plankton so swimmers have nothing to fear from this gentle giant.

Fishing is also terrific with a lot of migratory fish swimming through these Caribbean Sea waters and, for the fly fisherman; bone fishing is world class in the flat areas around Guanaja. Truly something for every type of angler!

Guanaja is the tallest of the Bay Islands with the highest elevation being at sixteen hundred feet. There are some terrific hiking trails around the island and several fresh water waterfalls. Perfect for drinking or swimming!

Next time you sit down and think about where you will spend your golden years consider a small island in Central America, Guanaja Honduras, it may be the perfect answer!

--

Denise Clarke a retired Paramedic, is now a blogger, writer, photographer and internet researcher.

Where the heck is that, you ask? Well, Guanaja is a small island in Central America, located about forty miles off the Honduran coast in the Caribbean Sea. Honduras shares its borders with Guatemala, Nicaragua and El Salvador. To make things even simpler, hop on a plane in Miami and in 1 hour 55 minutes you will be there! COOL! If you go via TACA airlines they even serve food and drinks! My kind of travel!

Actually, there are three main islands that make up the Bay Islands of Honduras, Roatan, the largest and currently very popular on the cruise ship circuit, Utila, the smallest, known for its whale sharks and Guanaja, which is the tallest of the three, has its own fresh water source from the mountain streams and no roads for cars. There are dozens of other, smaller cays that dot the Caribbean in this island chain and many privately owned.

Guanaja, pronounced Gwa-nah-ha. I first heard of this Bay Island about five years ago. Recently I began researching the possibilities of retirement there. Let's face it folks, you do not want to outlive your money!

The Baby Boom generation, born between 1946 and 1964, are a new generation of retirees. The Boomers want adventure, they want bang for their retirement buck and many are willing to seek out retirement in a country other than the United States to find it.

If you want to lead a fairly active lifestyle you might want to go white water rafting, hiking, fishing, scuba diving or snorkeling. The Bay Islands are surrounded by the world's second largest coral reef and the pristine water of the Caribbean Sea. Maybe you want to slow down a bit, Honduran beaches, waterfalls, lakes, and cloud forests provide beautiful settings for spas and retreats.

Prices are quite reasonable for property on Guanaja, it seems that this little tropical gem has not yet been discovered by the masses, so much the better for us! Property taxes are so low that it is almost embarrassing. A two hundred thousand dollar home will run you less than two hundred dollars a year, YIKES! Sign me up!

Need a little help at your hacienda so you can enjoy your retirement years? Have you considered a cook or a gardener? This type of worker will only set you back about eight dollars a day US. The average American can live "large" with a small pension of $1,000-1,500 a month!

Medical care is located in Savannah Bight located on the island or a clinic is a five minute boat ride to Bonacca Town. For Emergencies, you have a state of the art hospital in La Ceiba on the mainland, forty miles away; most of the doctors there have been trained in the United States or Cuba.

As the Baby Boom generation reaches retirement, social security is uncertain and we know that our new "fixed" incomes will not really cover the increasing costs to live in the US in the style to which we have become accustomed. The more I research, the more I think that Guanaja Honduras, truly is a Bay Island Paradise.

--

Denise Clarke a retired Paramedic, is now a blogger, writer, photographer and internet researcher.
Gasification Information - What the Heck is that?

Gasification is a process that converts materials containing carbon such as petroleum, coal or biomass into carbon monoxide and hydrogen. This is done at extremely high temperatures, up to 2,000 degrees centigrade with synthetic gas being the result. This syngas is a fuel all by itself.

Syngas is primarily carbon monoxide and hydrogen (more than 85 percent by volume) and smaller quantities of carbon dioxide and methane. Syngas can be used as a fuel to generate electricity or steam, or as a basic chemical building block for a multitude of uses. When mixed with air, syngas can be used in gasoline or diesel engines with few modifications to the engine.

Basically, gasification is a very efficient method for extracting energy from many different types of organic materials, and also used as a clean waste management. Several gasification processes for treatment of waste are under development as an alternative to the old incineration technique. With incineration the temperatures only reach nine hundred degrees centigrade and it tends to leave a lot of unwanted residue such as slags, ashes and filter dusts that can harm our environment. To dispose of these products is extremely expensive.

The advantage of gasification, or thermoselect gasification, is that it is an environmentally clean way of disposing of waste and in addition it generates energy in the process. Biomass gasification, usually not a useful fuel in itself, is one of newest technologies. Instead of filling up our landfills and oceans with our waste products, simply put, the waste material is compacted and then burned at these super high heats and the end result is a win - win for our planet. Our atmosphere does not suffer from pollution and in return we get usable energy sources.

Gasification of fossil fuels is currently widely used in many industries to generate electrical power, however almost any type of organic material can be used as the raw material for gasification, such as wood, biomass, or even plastic waste.

A major goal for waste gasification technologies is to reach a positive electric efficiency. In other words, the high efficiency of converting syngas to electric power is counteracted by the large power consumption it takes to processing the waste.

There are seven facilities operating successfully in Japan at this time.

