The Wireless PHONEJack from RTX is going to be a sure hit in the consumer electronics industry. Why should it not? After all, it allows any kind of telecom device and gadget to be wireless. And those who have been able to try out the Wireless PHONEJack found the device to be simple and very effective. It is not that expensive for the function and comfort that it can give you.

What the Wireless PHONEJack does is that it acts as a phone line extension. This is a good solution especially when you have no phone socket available near your telecom device. Another function of the Wireless PHONEJack is that you can use this gadget to connect remote phones to VoIP ATAs. Meaning, you now can use the Wireless PHONEJack to connect any telecome device like your analogue phone, fax machine, conference phone, or answering machine to a PSTN line or your VoIP ATA.

Once you have successfully connected the Wireless PHONEJack, the device allows you now to use the wireless phone network within a range of 50 meters from the base. This is because of the DECT radio technology that it has. And, you also are allowed to add up the phones to make a system. You can add up to four new phones and still use them within the 50 meter range. But you see, the good thing is that you are not going to be running meters and meters of cables to make everything work.

If you are interested, the Wireless PHONEJack is sold in Europe for 65 Euros, in Australia for $100, and the United States for a price tag of $90.

--
Jill, is a 32 year old native of Ireland, has been specializing on iPod-related articles, Apple iPods, iPod Mini, iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano and all fresh iPod News.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Checking your voice messages is fairly easy now. You see, American Telecom Services, Inc., or ATS, has already sent out to the market a new blend of DECT phones. This one is called the DECT 6.0 Pay N’ Talk phone. And it allows you to check your messages anywhere you would like to – as long as the handset you are using is in the system of the base.

This is most certainly a good thing. After all, many DECT phones and even some cordless phones that can be expanded by adding additional handsets can only give you access to your voice messages if you use the base. However, with this one, it does not matter which handset you are using.

Many people have found this new design from ATS to be very functional. You see, you do not need to go back to the base system just so simply check your messages. In fact, you can go on with your work wherever you may be in the house or in the office as you check any messages left for you. And what’s more is that this whole new system is very easy to use. Using this would be just like having a voice mail in your network without the monthly charges. And it could also be very economical for you for the main base is priced at around $40. The additional handsets can be purchased optionally for less than $20 each, which is, indeed, a very good deal at that.

Aside from accessing your messages through various handsets, this phone also can be used for over 900 feet of range which is a real good distance. You can expand the whole system with up to four additional handsets. It can be used as an intercom between handsets and you can also redial the last 10 numbers dialled.

--
Jill Carron is a 32 year old native of Ireland and has a knack for research on Ligo news, mobile gadgets, VoIP and Skype and anything and everything about them.
For several years, Apple has been sending out various forms and version of the hit audio device iPod. However, it seems like the company has already reached the end of its creativity this year for there seems to be no significant changes or updates with the device. In fact, the industry has been looking forward to any other new thing that iPod might have to offer the market.

The only change that we all heard about from Apple regarding the iPod was last February when Apple had decided on having a 1GB iPod Nano. And for the succeeding months, Apple seemed to be living in silence and nothing was heard about the product. On this, the International Data Corporation’s, or the IDC, analyst, Susan Kevorkian, assumes, “It’s possible that we’re at a point where the path to taking the next step is less clear and less straightforward, even for a company with the technology expertise and creativity of Apple.” She further says that perhaps the silence from the company that creates the iPods may also be because the company is still in the stage where it has to make a decision on the phase out of its PortalPlayer processor. This, she emphasizes, could lead to further changes for the next generation range of iPods.

As per whatever could happen next, we all would have to wait and see. Though we do know that its competition is surely moving forward while Apple and its iPods are still not moving.

--
jill carron
http://www.podzone.co.uk

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
