After applying skills, expertise and aesthetic vision in architecting static web pages, they need to be converted into CSS/HTML. While many designers choose to do the coding themselves, there are many others who outsource it to the conversion companies. Outsourcing for HTML/XHTML/CSS might not necessarily emphasize the lack of coding skills. Few designers may not possess Professional PSD to HTML, XHTML Conversions skills, but many-a-times they have copious work design orders in their kitty and need to focus entirely on the designing part. The press of time forces them to get the coding done from HTML/XHTML conversion companies.

If you are a novice in availing Professional PSD to XHTML/CSS conversion, there are few points for you to remember. Make sure that the HTML design has all the following features:-

•	Cross Browser Compatibility- Ensure that the HTML/XHTML/CSS conversion is friendly with all major browsers like Internet Explorer (6 and 7), FireFox, Safari, Opera, etc. If the coding doesn’t match with any of the browsers, it would result in sheer uselessness of Professional conversion.
•	Hand coded XHTML Strict markup- When they convert PSD to HTML, make sure that the codes are hand written, with no automated tools to ensure optimized codes. Also ask for the source files with the delivery of your work.
•	Fast Delivery- The slicing doesn't take much time, though the conversion depends upon complexity and length of the page(s). Generally however, a professional conversion company ought to offer you the XHTML/HTML/CSS designs in a maximum of 8 business days. So when you are in hurry, do not settle for a conversion company that proposes lengthy delivery dates.
•	W3C Validation- Check the markup validity of web documents in HTML, XHTML, etc., with W3C Validation.
•	Source Files Format- It’s not necessary that your input files should be in PSD only. Most of the companies now accept files in JPEG, JPG, AI, PNG and others to XHTML. Many London based Conversion companies also accept PDF as the source files for conversion.

The coding is as much a technicality, as it is an art. All the coders can do the coding, but then it’s just the matter of “How”. A professional company would convert PSD to XHTML designs including all the above mentioned points, while also compiling with state-of-the-art solutions. So when you are availing the conversion services, assure that you get the true value for your money.

--
Author Bio: Rakesh is an associate editor to the website webbrandz.co.uk.

Healthcare professionals are subjected to stressful work environments, both physically and mentally. Healthcare workers involved in lifting or shifting of patients or equipment are most likely to develop injuries. However, there are many other tasks that can contribute or cause injuries to healthcare professionals. CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has stated that occupational injuries have risen dramatically in the healthcare field, over the past decade.

Work related stressors can often lead to a variety of disorders which are commonly known as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). According to the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), musculoskeletal disorders can be defined as “injuries and disorders of the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, joints, cartilage, and spinal discs.” MSDs usually develop over a period of time and mostly affect neck, upper limbs and lumbar region. Healthcare professionals sometimes fail to realize that it could be work related and therefore often ignore it. According to an estimate by OSHA, the average cost per MSD incidence is $12,000 and does not include surgery cost. This figure could shoot up to $43.000 if surgery costs are included. Even if the cost factor is overlooked, it would be very difficult to ignore the diminished quality of life, a direct result of MSDs. It is therefore imperative to better understand workstation equipment and use ergonomically designed equipment.

More often than not, work related task induce improper posture and is the main culprit behind musculoskeletal disorders. Physicians often endure long seating hours and encounter sustained or repetitive twisting of neck, wrist and trunk. Such physical stress and discomfort can mainly be attributed to improper design of seating equipment. It is therefore imperative to have ergonomic exam stools which are designed in accordance to the needs of healthcare practitioners. The following factors should be kept in mind while choosing exam stools:

Adjustability: The stool should feature a pneumatic height adjustment mechanism to ensure optimum comfort.

Stability: The stool should have a five star base to facilitate even weight distribution and enhanced stability.

Mobility: It is imperative to check that the stool incorporates the right type of caster/glides depending on the floor it is intended to be used on.

Durability: The stool should be easy to use and durable.

