Isn’t it amazing that you can buy things in the United States now, without any difficulty from Europe and other international trade points. Deliver them to you, using Shipping Services. Get yourself into the American internet shopping market to take advantage of cheaper goods available in the United States. Over the last eight years, the value of the dollar has declined against the Euro by almost 50-percent. That is why some call the Euro, the Teuro (in German- teuro sounds like “expensive”). Many charges and taxes in Europe don’t exist in the free enterprise paradise of the United States, and hopefully it will stay that way. Meanwhile, you might as well take advantage of a ton of good deals that wait for you. Some people travel to cities such as New York and Los Angeles to go on a shopping spree in person and see the sights. While this is a pleasant vacation, and a fun time guaranteed for the family, hotel costs and meals, not to mentioned airplane flights can quickly add up. So is there an alternative to flying to the United States? You can buy U.S. products online.

Previously, this was difficult because the cost of shipping multiple small items was prohibitive, or impossible, but now a new service changes that. It’s amazing that now with shipping services and mail-forwarding services, you can have a regular shipping address in the United States, and have your internet orders shipped to that address. You get a real street address with an apartment number, not a post office box. Your internet orders to there are then reshipped to Europe. You get the savings increased by having multiple small item purchases, such as electronic goods, clothing, etc, shipped out together in one package for low rates. There’s a small repackaging fee for multiple orders, plus actual shipping cost.

Items such as MP3 players, cameras, computers and other electronic goods can be considerably cheaper in the United States. This service addresses all sorts of problems previously insoluble. Face it, with the bureaucracy of changing currency and doing international shipping, many companies that advertise on the Internet in the United States simply will not ship overseas at all. You can get U.S. purchases forwarded to your European address from companies who normally won’t deal with the hassle. You can do it as a one-time per package deal. It gets more interesting if you are a multi-package buyer. You rent a virtual address and mailbox for a small yearly fee. Then up to five packages can be repackaged in one large package. For the squeamish in giving out their credit card to pay for things internationally online, services can be provided to buy the item you want and ship it to your address in Europe. You can pay by wire transfer.

Or what if you want to do the reverse and sell your products in the U.S.? The same shipping services can store your international products in a U.S. warehouse, and then when you get orders, ship them to points across the United States. What a quick and inexpensive way to set up your business in the U.S. market. From the warehouse, you can ship by USPS, FedEx or DHL.

--
Howard Giske writes about business services including Shipping Services.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Memphis is a strategically located city on the Mississippi River, across from the states of Mississippi and Arkansas. It is an ideal place to start your business with its extensive transportation links, moderate climate, hospitality and famous cultural attractions. You can get your Memphis Tennessee Incorporation, including free forms for your stock holder meetings and other legally essential functions of your corporation. Get a registered agent to deal with all local legal matters and be informed of them on a timely basis, and you are ready to start your business.

Memphis’ population of 670,000 makes it the largest city in the region, and second largest metropolitan area after Nashville, Tn. Memphis is known as a center of rhythm and blues musicians such as B.B. King. He played on Beale St. in Memphis, now location of the tourist attraction, the Beal St. Club. Of course Memphis is the home of Graceland, the mansion and memorial of Elvis Presley, the king of rock ‘n roll.

Extensive highways connect Memphis to the surrounding region, including I-40 that loops about the city and continues west. The city also has excellent water resources, being located over the Memphis aquifer. There are four distinct seasons, with mild winters, although there can be periods of sudden cold.

Memphis is a ideal regional hub for businesses, with connections locally and internationally. Its cargo airport is known as the world’s largest and the hub center for the national and international goods shipper, FedEx. Memphis is also a railroad center, with two major rail passenger stations, and east-west rail crossings of the Mississippi River. The Memphis River port is one of the largest in the nation, known as the International Port of Memphis and extending into Arkansas as well.

Rounding out the attractions of the city, it is the home of the Memphis Motorsports Park, and the National Basketball Association team, the Memphis Grizzlies.