We need to investigate Thermoselect Gasification for our communities before it is too late and our landfills are full!

--

Denise is a retired Paramedic / Firefighter. In 1997 she was honored to work a motorcade medical unit for Vice President Al Gore while he visited southwest Florida. That was the pivotal moment when she really became aware of the environment and the issues surrounding it. Since retirement, she has become an internet researcher and blogger on many issues that she is passionate about.

When was the last time you thought about your garbage man, I mean really thought about what he was doing and the important role he plays in our daily lives?

We consume and use and throw away all sorts of things like clothing, electrical appliances, paper products, food waste and many other things that no longer have meaning to us. Most of us just think as far as the garbage can that we tow out curbside a couple of times a week, and then magically the stuff just disappears! Cool, huh?

Well, maybe not so cool after all. Where does it go to? Some communities have their own landfills, most times we know exactly where they are located by the wonderful aroma that emanates from them on the warm summer days, and when the wind changes direction, everyone gets to enjoy it! Other communities don't have their own landfill so they pay some other community to host their waste. YIKES! What about when the landfill, fills up? They all eventually do, you know. What then, make a park for our children and grandchildren to play in? Doesn't some of the waste material linger and contaminate the surface soil. I do not know all the answers, but I do know that we have to ask the right questions.

Some communities have decided it is even better to tow the waste way out into the ocean and then slip it over the edge of the barge, hoping it will sink and never be seen again. Right! How many times have you gone to the beach and seen all the interesting objects that have come ashore after a storm? I never knew that tooth brushes could swim! How do they end up on the beach? Did someone have an overwhelming desire for oral hygiene while sunning themselves and then were careless and left them behind? I do not think so!

Are their options for a world drowning in waste products? What about burning the waste at such an extreme high heat that nothing toxic remains and we make energy as a byproduct? It is called gasification, Thermoselect gasification, to be exact. It is a patented method of high heat, up to 2,000 degrees centigrade, where the waste material turns into a synthesis gas that is a terrific source of energy. In addition, there is clean water and some metals that are recovered during this thermal process. This sounds like a great direction to go.

We need to ask our community leaders why they are not considering something like this process for our waste management needs instead of simply putting our heads into the sand, or landfill, in this case.

Talking trash is serious business. We need to do something before it is too late!

--

Denise is a retired Paramedic / Firefighter.
Health and Wellness Product, are YOU a Chocolate Mess?

Are you a chocolate mess? Health and Wellness Product has uncovered some fun and interesting information on one of the most popular confections.

Chocolate comes in many forms depending on what the manufacturer does with the cocoa beans and the chocolate liquor. Dark and bittersweet chocolate, to the yummy, but not as good for you milk chocolate, to white chocolate which seems to have none of the chocolate benefits, except maybe raising your caloric intake.

Studies are being done as we speak to investigate the health benefits of dark chocolate. The German research is revealing that a small amount of this tasty treat can lower your blood pressure significantly if eaten correctly and not with overindulgence. In other words, it is not a license to go crazy eating chocolate in an attempt to stabilize your BP, but to substitute another yummy treat that normally fits into your diet with a bit of dark chocolate. In addition, the Japanese have done some research on blood sugar levels and insulin with mice. I know, we aren't mice, but these are some of the first studies regarding dark chocolate and blood glucose levels. I am looking forward to their further studies! Over twenty million people in the United States have diabetes and that is a whopping seven percent of the population. Billions of dollars are spent on medical care and prescription drugs, would it not be funny to find out that a tasty bit of healthy chocolate could help save the day?

Some of the fun myths and facts of chocolate are:

Chocolate is known for giving a person quick energy. A single chocolate chip provides sufficient food energy for an adult to walk 150 feet. It has been said that Napoleon carried chocolate with him on his military campaigns for a quick pick me up.

Chocolate is an aphrodisiac for women. The jury is still out on this one. It has not been medically proven that this is the case, but chocolate sure does make me feel good all over just like my other friends who are chocoholics. Chocolate contains hundreds of chemicals including the feel good stimulants like Caffeine, Theobromine, and Phenyethylamine. I know that if I feel good then who knows what could happen in the romance department!

Remember the famous shower scene in the Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho? The scene with all the blood was actually chocolate syrup, YUM! No wonder it took seven days to shoot the forty five second scene!

Cacao beans were so valuable in ancient Mexico that the Maya and then the subsequent Aztec and Toltec civilizations used them as a means of currency. WOW! Just think, you could pay for your next phone bill with Hershey kisses!

Chocolate is addictive. Hog Wash! Even though it may feel like my head is going to spin around like Linda Blair in the Exorcist, chocolate is not addictive in the way that cocaine or heroin is.

I grew up celebrating Thanksgiving. Most Americans in some way, shape or form tend to hold this holiday very dear. Thanksgiving is one of the busiest traveling times for the airlines and the highways. It is not a specific religious holiday, although many people attend the church of their choice to give thanks to their God for all their blessings. In all, Americans use this day to enjoy the fellowship of their family and friends, do wine food pairing, eat a lot of turkey, ham and pumpkin pie and of course, watch the Macy's Parade on TV! It is a perfect day for wine food pairing. Traditions that we all love and take for granted.