Depending on the requirement, you could also opt for a stool with an adjustable and upholstered back rest to enjoy an ergonomic fit. However, to enjoy a healthy lifestyle you should always remember that ergonomics does not begin and end at work. It should be interwoven in all aspects of your life. Heath is wealth!

--
Author Bio: Rakesh is an associate editor to the website sourcemedicalequipment.com.
Stools are increasingly becoming an important and popular form of seating at work and home. Stools are available in different shapes and sizes, and can be easily sourced from various seat manufacturers. Ergonomically designed stools, along with proper seating posture, play a crucial role in reducing musculoskeletal disorders. Improper design of stools can induce injuries and this could act as a constant source of discomfort. This in turn would compel users to make frequent adjustments, which is both frustrating and waste of valuable time.

The word ‘stool’ was synonymous with three legged seating equipment, especially designed to spruce up the interior. The use of stool has not changed dramatically but it has evolved significantly to include aesthetic and comfort.

Healthcare professionals such as physicians and most of their counterparts spend a majority of their time sitting. Stools are one of the most common sitting equipment in the healthcare sector because it offers versatility and choice.

Retro (retrospect) themes are fast becoming common at work and home. People are beginning to like retro furniture and this trend is set to continue. In the recent times, the word retro has been tossed around quite generously however some people are still mistaken about it. Retro furniture is designed to give a classic look and does not necessarily need to belong to that era. Most retro furniture that is available now is manufactured by incorporating the principles of ergonomic and offer easy to use functionalities. The retro look is quite appealing and is mostly chosen because it blends perfectly with the ambience. A retro stool therefore provides the optimum balance between aesthetic value and optimum level of physical comfort.

A retro stool is aesthetically pleasing but this does not mean that it cannot provide the comfort and functionalities of modern exam stools. Most of the retro stools incorporate the following design features:

•	An adjustment lever, spin lift adjustment or a 360 degree adjustment ring to facilitate easy height adjustment, in accordance with the user.
•	Fully adjustable backrest (optional) to provide maximum comfort for long hours in a seated position.
•	Is built with heavy duty fire retardant material. Incorporates the use of commercial grade fabric and vinyl.

Retro exam stools are as good as modern exam stools as it meets all the requirements of healthcare professionals, physicians in particular. A retro stool not only satisfies ergonomic seating requirement, it also fulfills the aesthetic sine qua non.

--
Author Bio: Rakesh is an associate editor to the website sourcemedicalequipment.com.

Injury and illness are becoming prevalent in the workplace and based on historical data, it is set to increase at an alarming rate. Musculoskeletal disorders, vision and hearing problems are some of the most common forms of injuries at workplace. Historically, occupational health was only associated with industries dealing in hazardous material but this is no longer true. People working in today’s sophisticated work environment are prone to musculoskeletal injuries. Some of the contributing reasons for rise in such injuries are improper seating posture and unscientifically designed seating equipment. Training may not be a panacea for addressing such risk factors, but will be a step in the right direction, to help inculcate proper seating habits. Also many people perceive sitting as a way to relax, but this is not entirely true as it puts a lot of stress on your back. This factor can be taken care off by use of ergonomically designed seating equipment.

The human musculoskeletal system is made up of support structures such as bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles. Repetitive stress to these support structures can result in injuries, some of which are mentioned below.

•	Carpal tunnel syndrome.
•	Tendonitis.
•	Bursitis.
•	Muscle strain affecting neck, shoulders and lower back.

Ergonomic seating equipment is designed to give maximum comfort and convenience to the user. It provides support to the lumbar region, facilitates correct spinal alignment and reduces repetitive stress. This helps in reducing musculoskeletal disorders to a great extent. On the other hand, traditional stools are not designed with human body mechanics in mind. They therefore end up producing a lot of discomfort to the user’s body.

Ergonomic stools are best suited for space and mobility requirements. Ergonomic stools therefore combine the benefits of unlimited range of motion and convenient spacing. They come in various shapes and sizes such as chair stools, industrial stools, lab stools, work stools, etc. and can also be customized to cater to a wide variety of performance options.