In the early phases of your business, it is certainly cheaper and often more convenient to set up a Memphis virtual office. If you want to rent a Memphis inexpensive office, you can pick a roomy living room-sized office of about 250-square feet, say 14 feet by 18 feet, or in some cases you may only want a little cubicle. In any case, the square foot charge can be as low as $1.35 per square foot, or less, per month. Even if you set up only a virtual office, you still get to use the building in Memphis as an address. You sign a lease, and you get to use the facilities, such as conference rooms. Your mail is forwarded to your real world location. You have a place to bring your clients to in Memphis, not your home office, hotel room, or a bar. When you are in town, you have a professional conference room you can use to meet them, and a place where you can also occasionally work alone with all the office facilities you need. You can use the free Internet, fax, copier and phone facilities, including unlimited long distance calls. Virtual offices can be had for as little as $75-a-month, while private offices can be as little as $100-a-month.

--
Howard Giske writes on real estate and business topics for
Memphis mailbox and Memphis inexpensive office ideas.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Your Memphis Tn. Office Opportunity

There are reasons to want to set up a business in a city where you do not have an actual office. You may want to hit the regional market, of not just Tennessee, but the whole South East United States, through a local office. You may want to have a branch office for a nationwide operation, or the answer could be more personal to your style or business needs. Of course paying rent for full-sized offices, along with salaries for personnel to man them is expensive. An alternative is to have a mail forwarding service with a Memphis virtual office. Then during the bulk of time, when no one from your company is down in Memphis, you can still have your mail forwarded to a street address of an office complex in town. You get same day notification that you received mail. You get the name of the sender. If it’s your bank, it’s probably a bank statement, if it is another bank it is probably junk mail. Don’t you have enough credit cards already? In some cases, you can have your mail opened and the content inside scanned to you, or if it is obviously unwanted junk mail, destroyed. Mail can also be put on hold, if you are temporarily unavailable. These services can make your life a whole lot easier. Mail forwarding is a service that is useful for either companies or individuals, and starts at only $50 a year.
When it comes time for you or your company’s personnel to come down and do some work in Memphis you have an immediate base to work out of. You can secure, with little trouble immediate conference rooms or an office cubicle to work out of, with full fax, telephone, internet and copier service. Who wants to conduct their business from a laptop in Starbuck’s, or even worse, O’Leary’s Bar.? Isn’t that supposed to be for after work?

Virtual offices start at only $45-a-month and include mail services, access to conference rooms and other options. The idea is that if you have forwarding of your mail and your phone calls, or phone answering services, none of your clients has to know that you are not in Memphis. If you want to maintain a small full-time presence in town, there are Executive Suites that feature private offices that rent for $100-$00 per month. You can also get services like phone lines, Internet, furnishing, call forwarding and more. There are also available larger offices of up to 2,000 square feet, which lease at 0.75-$1.20 square feet/ month. You have under one roof, virtual offices, phone answering and forwarding services, mail forwarding and office services. Often sister companies can provide you with Incorporation Services as well.

These types of office services can be ideal for sales operations and professionals. You can gradually increase your presence and facilities as your business grows. For example, these facilities are ideal if you are establishing real estate operations in Tennessee, and want to be at your best when in town to show homes and offices for rent or for sale. Have conference rooms available whenever you need them, and maintain your corporate presence in the Southeast United States.

--
Howard Giske writes on real estate and business topics for Memphis virtual office and Tennessee incorporation

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Getting a Good Deal on a Beach Cruiser

The beach cruiser scene has been heating up recently, with more brands and brighter colors hitting the market. Cruisers provide a very comfortable ride while also being affordably priced. Basic Beach Cruiser bikes are available for under $90, plus shipping, on the Internet. It can be a lot of fun to buy these, and then assemble them the way that you want to, if you have the mechanical ability. All the really tough parts, like the gears are assembled already. Try different types of fenders, from Chrome, to different colors. You can have standard handlebars, or even get chopper style straight handlebars. A plain old beach cruiser bike is good too. I find this to be a great way to go to stores to buy small purchases up to about 1 ½ miles away. I personally don’t like a metal front basket, I think it is not that cute for a guy to have, so I put my purchases in a backpack. Saving gas by avoiding using your car can save you some real money too.

