The Apple Ipod battery is made out of Lithium Ion. Lithium Ion batteries give out a lot more power than the basic nickel based batteries. They have a longer life span and they are used to give power to lots of different items, such as laptops and cellphones.

If you plan on going on vacation without your Apple Ipod or if you plan to be without your Apple Ipod for any kind of extended period, you should only store it at half charge. If you store your Ipod at full charge, it will lose about 20% of power per year. You will also need to store your Apple Ipod in a cool place during your vacation.

Lithium Ion batteries charge in two stages. During the first stage, the battery will be charged very quickly to about 80% capacity, then stage two will start, finishing off the last 20%. Stage two takes a lot longer to finish, because stage two will decrease the current while holding the voltage at a platue.

If you need to replace your Lithium Ion battery, the best place to do so is from the Apple company. This will run you to about $130.00. Apple will usually only have batteries for newer models of Apple Ipods. If you need to find a battery for an older model, you might need to look elsewhere.

If you are experiencing your Ipods battery charge indicator not working properly, like if its showing that you need to recharge your battery right after you have charged it, or if it shows that there are some time left on the battery, but stops working, then you should update your Apple Ipod by downloading all the latest software. This will ensure that your Ipod is up to date and is working properly.

With proper care, your Apple Ipod will last for many wonderful years.

--
For more information on apple ipods, apple ipod news, please go to:

Apple Ipods

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Cash or Credit?

Since the 1970's people have been saying that cash is dead and plastic will live on forever. Well, its into the new millenium now and cash is still around. It is not used as much as plastic, of course, but it's still here.

when people use cash for their purchases, they can feel better about the fact that there will be no interest to pay and that they can't spend more than they've got. Cash might be sleeping for awhile, but it's not completely gone. Will it be gone in the future? Who knows. I have a feeling it will stay with us forever.

Credit cards have been around for many years now and they have gained quite a following. Credit cards are the fast and easy way to purchase every type of item, from candy to cars. With credit cards, people now have to the power to purchase items over the internet or from another part of the country or world by using the telephone. They can also spend more than they can afford-that's where one of the major cons of using a credit card opposed to cash comes in. The second major con is interest. Interest can pile up on a credit card so much that it's almost impossible to pay the credit card off. The trick is simply to not spend more than you can afford and pay the credit card off as soon as possible to avoid that creeping interest charges.

Debit cards have come on the scene. They will enable the buyer to acheive that item without any interest at all. Most financial institutions will let a debit card be used without any fees what-so-ever. The upside to using a debit card is that the user won't spend more than they can afford because they know the debit card comes straight out of their bank account. Sometimes they may overspend, if they do not keep an eye on their budget. This will pile some overdraft charges onto their bill from the bank, buy once this happens one time, you can bet the debit card user doesn't let it happen again!

Credit cards are very useful and so are debit cards, but they both pose a problem over cash. Identity theft. With cash you dont have to worry about giving out any personal information about yourself, but with credit and debit cards you do. If you credit or debit card gets stolen you can find yourself in lots of financial trouble. If a theif gets hold of your debit card they can and will take everything out of your bank account. If a theif gets hold of your credit card they can max it out, leaving the card holder with the bill. Luckily credit card companies have come to their senses by offering cardholders security against fraudulant sellers or credit card theft. They will not hold the cardholder responsible if the cardholder reports the problem soon. If the cardholder waits to long, they could be held liable.

Is cash dead? Nope. It will be around for a long, long time. But using plastic is still faster and more convenient.

--
For more information on credit cards, credit card tips advice, please go to:

Credit Cards 2006

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Ornamental Grasses can add a beautiful arrangement to your container garden. These grasses have fine leaves that blow in the smallest of winds and will certainly add an extra aesthetic flavor to your garden. These grasses come in many wonderful textures and colors. Some of these great colors are red, purple, tan, pink and white. With very little research, you are sure to find the right grass that will fit will into your container garden arrangement.

Ornamental grasses will bloom in midsummer. They can grow anywhere from 1' to 9' tall, depending on the variety. These ornamental grasses are also great for lining in front of fenses or creating walls.

Full sunlight and excellent water drainage is the perfect setting for these ornamental grasses. They will not thrive very well in shaded areas. These grasses are very easy to take care of, with very low maintenance. They are great for cut flowers. They have beautiful and unusual foilage and can last throughout the year. You will need to apply a layer of compost every spring and put a layer of mulch, about two inches over this. This will control the weeds and help to retain moister. If it rains less than 1 inch per week during the summer months, you will also need to water the ornamental grasses. At the end of every winter, it is a good idea to cut back the plant to stimulate new growth for the summer. If you have Fountain Grass, you may need to stake it every 3-4 years. Some of the other varieties will require you to divide it every 3-4 years. This will encourage new growth.