Ergonomically designed stools make sitting an enjoyable experience. It not only boosts productivity of the workforce but also increases the quality of output. With varied options and unmatched benefits, an ergonomic stool is truly a best buy option.

--
Author Bio: Rakesh is an associate editor to the website perchchairsandstools.com.
Getting certified – A worthless exercise or a sound investment

Getting certified - A dilemma that has infected organizations and individuals alike. SEO certification has always been surrounded by controversies and has raised many eyebrows. There is a sea of websites that promote and offer SEO certifications, some of them belong to SEO agencies while some to independent organizations. The abundance of such agencies and organizations makes the entire situation confusing and ad hoc.

The ambiguity of the situation is further compounded by the fact that there is no official governing body for SEO practitioners, hence these courses cannot be cross checked or verified for its genuineness. Due to the conspicuous absence of a governing body, the industry as a whole lack set standards and regulations and depend heavily of self policing. No bureau of complaints and no bureau of compliance, a congenial environment for frauds and cheats. 'May hay while the sun shines' seems to have inspired the lot.

Unlike conventional education, SEO is mostly self taught. People learning search engine optimization read articles related to the field, visit forums, participates in discussions, attend seminars and conferences. They then apply their learning, observe results, make necessary adjustments and then repeat the cycle. Though there are many certifications and courses on offer from the self proclaimed certifying authorities, none of them are universally recognized.

As in any other industry, certification works as an endorsement of your expertise and credibility. Showcasing your search engine optimization certified logo, gives your potential clients a sense of security. However, the certificates on your wall would be pieces of junk if you do not have success stories, to validate your claim of being an expert. From a client’s perspective, it helps them decide upon a company with whom they can entrust their advertising dollar. A word of caution - customers should be wary as these certifications can be misleading. The only safeguard they can expect comes from verifying results achieved by the company in the past. Also, if I were a customer I would probably go to the certifying SEO agency to get my work done, rather than employing the certified agency. Why would someone settle for the second best when one can get the best?

One question that I think has been left unanswered is that who certifies the certifying agency or organization. The answer to the question is plain and simple – no one. I don't hold any grudges against these firms but the question still needs to be answered to establish authenticity. Search engine marketing industry is more than a decade old and having a certifying authority in our midst still sounds like a far fetched dream. It’s about time to form some sort of a consortium and iron out difference to establish a global framework of rules and regulation. Getting search engines to endorse it would prove to be a mammoth task but is unavoidable to ensure sound framework.

Until and unless Search engine marketing industry decides on a set of standards which is endorsed by search engines, these certifications will only have cosmetic value.

--
Seo India: Sanjeev Pandey is associated with kneoteric for seo services india, internet marketing, seo services related activities.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

To err is human and thus forgivable, if the mistake is done unintentionally. As human beings we have been empowered with the ability to judge things contextually. Machines on the other hand run on algorithm, a compilation of instructions which govern their functioning and hence cannot draw relevance to context. This inherent characteristic of human beings and machines create a situation which is equally good and bad.

The good bit first. Working on set instructions make machines unbiased. It would judge a given situation under different conditions in the same fashion. A human being, on the other hand, might judge the same situation differently under heterogeneous conditions. Apply this to search engine marketing and search engines, and we have a situation in hand wherein everyone is judged by the same yardstick.

Search engine optimization is mostly self taught and thus different seo professionals approach things in varied manner. The Internet marketing industry is yet to form consensus on rules and regulations which would govern the industry. What we do have is a rough classification of SEO practices which are classified as white hat, black hat and grey hat. Though search engines provide guidelines on what is acceptable and what is not, however, a practice that might be considered ethical by one may be deemed as unethical by another. Many organizations and individuals have fallen victim to this precarious situation.