Probably, the best deal is if your neighbor or someone down the block is selling one in a yard sale. Then you are all set to get one for under $30. Beware that once these bikes, like any bike, become rusty, they have to be lubricated. And that means not only the chain and the brakes, but the inner lubrication of the pedals and even things like the handlebars, which just proves the old adage that it is hard to get something for nothing. The key thing to avoid is going into a pro-bike shop and getting some fancy mountain bike or speed racing bike for $500, when you know you are out of shape, and not going more than a couple of miles from your house. It’s a lot cheaper to have the mechanics in a shop assemble your beach cruiser, and making sure that it is safe. You are going to have to get acquainted with your local bike shop if you do any serious kind of biking, if you put on a good amount of miles a week. You are better off saving them for putting optional features on your bike and for help with routine maintenance. Options can run anywhere from electric night lights to rear-view mirrors, to wider fenders that have enough surface to paint some angels or devils on. Decorate the body of the bike with Design labels And a bell or horn can be useful, especially if you have been sneaking on the sidewalk, and you want those pedestrians up ahead to get out of the way.

Be aware that if you are doing any sort of speed biking you must wear a helmet, which is not that much fun. You can wear a helmet with a beach cruiser too, but I think it is optional. Don’t worry too much is your beach cruiser bike has 7-speeds or no speeds, because even in the hilly country of the North Bronx, NY, at the speeds I am going, it doesn’t make that much of a difference. And whether you have multi-speeds or not, you better have a pretty strong pair of legs to get up a big hill, otherwise, either way you are going to end up walking up it.

--
Howard Giske writes about Beach Cruisers and decorating them with Design labels

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Save Money Biking

Bicycles have always been a favorite of children, and adolescents, but adults are getting into the game as well. With gas prices soaring and concern for the environment and global warming mounting, bicycling has become the socially conscious and money saving method of transportation. You can lower your carbon count without sponsoring hand water pumps for people in a Third World country. Plus with baby boomers threatened nearly universally with belly bulge and “too much to love,” bike riding is also a relaxing and entertaining way to get exercise. Classic Beach Cruisers have become the bike of choice for the over 30-years-old set, with their comfortable seats, wide handlebars and wide balloon tires. After all, if you are going a couple of miles only, you don’t really need to be a speed freak, and you can travel comfortably and safely.

Getting a good deal on a beach cruiser can be done without leaving your computer. There are many beach cruiser bike shops online as well as looking an eBay Store. When comparing bike prices, be sure to include your shipping charges. With bike prices going below $90 in many cases, shipping costs can be a factor. The benefits of ordering online is that you can get the best of both worlds from the expensive specialty bike shops and the mass mega-stores. If you order online, the bike is 80-percent assembled and only requires a limited amount of assembly. True, the safest and best option is to have the bike assembled at a bike shop and pay a $15-25 fee, but this also gives you other opportunities. You can order chrome fenders instead of fenders painted the same color of the bike. You can even get specially decorated or constructed handlebars. This can be a weird trip to get into, but with a little expense and effort you can customize your bike in a way to make you proud. You can attach a wire basket, either ordered online, or at a local bike shop. Chain guards can be customized and decorated. And yes, if you really want to be like those wild crazy dudes, with the bike all stretched out, the body stretched lowrider style, and the handle bars shooting up, you can have that too.

So the benefit of ordering online is that you get the cheapest parts possible, yet still get acquainted with the local grease monkeys at the neighborhood bike shop. If you just walk into the local bike shop, you could easily be convinced to buy a bike for $400 or $500, when all you really want is an exercise bike that goes outdoors, and that you can use to buy milk at the convenience store, a mile away. You are going to have to deal with your local bike repair shop after 6-months or so, when those strange noises start and you need to have the bike properly lubricated and serviced. Luckily, it is not as bad as dealing with a car, actually a lot better, but servicing your bike is also necessary.

--
Howard Giske writes about the joys of riding Classic beach cruisers, and buying them on eBay.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

There is planned a huge amount of development for the 125th Street strip in Harlem, the Main St. of Harlem. 125th Street is also facing the changes of the Columbia University development projects and prospective re-zoning. Marlboro Equities is the developer currently construction a hotel at 125th St and 5th Avenue. Vornado Properties will soon break ground on a huge office tower at 125th and Park Avenue. Get into the Harlem spirit by checking out the new line of, I Love Harlem
Apparel.