When planting the ornamental grasses in your container garden, you will need to plant them about 1 to 3 fee apart. This will depend on the variety of your ornamental grass. First till your soil, about 10 inches deep, then add a 4 inch layer of compost. When planting, make sure the top of the root ball is even with the surface of your soil. After filling in the hole, water completely. Soon, your ornamental grasses will begin to grow, adding a wonderful quality to your container garden.

--
For more information on container gardening, planting, rose gardening, herbs, please go to:

Container Gardening

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Credit cards have many wonderful benefits that will help the cardholder along their journey. Credit cards have been around for many years and are used by more than 80% of people. There are many great ways to use a credit card that will really save you lots of time and aggrivation. Using a credit card is fast, easy and fun.

Using a credit card for purchasing products through direct mail catalogs, over the telephone or over the internet is much easier and a lot faster than sending out a check or money order. You will recieve the item faster too, because you will not have to wait for your check or money order to get to the company, then wait for them to clear it, then wait for them to send it. With a credit card, your item will be sent out immediately.

Many credit card companies offer incentives for using their credit cards. There are cash back awards, frequent flyer miles, and detailed reports of all your spending.

Credit card companies offer a buyer protection policy. This policy was put into action after all the complaints they have recieved about credit card theft or identity theft. With this poilicy, the cardholder is usualy not liable for any credit card fraud or theft if they report the problem right away. If the cardholder waits too long, they might have to pay up to $50.00 of any charges made on their credit card. If they wait even longer, then they may be liable for all the charges. Once a theif has your credit card, it won't take them long to max it out, leaving you with a huge bill. But if you report it soon enough, usualy you won't have to pay anything. Credit card companies are always working hard to counter credit card theft, because it is the most common problem. Most credit card companies also offer an online account, where the cardholder can go online and view all their purchases immediately. This way, a cardholder can find any fraudulant charges before their next credit card notice come in through the mail.

Most credit card companies offer a thing called float. This is when you have purchased something, but might need a grace period before an interest is due. This is a great policy to use if you have to use your credit card for any type of emergancy or if you have bought a product and need to try it out for awhile before committing to the purchase. This float policy usually last from 20 to 30 days.

There is a credit card score that you need to be aware of. There are many companies who will let you see your credit card score. Your score is very important to companies. They use your score to evaluate if you are a good risk or not to borrow money. The higher your score, the better risk you are. The more you use your credit cards and the more you pay them off on time, will raise your credit score. People with bad credit or no credit could face the facts of higher interest rates until their credit score goes up to a trustworthy amount.

Credit card companies are in a very competitive niche. They are always trying to find new and different ways to get and keep customers. with a little research, you are sure to find the right credit card for you.

--
For more information on credit cards, credit card tips advice, please go to:

Your Credit Score

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Debit Cards are Used More than Credit Cards

60% of people use debit cards more than credit cards. Between 2002 and 2005 the percentage of people using debit cards grew from 47% to 60%. Now debit cards are the same percentage of purchasing products with cash at stores, 33%. People are using debit cards to purchase many items online too. People are becoming more credit aware as they enter the new millenium. People would rather pay with a debit card because they know that the debit card can take money right out of their bank account to pay for the item. People are more concerned about interest rates than they used to be. Debit cards offer a low cost or no cost to use them by most banking institutions, while credit cards on the other hand can put the buyer into quite a pile of extra bills.

Credit cards have more protection for the cardholder than debit cards do. Credit card companies will not hold the cardholder liable from fraudualnt sellers or stolen credit cards. Debit cards, on the other hand, have very little protection. If the cardholder waits more than 2 days to report any fraudulant activity or that their card was stolen, they could miss out on any type of protection their financial institution could give them. Also, if they wait more than 60 days before reporting, the theif who stole their card or the fraudulant seller could take everything out of their bank account.

Both credit and debit cards are faster and easier to make purchases, but they also have their downside opposed to cash.

It's very easy to acquire a debit card. Simply talk to your banking institution and fill out an application. You will not need to worry about any type of credit check and there are no extra fees involved with getting or owning a debit card. You will get the card in the mail within about one week from filling out the application. There is also a PIN number involved with setting up and activating the debit card. You will get your PIN number through the mail also and when it arrives, you will need to call the telephone number associated with the PIN number. After you answer some questions, you will have to type in the PIN number you recieved in the mail to activate your new debit card.