The line demarcating the color of hat (white, black or grey) is obscure. Professionals who have been practicing Search Engine Optimization for a considerable amount of time can still not draw the line of distinction. A nouveau in the absence of crystal clear parameters is most likely to falter. Anyone learning a new skill is bound to make mistakes. This act may be unintentional but would attract the same penalty as someone doing fraud. 'Ignorance is bliss' but not in this industry. A small slip up would cost you dear and before you realize, the damage would have been done.

Search engines cannot distinguish between an unintentional mistake and an intentional fraud. It will treat both as spam, and would take punitive action to penalize the offender. The margin for error is non existent as search engines do not give any leeway. Many of us would consider this as unfair but the line needs to be drawn and someone has to do it. Situations like this always claim a few victims, and this would do more good than harm to the Online Marketing business. We all need to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. We should not forget that while there are many ethical SEO practitioners, some dubious and notorious practitioners also exist.

Search engines are not flawless and some of the mistakes and/or fraud will go unnoticed. Fraudsters will keep on exploiting these loop holes for their benefits. As technology advances, spamming will become exponentially difficult but the truth is that it would never become obsolete. The intention of the industry should be to safeguard the interest of firms and individuals who lack knowledge due to absence of industry wide standards. SEO industry requires standards, standards that would go a long way in addressing contentious issue like this. We need it and need it fast.

--
Seo India: Sanjeev Pandey is associated with kneoteric for organic seo india, internet marketing, seo services related activities.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Goal of eCommerce Web Design

Before you start to design a winning website you should have a precise idea about the objectives of your site and what all priorities you have to set because from the past experience it has been seen that lots of ebusinesses, which were launched without any proper goals, failed in establishing themselves.

When you go for designing an e-commerce website you should have certain goals and priorities in your mind. You can ask yourself if you want to make a brand and position your company or if you want your website visitors to call you and visit you physical store. To generate high revenue within short span of time could be another goal. Your goals and priorities can be various.

Unfortunate the fact is that, in most of the ecommerce web design we usually don’t get achieve many of these goals. Or you can rather say that many of them are poorly prioritized or misunderstood as a whole. But making it a customer oriented website can change the whole outlook of your business website. So prioritize this as well.

Three guiding factors for Smart eCommerce

If you want to achieve your goals you should take into consideration of these three factors:

Your target
There should be some uniqueness in your site. Which simply means the benefits, features or services you are offering should be different from what your competitor are giving. This will give you a definitive edge in the competition. Distilling your unique value proposition (USP) and communicating it
quickly and clearly on your Website is the first element of profitable ecommerce Web design.

You Should Understand Your Target Audience
An essential part of any business is to understand your market, and Online business is no exception here. You should design your web site for your target audience not for yourself. Your website style and content should be reflected in the context of your customers' immediate needs and desires.

Achieving a Defined Objective
Once you're satisfied with what you have done till now then its time to communicate your USP to the target audience. You should then concentrate on your sales process. For this you can analyze the mechanism of your sales channels, provide the necessary educational steps and requisite product information. And finally design a Website that optimizes action while eliminating disruption, because ecommerce web site works on “One Second Principle”. According to this principle, on the Internet you have only one second to make a powerful impression, one second to establish your professionalism and start building trust and one second to generate the interest of your target audience. So work accordingly and make it easy for customers to buy from you.

--
Shopping Cart Software: Sanjeev Pandey is associated with Cartedge for ecommerce shopping cart solutions & online shopping cart related activities.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

PPC management: the Structure and its Process

PPC advertising is fast coming up of age. It is one of the most sought after online promotional campaign. PPC management is the process of managing your every bid for successful generation of profitable leads. This involves clear cut procedures for monitoring the conversion ratio of your site visitors besides keeping the required checks on click-fraud practices. With a continuous analysis of the ongoing PPC campaigns, one can get a clear picture of the progress which further would help in suggesting necessary improvements for the same. These are some of the concomitant processes involved in the PPC management.