There has been also been a real change over the past few years in the area of the South Bronx by Bruckner Blvd and Alexander Ave, now known as the Antiques and Arts District. Furniture and Antique stores have been sprouting and lately a deli, print shop and even a café have appeared. Alexander's Cafe at 129 Alexander Avenue was a stop on the December 5th 2007 Bronx Cultural Trolley. Chris Dimitriyadi prepared special three dollar specialties for the evening: carrot cake, beef stew, and tiramisu (along with live music) and it’s a pretty and comfortable place to stop for breakfast, lunch, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, for dinner, or order at alexanderstogo.com, call (718) 993-5281. Chris has only been in business at the location since July 2007. He feels comfortable at his café in the South Bronx, or now as it is known “Sobro.” He has a steady stream of clientele coming for meals or just coffee, or expresso and cakes
Other distinctive shops include the furniture upholsterers around the corner on Bruckner Blvd., Custom Design Studio, at 49 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10454, 718-665-0777 / 718-993-8370, 718-665-7896 (fax). Denise and Enrique Cruz specialize in custom furniture upholstery,, antique furniture re-upholstery, and drapes at customers request. Custom Design Studio has been in business for 18 years, and many of their prices are much lower than downtown Manhattan. New York magazine wrote in 2005 that "Custom Design Studio may be the best-kept secret in the trade."
Kelly’s Furniture, at 26 Bruckner Blvd. has a large showroom and has a neighboring building undergoing renovations. Classic Antiques is a small but rewarding antique destination, with mahogany dressers and dining room sets, at 21 Bruckner Blvd., 718-401-9345. Angel De la Cruz operates a factory dedicated to preparing custom canvases for artists. Angel and his three full-time employees stretch and prime specialty canvases of all sizes that are sold through custom orders at art supply stores and also to individual artists, call at 718-665-3814. Recently opened at this location, Joseph Cofer's fine art gallery is filled with colorful tropical paintings and prints by himself and by other artists that he represents. Rainbow Graphics also provides fine art reproduction, photo printing, logo and graphic design, at 39 Bruckner Blvd (entrance on Alexander Ave), Bronx, NY 10454, 718-585-6869.
Check out Bruckner Antiques (37 Bruckner Blvd at Alexander Ave; 718-292-6028) in business since 1979.
Your Changing Career in Memphis, Tennessee

Are you starting your own business and need to save cash? Do you want to avoid committing yourself to large rental and start-up expenses for an office? In Memphis, Tennessee?

By using
Memphis Executive Suites, you can decide how much office space you need, and not be saddled with huge startup costs. But, what if you want to run your business from your home and through cyberspace? You can still have the advantage of having an official looking mailing address, and other services which project the image of a real office, including conference rooms to meet clients. Your Virtual Office can be run from the same places that maintain Executive Suite arrangements, so you can shift to a real-world office on short notice.

Your mail is received and picked up from an official looking downtown address. Your phone calls are answered by a receptionist, and upon your instructions either forwarded to you, or basic caller information is emailed or text-messaged to you. You have the option to rent a conference room, or the included option to use one several times a month when you need to meet clients. This has become very attractive to the new home-business and internet business wave. The Web 2.0 is now hitting the entrepreneurs of America.

The virtual company is the company with no office to commute to. These companies give new opportunities to entrepreneurs to get started. But a virtual business also gives you the opportunity to avoid wasting hours in commuting to work and have more time for personal use to be with your family. Internet and communication technology has leveled the playing field. Someone who doesn't have a lot of resources can create a Web site that looks professional. Retail businesses can be virtual-business, either working through eBay or Amazon.com, which handles inventory and shipping needs, and then pays you for fulfilled orders.