I live in an international household. My husband is from Austria, not to be confused with Australia where they have kangaroos, and over the years I have fully trained him in the ways of Bird Day! We have many Austrian friends that visit the United States every year, but they don't understand the concept of this holiday and wonder, why all the fuss.

Last year, I took the opportunity to have a Thanksgiving training session for these Austrian folks. We invited three couples and instructed them to bring only wine, something that would pair nicely with turkey, that I would prepare all the food. After all, I couldn't chance having a stray leberknoedel, or liver dumpling, sneak in!

I chose the fresh turkey with care and made my Mother's special stuffing that she got from her mother. I prepared my favorite sweet potato casserole that I have perfected over the years with crushed pecans and marshmallows. My mashed potatoes are very traditional and I even use my Grandmothers manual potato masher. It is all about tradition and the warm, fuzzy feelings that they evoke. As I bustle about the kitchen with all my preparations I sip a flute of Champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice, after all I need my vitamin C, and munch on a warm croissant.

The table is set and the guests begin to arrive. The house smells wonderful! It is the kind of smell that can not be duplicated in a spray bottle and everyone is anxious for the dinner to begin. The turkey and all the traditional side dishes are passed around, my husband opens a bottle of Pinot Grigio to pair with the meal and I begin the storytelling of Thanksgiving. I tell them of the British colonists that came over from England on the Mayflower to find a better way of life and how the Native Americans helped them learn the ways of the new world. I talk about how so many of these Pilgrims, as they named themselves, died that first year and that if it hadn't been for the Indians that they might all have perished from disease and starvation. The story continues to include that how, after the Pilgrims first successful crop, they wanted to give thanks for their bounty and so this was how Thanksgiving was actually born. Of course there are many more details to the story, but I wanted to keep it simple for the German speaking Austrians. I then bring out my cherished, chubby Pilgrim salt and pepper shakers. This is how the Pilgrims dressed back then I say, and they laugh because the Austrians always wondered what these strange little guys signified and why they were in all the stores!

Thanksgiving is always a wonderful way to do Wine Food Pairing with your friends and family. If you can do something to make it even more memorable, then go that extra mile, that is what this season is all about. CHEERS!

--

Denise Clarke has been passionate about Wine Food Pairing for many years...to follow her blog or to download her FREE e-book go to:

http://www.winefoodpairing.blogspot.com

or to her website at:

http://www.wine-food-pairing.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

What is it about comfort foods that make them, so, comfortable? Is it a personal thing that we bring with us from childhood or maybe a food that we ate while going through tough times? I guess, if that would be the case, then spam would be on everybody's must have list and how do you do wine food pairing with spam?

My definition of a comfort food is something we crave to eat when we want to cocoon ourselves in the comfort of "food love", perhaps a good home cooked meal or memories of that special dish prepared lovingly by a friend or family member. Food high in sugar or carbohydrates, filling our bellies and nourishing our very soul seems to fit the bill. I guess you could almost call it a guilty pleasure.

One of my favorite comfort foods around the holiday season is ham and cheese scalloped potatoes. My Mom used to make this every year when we had leftover ham from Thanksgiving and Christmas. Of course, potatoes were always plentiful around the kitchen.

This rich, wonderful casserole is a mixture of potatoes sliced thinly, bite sized pieces of ham, onions, peppers and canned cream of mushroom soup. Dotted with real butter and sprinkled with grated cheddar this is one of my guilty pleasures. It is easy to put together and I have even learned to use my kitchen mandolin to thinly slice the spuds. The most difficult part of the whole dish is to wait for it to cook in the oven! The last time I made this treat, I paired it with a crisp green salad and unoaked Chardonnay from Heron Hills, located in the Finger Lakes region of New York. This is a crisp white wine which reminds me a lot of Pinot Grigio, one of my faves, and it pairs well with a lot of food.

After a busy day of holiday shopping, what could be better than to call up your local pizza parlor and order a double pepperoni pizza with thin crust and have it delivered directly to your home. Set your table with cloth napkins, light a candle and pair this with inexpensive Chianti served in your best crystal wine glasses. This is definitely a guilty pleasure delight!

The night before any big holiday celebration try treating your self to warm from the oven, double fudge chocolate chip brownies. The cake portion of the brownie will be moist and the dark chocolate chips will still be gooey, OH MY!Pair this with a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile and it will bring out the best in the chocolate as well as the wine. Total decadence!

I could, of course, go on and on about the joys of wine food pairing with comfort foods, but I am sure you get the idea. It is easy and fun to do.

Remember, comfort food does not mean low rent! You can live large with comfort food and your favorite wines with just a little experimentation. So, go out there, use your imagination and let wine food pairing be a part of your life. CHEERS!

--

Denise Clarke has been passionate about Wine Food Pairing for many years...to follow her blog or to download her FREE e-book go to:

http://www.winefoodpairing.blogspot.com

or to her website at:

http://www.wine-food-pairing.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