In a PPC Ads campaign, you are required to pay some amount for every click that you receive through the searchers. And it’s based on the bids that you have won for the specific keywords – you get your site listed in “sponsored listing” at the first page of the search results itself. The PPC campaign is designed solely to increase traffic and finally increase ROI. Bidding gets competitive for the most sought after keywords or the phrases. And its important to bid it wisely. A Good PPC management service provider can do the same.

The process of PPC management comprises the following:

*PPC account setup: this can be done in any of the PPC search engines such as Google, yahoo, MSN, etc.

*PPC keyword research: Keywords and key phrases form the basis of PPC management. With an extensive PPC keyword research one gets a fair idea of which is the most sought after keywords/key phrases. The keyword research is also about getting your own list of keywords that you deem right – the one which can ultimately help you connect with your potential customers. There are various advanced PPC keyword tools such as Google Ad words keyword tools. Keyword discovers, word tracker and overture keyword selector tools are some of the most used keywords research tools.

*Creative Ads development: Your site getting listed in sponsored listing will not make any sense if you don't have a good Ad. Reason – others will have the same. So this is another important part of the PPC management since its through this Ad content that you would finally communicate. A good, creative Ad can make the difference to captivate the searchers to click on your site rather than scores beside you.

*PPC bid management: You certainly wouldn't like to pay more for something that doesn't pay back. In fact PPC bid management is all about that. It helps you bid intelligibly for specific keywords. It also helps you balance various costs among terms, Ads and campaigns. The whole idea behind PPC bid management is to bring a balance between optimum keyword ad placement and the cost per click.

*Landing page identification: Landing page is the page where the user will be transferred to once they click your Ad. And this is the key factor that actually decides the conversion rates of your visitors into potential customers. It is important to connect with your visitors and try to convince them why they did the right thing by clicking your Ad. You will have just seconds to convince the same. Hence A good Landing page – that can enrich the visitors Internet experience can probably interest them to give thoughts about the reliability of your site and sticking to it for a little longer duration.

--
Seo company India: Sanjeev Pandey is associated with kneoteric for pay per click services, internet marketing, seo services related activities.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Keyword density describes the number of the times a particular keyword is used in the content or the webpage. It is expressed as a percentage of the number of keywords used to the total words used in the content or the webpage. It is one of the important things that Google Crawler takes account of while ranking the pages in the search engine pages. This is an indication of how relevant your content would be for the keyword that is being searched. But, a word of caution here - over using of the keywords with just the intention of boosting your rank get you penalized and you might lose the rank because of the same. Hence one has to take care of the optimum keyword density that can be used in a single page.

For instance - over repetition of the keywords after keywords when detected by the search engine crawlers can mark your site as either an artificial site or as a spam site. This will ultimately cost you your ranks.

Hence one needs to take care and avoid overusing of the keywords with the sole intention of getting rank. Make your contents relevant instead. This would probably give you a good impression for the people visiting your site and which might infect interest them to repeat their visit.

How to collect you keyword density?

If you have content with 100 words excluding the HTML codes used in the web page, and your keyword appears five times in the content. The keyword density is got by expressing the number of the times the keywords appears (say 5 here) as a percentage of the total number of words in the content (say 100 here). Hence the overall keyword density would be 5 divided by 100 = 0.05 or which is 5%.
Usually, Search engine crawlers limit the use of keyword density between 3 to 5%. And once this limit is exceeded, and then there is a fair chance

that the search engine might deem the certain web page as spam.
So to be on the safer side and to make maximum use, keep your keyword density within 3 to 5%.

A simple way to check the keyword density is through word processing software such as Microsoft words or word perfect.

1. Copy and paste the content of the page you want to find the particular keyword density.

2. Select all and using the 'word count' feature of the software (MS word) in the 'Tools' menu bar you can count the number of words in your selected content.

3. Using the find function in the edit menu, click on the 'replace' tab and type the keyword for which you want to find the density. Just 'Replace' the keyword with the same word, so that your text doesn't change. Once you are done through this, you will get a count of the number of the times the keyword has been replaced.

Now you can use this to easily find your keyword density.

--
Sanjeev Pandey is associated with kneoteric.