Some computer-related companies encouraged people to telecommute. Of course, many people working this way have realized that they could also just start their own business with a virtual office. You can have your phone calls screened by a receptionist. Alternatively, you can have calls answered, with notes about the call for follow-up emailed or text-messaged to your cell phone or blackberry. The benefit of working this way is flexibility, efficiency, and little overhead. Many days such entrepreneurs are involved with instant messaging, text-messaging and emails with clients. You can use Skype for free calls around the world through the Internet, PC to PC. For many younger people who have grown up in using chat rooms and blogging it is not weird to work with people you rarely see. For some people, virtual companies present a lifestyle where their work day is mixed with their personal and family life in a pleasant stream of consciousness. Learning to do this properly can be tricky. By working with an office center that can monitor your calls when you are not available for business makes this so much easier. The Executive Suite center also has rentable office space with full technology and administrative back-up, so you have the option to switch to an office-based business if your business starts to outgrow your living room. Alternatively, you can use conference rooms and possibly a desk cubicle if you want to maintain a minimal “on the ground presence”.

--
Howard Giske writes about cities like Memphis, Tn and how to get your
Memphis Executive Suites
and virtual business info at Memphis Virtual Office News.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Executive Suites Can Help Your Memphis Business

Across the United States and around the world, a new type of office complex has sprung up known as “Executive Suites”. And they're doing it now, not just in New York, but in good old Memphis Executive Suites, in Tennessee. These offices provide clients with as much or as little office space as they need, often for a 6-month or 12-month lease, but sometimes for much shorter periods. If you want to try opening a new small business, it is not necessary to rent a large office and be saddled with high start-up and infrastructure costs. You can rent space in an Executive Suite office and rent as much space as you need.

Alternatively, you can operate a Virtual business, in which you have a respectable mailing address, you have a receptionist answering and forwarding your calls, but you are operating the business from your home or another location. That’s called running a Virtual Office. Starting a new small business is always difficult. Why not make it easy to at least set up your office by using executive suites or virtual office services? With the Internet, Web 2.0 phase on us, you can put videos on your website and found other ways of “almost being there”. Ads are proliferating on the Internet, from product oriented sites to the ubiquitous Adsense. Using internet and wireless technology, you can be kept to date on what is happening with your business. You can also use conference rooms and other facilities when you need them. You want the process to be a simple and inexpensive as possible. Either an Executive Suite or a Virtual office provides you with the services and space your office needs, at a price that you can afford. By using an executive suite-type service, you get a fully furnished ready to use office.

Millions of small businesses and home-based businesses used these services so that they only get as much of an office as they need. These can be useful for Fortune 500 sales reps, as well as part-time home businesses that don’t have the time or ability to staff an office full-time. Being able to have adequate communication facilities is crucial to maintaining at least a 40-hour appearance of a running business. You can have phone calls answered and messages checked from time to time, so you, the business person can keep in touch with your business.

The really revolutionary change is the use of virtual office services. With today’s array of wireless communications, it is a snap to keep in touch by checking up on phone messages and using text messaging on a phone or blackberry. You get the image of running a professional office, while working from home, or even hundreds of miles away. Your mail is received and forwarded, and during those times that you need a place to meet a client, you can use a conference room just for hours, a day or a week.
By Memphis Executive Suites we mean an arrangement where business owners can rent a ready-to-use office space in the location of their liking, for zero start-up costs and maximum flexibility. In other cases, business owners run a virtual office, still using the address of the Executive Suites for their mail, and possible client meeting space, and also receptionist and administrative services. This is available even in a town like Memphis, Tennessee. This may sound wacky to some, but with web based businesses and ads all over the Internet, more and more businesses are totally based on the Internet. Either an Executive Suite or a Virtual Office option is quicker and often cheaper in the long run than renting a conventional office. Don’t you want an office in a beautiful downtown building, with a nice lobby? If you need storage space, you can always rent warehouse space. State-of-the-art technology is offered in many suites, in addition to high speed internet, fax, mobile messaging, video-conferencing, PC rental, and associated software systems and training.

Virtual companies give entrepreneurs new opportunities to get started, but a virtual business also gives people the opportunity to create the personal life they want. Technology can level the playing field. It has become so cheap and easy to create a Web presence that looks established and professional. Retail businesses can be run on a virtual basis, selling through eBay or a virtual storefront at Amazon.com or other central Internet sites. In addition, a virtual office can gain some real world status, by using Executive Suites, and have an official looking address to receive mail and have meetings with clients. You can have your phone calls screened by a receptionist. Alternatively, you can have calls answered, with notes about the call for follow-up email or text-messaged to your cell phone or blackberry. By working with an Executive Suites office center that also has rentable office space with full technology and administrative back-up, the virtual office has the option to switch to an office-based business, if it starts to outgrow your living room. You can rent a desk cubicle if you want to maintain a minimal presence.

