“Great Jaguars turn heads in the street. They make people stop and pay attention. They evoke instant desire. That’s what the C-XF does and that’s what the next generation of Jaguars will do,” says Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar Cars,

The team that designs the C-XF is the very same team that produced the award winning Jaguar XK sports GT range in 2005, headed by Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum together with Julian Thomson, Head of Advanced Design. They said that the C-XF concept provides a preview of next-generation Jaguars.

Bibiana Boerio Managing Director of Jaguar Cars has also this to say: “The C-XF – and the future generations of sports saloons it signals – reaffirms the direction Jaguar is taking. When we launched the new XK sports car series, we talked about a product-led transformation of the company. We promised that new Jaguars would be beautiful, fast, glamorous and evocative. The new XK delivered on that promise and the C-XF proves that these same values and more are coming in Jaguar saloon cars.”

The new design of the C-XF exudes confidence, purity and efficiency. It also conveys dynamism and movement even when the car is not moving. But the C-XF is not just all about power it also shows the remarkable heritage of Jaguar combining bold, contemporary features exemplifying the evolution that Jaguar has gone through.

Ian Callum explains further, “Throughout its history Jaguar has created some of the most striking, modern and beautiful sports saloons imaginable and our objective with C-XF was to recognize those principle design disciplines. The values that I see in Jaguar aesthetics include purity, dynamism, latent power, balance and modernity.”

Jaguar History Tidbits

It was Sir William Lyons that created earlier iconic model designs of the Jaguar and he demanded that the same aesthetic qualities should be incorporated in producing the Jaguars. And this is exactly where the C-XF’s designing team has taken their inspiration. The new Jaguar C-XF is to be equipped with the most sophisticated Jaguar parts which Ian Callum describes as “the absolute definition of athleticism”.

According to Callum, “Jaguars should be perceived as cool cars… and cool cars attract interesting, edgy people. The next generations of Jaguars will do just that.”

It should be noted that Jaguar has the lowest recorded sales for 2006. It has declined 34% from its Dec. 2005 sales of 2,445 units sold to just 1,553 units sold for Dec. 2006. Hopefully the C-XF can make things better for Jaguar.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration. Every Jaguar interior should have a sense of fun, but we also recognise that technology should only be there when you want to use it. Yes, there is a sense of theatre about the innovations we have chosen to highlight on the C-XF, but there is also an organised simplicity that brings order and structure to every system.”

CX-F is also equipped with 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engine, tuned to generate over 420bhp and 500Nm of torque.
The Cat Dances In XK8 Convertible

The XK8 Convertible concept car that was flaunted by Jaguar at the Detroit Auto Show is making a graceful impact in the auto industry. XK8 exudes sensibility wrapped in stylish curves and elegance.

Auto enthusiasts said that XK8 Convertible got poise, grace and power. Ian Callum, Jaguar design guru said he created the Jaguar XK8's lines in homage to those of Kate Winslet. Callum admitted that his well-received and irrefutably lovely XK8 Jaguar design was inspired by Kate Winslet. Winslet is the lead star of the blockbuster movie Titanic. She was Leonardo Di Caprio's muse in said movie. Enthusiasts speculate that Callum must have admired the lady's lines. Callum said, "[Winslet has] substance, she is not just a pretty face". Evidently, body parts Jaguar XK8 are made to complement the delicately curvaceous shrink-wrapped beauty which is very much feminine. In fact, it is far from the aggressive charisma of Corvettes.

Experts and aficionados alike appreciate the classy and innovative XKR. They said that this is a good sign of life for Jaguar. It is obvious that the automaker is experiencing a remarkable moribund and it needs products to boost its situation. All-new XKR is engineered to wipe away flaws of its clan. It promises lots of things and enthusiasts expect that these promises will not be breached.

The new XK8 is made lighter by using aluminum skeleton and body panels. The typical XK weighs 3,671 pounds while XK8 weighs a lot lighter. This fact has contributed significantly to improve handling of this vehicle. The version is also given all-new Jaguar XK8 convertible fuel injection to make it more efficient and performance-oriented. However, what makes the vehicle stunning is its fantastic design. The 2007 version uses most of 2000 Jaguar XK8 accessories however; it is designed to showcase a brand new look.

The long-hood, short-deck proportions and the oval grille mated to single horizontal chrome bar have subtle touches of previous Jaguar cars. To give the car that powerful look without adding bulks, the automaker used massive wheels. Teardrop-shaped taillights are also utilized to boost the distinctive aura of the car. To improve poise and grace, Jaguar used complementing color schemes, upholstery, and devices. The car can serve as a mighty rival of Mercedes SL-Class and Lexus SC430.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

Are you on the lookout for the newest concept vehicles in the face of the automobile world? Perhaps you have already gone tired of looking at some of the classic collections of Jaguar MK10 parts that you would rather view futuristic or not so ordinary concept vehicles. Well, then the upcoming North American International Auto Show (or the NAIAS) would be most certainly your kind of thing.

There would be quite a collection of concept cars and vehicles at the mentioned event. And the Jaguar brand is going to also showcase one of the newest concept creations in their range. Jaguar calls their new concept vehicle the Jaguar C-XF and the company claims that this new one is going to be a big hit when it comes to design. After all, they do boast that the new Jaguar C-XF is going to show the rest of the motoring world the kind of design vehicles would be having in a few more years.