--
For more information on credit cards, credit card tips advice, please go to:

Student Loans Facts

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

There are three major credit report bureau's who keep information on your past credit history. You should locate these companies and find out whats in your credit report before trying to aquire a credit card.

www.experian.com 1-(888) 397-3742
www.equifax.com 1-(800) 685-1111
www.transunion.com 1-(800) 916-8800

If you are ever denied recieving a credit card, the company who denied you is required by law to tell you the name, address and phone number of the company they got your credit report from. You will need to notify this company within 30 days of recieving your denial notice in order to see your credit report for free. Otherwise you will need to pay a fee before seeing your credit report. Seeing your report is wise to do, because your credit might not be bad, there just might be a clerical error in your report. If you tell the bureau the clerical problem they will fix it.

The higher your credit scrore, the better of a risk you are to lenders. If your credit score is low, you are considered a bad risk. If your credit history is bad, there are a few things you can do to bring your credit score up. You can get an in-store credit card. If the store reports your credit purchases and your ability to pay them back on a timely bases to a credit report bureau, your credit score will eventually go up. The more you borrow and pay back on time, the more your score will go up. It will take time and patience, but eventually you will be considered a good risk for financial lenders.
Another way to build your score is by getting a debit card, which can be had from your banking institution. A secured credit card is another tool for you to use to build your credit score. With a secured credit card, you are going to give the credit card company your bank account number and they will give you a line of between 50 and 100 percent credit. If you continue to borrow and pay this line of credit back on a timely manner, your credit score will rise.

Anyone over the age of 18 and with good income or a good credit history can get a credit card. Every credit card company will have different rules on who will be eligable for a credit card.

Some credit cards charge an annual fee some do not. APR means, annual percentage rate. This is measured by the cost of credit which is a yearly interest rate. This will fluctuate from year to year. Different credit card companies also have different incentives for choosing their credit card. Some have gas cards, some have money back, some have frequent flyer miles. It's best to do your research before signing up for a credit card. Find one that will best suit your needs and your spending habits.

--
For more information on credit cards, credit card tips advice, please go to:

Home Equity Loans Source

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

In the early 1800's, Louis Vuitton began as a luggage packer for the rich Parisian families. He learned his trade well and with some intuitive ideas and a lot of hard work, decided to try his hand at designing his own luggage. His luggage was specifically designed to fit perfectly, while being stacked, in luggage cars. Louis Vuitton created his own company in the year 1854.

Louis Vuitton designed his luggage with such wonderful style and the craftsmanship was superb, that many people took to his luggage and his business started to boom. Even as early as 1854, Louis Vuitton had to deal with other companies making replicas of his luggage. People would buy these replicas, accidently thinking it was the original Louis Vuitton, only to find out later, after carefully inspecting the luggage that it was indeed a fake. Louis Viutton started to put the LV onto the luggage, making it easier for people to know that they have an original and not a replica.

Eventually, Louis Vuitton began making handbags. The first handbag was created in the year 1888. It was called the damier canvas design. It was originally created to carry 5 champaign bottles at a time, but soon gained the popularity to be carried as an everyday handbag. Women everywhere were carrying around the damier canvas design and Louis Vuitton soon realized that he had a great hit with this new line of luggage. Right after this, Louis Vuitton began creating more and more handbags for everyday use.

Even today, companies still try to immitate and outsell the Lous Vuitton handbags, but to no avail. Louis Vuitton is still at the top of the handbag industry.

With its wonderful designs, certain to set the trend for any given year, and its quality craftmanship, Louis Vuitton handbags will be around for many years to come.

--
For more information on handbags, handbag trends, buyning tips, please go to:

Designer Handbags

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Mesothelioma is a cancer that resides in the lungs and is associated with asbestos. Malignant Mesothelioma is a very rare form of cancer. These cancer cells are found either in the lining around the heart, abdominal cavity or the lungs.

Mesothelioma takes years before it becomes cancerous. People from the 1940 and up are just now being diagnosed with Mesothelioma.

Asbestos is the leading cause of Mesothelioma. During world war two the manufactoring of asbestos became more increased due to the fact that the lumber was being used for building ships. Wood was in great demand by the government and companies needed a replacement for their businesses, like construction, automobile factories, building trades, etc. The people who manufactored asbestos knew that asbestos wasnt a regulated product and knew that their workers would inevtably suffer from its consequences. But lumber was hard to find during this peroid and asbestos could be manufactored for much cheaper, thats why it has been in use after world war two and through up to the 1970's. During the 1970's asbestos was outlawed to use by the Consumer Products Safety commission in products such as wallboard patching material and artificial ash for gas fireplaces because the fiber in these products would become airborn during use.