You may want to establish your business presence in North America, South America, UK, Europe, and so on. Working with serviced office space helps to ensure that your new office will already be staffed with experienced personnel familiar with the community, the businesses, and the local language, ready to provide professional assistance to you and your employees. In addition, you will have access to more office space or services when you need them.

Executive Suites include conference rooms and these offices have pleasant reception areas. You get personalized, professional telephone answering services. Of course there is high speed Internet access and mail receipt and handling services. Most small businesses or sales representatives rent office space ranging from 120 to 450 square feet, and parking, and there are flexible lease terms available. Other benefits are multiple copiers, on-site, personalized telephone support/call screening and other administrative and secretarial services. New or used furniture packages are available. A professional support team provides your back office and answers your phone calls, handles your mail and faxes, and relays important messages.

--
Howard Giske writes about cities like Memphis, Tn and how to get your
Memphis Executive Suites
and virtual business info at Memphis Virtual Office News.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The population of New Mexico, which is almost 2 million, is concentrated in the Rio Grande Corridor, which is a rift valley that cuts the state in two from the North to the South. Down the rift travels the nation's second longest river, the Rio Grande. Around this valley are the major cities of the state. Albuquerque is the largest, with 800,000 people in its metropolitan area. Santa Fe, 7,000 feet above sea level, is the capital, and is the third largest city. La Cruces, in the south central area is near the agricultural area of Mesilla Valley, also the home of much chile pepper production. It is home to the New Mexico State University, and is the second largest city in the state with 82,000 people. Taos in the northern part of the state is known for its artist colony and Indian artifacts and crafts production. Taos also has a white-river recreational area nearby and fishing, plus skiing in the wintertime. There’s plenty more places for your New Mexico Incorporation.

New Mexico has a fascinating history of advanced Indian cultures responsible for cliff dwellings and multi storied stone buildings from the 13th century. Beginning in the 17th century, the area of New Mexico was part of Spanish America, as artifacts, and mission buildings and state names recall. In modern times, New Mexico was critical for the development of aerospace in the United States. It was an area that encouraged new thinking. Robert Goddard, later known as the father of rocketry, set up shop in New Mexico for his experiment in the 1930s, which were attacked and ridiculed until they were shown to be critical breakthroughs. In recent history, New Mexico was the site of the World War II Manhattan Project - the crash project to develop nuclear weapons. There are currently 3 air force bases Kirtland, Holloman and Cannon, in New Mexico, and major national laboratories, Sandia and Los Alamos, which account for a large amount of the economy of the state. These facilities work in nuclear weapons, nuclear energy, and the space program. White Sands Space Harbor, near Las Cruces, is a training center for Shuttle astronauts.

Albuquerque is also the home of the University of New Mexico. Rio Rancho, outside Albuquerque, is the fastest growing city in the state, and is home of a new $2 billion Intel semiconductor facility. Private investment funds are investing in New Mexico jobs, together with major state support. A recent large investment was given to Eclipse Aviation, near Albuquerque - a company that combines the passion for aviation of its founder, with a NASA initiative to develop efficient lightweight engines, and now produces small planes for private flights. Virgin Galactic, a company which plans to offer sub-orbital, and later orbital, spaceflights to the paying public will locate near Upham in southern New Mexico, and will establish its worldwide headquarters in New Mexico.

The federal government hires one out of every four New Mexico workers - this includes the U.S. Military, National Parks Service and National Forests. Agriculture and livestock breeding are also a large part of the state's economy, as is extensive mining, and tourism. There is no sales tax, but a gross receipt tax. The top personal income tax rate is 5.80%, and the top corporate income tax rate is 7.60%. There is no estate or inheritance tax.

--
Howard Giske writes about how to get your
New Mexico Incorporation
and other business info at Inc Paradise

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