Most people that have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma have been workers who were directly exposed to asbestos, but a few have been diagnosed with Mesothelioma from just living with the workers. The workers would have the fibers of asbestos in their hair and on thier clothing, which would travel in the air and settle in the lungs of whoever came in contact with them.

As with all cancer, the earliest detection of Mesothelioma will give better opportunity on its treatment.

Chest pain, shortness of breath and a persistant cough are some of the early symptoms of Mesothelioma. This is a very difficult problem to find, because it sometimes resembles viral pneumonia. Fever, night sweats and weight loss are some of the less common symptoms of Mesothelioma.

--
For more information on mesothelioma, mesothelioma facts, please go to:

Mesothelioma News

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The Difference Between "Counterfeit Handbags" and "Inspired By" Handbags

Having a handbag is great, but you need to know weather you bought a counterfeit handbag or an inispired by handbag. Getting the originals do cost a lot of money. Lous Vuitton's can range anyhwere from $500 to over $1,000. We all want to save money sometimes, but don't fall prey to counterfeit handbags. It's o.k to buy inspired by handbags, but it is completely illegal for people to buy or sell counterfeit handbags.

Counterfeit handbags are a growing industry. The theif who make these are making tons of money. There is also evidence that the orginizations who make counterfeit handbags are funding terrorist activities.

A counterfeit handbag is an exact copy to the original (or at least as exact as the counterfeiters can get). These handbags are made of inferior products, like cheap leather and poor craftmanship. These handbags also have original "looking" tags, bags and logos.

Of course the counterfeiters try to pawn these handbags off as originals, but beware! Always do your homework before buying a handbag. You need to know exactly what you are buying. There are a few things you need to know before you lay down your money for that handbag.

Look at the stitching. An original handbag will have perfect stitching and the material on that handbag will be aligned right. Sometimes a counterfeit hanbag will have crooked material and loose stitching. The feet an an original handbag are in excellent condition, while the counterfeit may have poor quality feet, or crooked feet. The straps on an original are in perfectd shape, while the straps on a counterfeit handbag might be loose where it connects to the bag. The clasps on an original will be in perfect working order and pay special attention to detail here, look for the logo on the clasps. The logo should be exactly how the original displays their logo, if there is any difference, the bag is certainly a counterfeit.

The original handbag goes through extensive inspections and testing. They look for quality of craftmanship and durability. If a handbag doesn't meet up with their criteria, they wont let it into the public.

An "inspired by" handbag is o.k to buy or sell, because it doesnt have any logo's, tags or anything esle that might have the original handbags trademarks. An "inspired by" handbag will just look somewhat like the original, but not exact. Buying and "inspired by" handbag is a great way to take part in a fashion trend, without spending tons of money.

--
For more information on handbags, handbag trends, buyning tips, please go to:

Designer Handbags

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Transplanting for your Container Garden

The best time to transplant your plants is in the early spring. Transplanting is traumatic for your plants so it is best to do it before they wake up from their winter slumber. You can continue to transplant during the spring, until the leaves begin to show. If the leaves are showing, then you should wait until fall before you start the transplanting process.

Beforer you take your plant out of its planter, check the holes on the bottom of the planter to see if the roots have grown through. If they have, carefully cut the roots away. You need to be careful when taking your plant from its planter, because you wouldnt want to just rip the roots out, this could damage the plant. Root pruning is a good thing to do, because it revitalizes the plants, just remember not to cut the roots too short. When you cut the roots, after the plant is transplanted, it will grow lateral roots, which are more pourous and the plant will be able to gain water and nutrients. Sometimes a plant that has been in its planter for a long time will have roots that grew in a circular pattern. This is not a good thing, because it will make the plant unable to get the proper nutrients it needs. You will need to take a knife and gently cut the roots from the bottom of the plant to the end of the roots, this will enable the roots to grow downward and enable new roots to grow, when you put the plant into the topsoil, enabling the plant to get the nutrients it needs.

Make sure you put your plant in an area that isn't too wet. Roots need to breathe and if you put it in an area that is too wet, your plant will not survive.

It's a good idea to put your plant in at least 8 inches of nutrient fresh topsoil, and water the plant thoroughly. Do not plant neer any trees. Trees will compete with your plant for water and leave your plant unable to get the water it needs to survive. You should make sure you plant it in an area of your container garden where there will be plenty of sunlight.

--
For more information on container gardening, planting, rose gardening, herbs, please go to:

Container Gardening

This article may be used by anybody as long as the reference box and all links remain active.

Thank you.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com