Those people who were able to take a look at the new Jaguar C-XF concept vehicle now say that this vehicle would actually give the automotive world a clue as per the kind of design the upcoming replacement of the Jaguar S Type would actually look like. The replacement would be known as the Jaguar XF. However, there are also some people who do say that the Jaguar C-XF concept would also be shedding off light on the style of the newest generation of the Jaguar XJ luxury sedan. And experts in the industry do now say that this Jaguar C-XF concept vehicle is certainly going to be one of the most important concept vehicles that the Jaguar brand would be unveiling.

Changes in design have been continuous for the tumultuous Jaguar brand. And the most recent person to actually take the stand on the whole Jaguar line of designing fell on the hands of Ian Callum. Callum is the Scottish designer who is very much known for doing the styles and designs of those vehicles from Aston Martin. And he says, “This is about re-establishing Jaguar. We need to get back to what Jaguar is all about. There is no need to reinvent ourselves.”

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

The Jag in the auto industry has partly pulled the curtain covering its new teaser - the XF. Teaser image of Jaguar XF was released by the automaker to just barely reveal the concept car it will be unveiling at the North American International Auto Show in January next year. The image suggests a "major new concept car" for enthusiasts to look forward to.

All-new XF is deemed the replacement of S-Type, a midsize luxury car which has been known for its versatility, ergonomics and refinement. So far, the minds of Jaguar enthusiasts are reeling. They ask whether the new car from Jaguar would create a bold new design to save the ailing automaker. Some of them think that XF would lead a new design direction and deviate from the usual Jaguar trend. Moreover, they anticipate that XF will tickle their car fancies and satisfy their driving needs.

Jaguar did not give details about its new addition in its lineup however; it confirmed the fact that it will be unveiling the car in autumn next year. According to Jaguar, "Further details and imagery will be sent nearer the time." Also, customer deliveries are scheduled to start in spring 2008. However, the schedule is also subject to automaker's consideration of the current market.

Jaguar managing director Bibiana Boerio said XF will "challenge people to think again about Jaguar as daring and different," and that "if you like the new XK, just wait until you see the new Jaguar XF."

Jaguar noted that all-new XF is the "next stage" of its design era. The automaker also noted that XF, equipped with new Jaguar S-Type parts, will be developed at Product Development Centre in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham in United Kingdom. According to critics, Jaguar intended to put the S-Type out and replace it with XF to pasture.

Jaguar S-Type, in which the XF was based, is an executive car that was introduced for the 2000 model year. It is the revival of the previous S-Type unleashed in 1964. The production of the S-Type will be discontinued next year in favor of the XF. Little is known about the new teaser from Jaguar. However, answers to some queries are found at Ford's websites.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

After the scare of being sold to yet another owner, the Jaguar brand seems not be at any cost affected by the situation. In fact, it just continues to live and thrive and battle it out in the auto industry just like it did before. And at present, the brand is showing signs of more power and even more creations through new vehicle models that the brand is sending out to the motoring public.

There are two vehicle models that the public should be aware about. One is the 2008 Jaguar XJ production vehicle while the other one is the Jaguar XF concept car. It would be very interesting to find out just how these two new ones look like and what unique features do they have to offer? Do they have the best looking wheels in the whole auto planet? Or do they have the most complicated and most high technology Jaguar electrical parts that you may get enthralled with?

So what are these vehicles?

The 2008 Jaguar XJ is actually a sedan and as a production vehicle which has been making its rounds previously, the company has announced that the vehicle would soon be going through a facelift. In fact, some people who have taken a peep at the Jaguar factory have seen the prototype of the upcoming 2008 Jaguar XJ to be quite a different one. It has got a new front fascia and the rear end has also been changed as well. Those who were able to take a look at the interior found it to have been redesigned for quite a bit.

If you are already raring to take a look at this one, then you have to do wait until the Geneva Motor Show which would be happening this March of 2007. But rumors have it that the new Jaguar XJ would also be coming with a new front grille, too.

As per the new Jaguar concept car, the Jaguar XF is rumored to come as a midsized luxury sedan. However, there are not much news as to what this one would look like. The only sure thing coming from the company on this vehicle is that it would be gracing the North American International Auto Show with its presence starting on January 3rd.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

All-new Jaguar S-Type introduced at the Bologna Motor Show carries a brand new name and a stunning appeal. The car promises better look and performance with more value for money.

The latest S-Type is now named Jaguar XF. New Jaguar S-type parts entertained various specification enhancements to create fascinating design, advanced performance, and a more comfortable ergonomics. A number of XF models will also be delivered to customers with a reduced price, thanks to the new pricing from the automaker.

S-Type, a midsize luxury car for the model year 2000, was introduced in the auto industry as a revival of its predecessor which was introduced in 1964. In 2003, a supercharged S-Type R joined the lineup of Jaguar. It boasts Jaguar engine parts that are capable of producing 390 horsepower and can run from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 s (0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 s).

Jaguar S-Type is famed for its individuality, iconic design and sporting performance. Moreover, there is a host of reasons why aficionados make purchases. One of which is the range of 3 engines – from twin-turbo V6 to the 4.2-litre supercharged V8.

For 2008, all S-Types will be incorporating R bumper and mesh grille as part of its striking Jaguar auto body parts. The new S-Type is also engineered to exude poised appearance. It is given upgraded versions of alloy wheels. The interior of the car is also upgraded to complement its new-found charm and power. It offers multi-function seats with non-perforated leather. For the entry-level cars, they are given six-speed automatic transmission, leather seats and a leather-trimmed steering wheel as standard. Also, the Satin Mahogany veneer is made an option across the range.

“From the quiet, refined 2.7 diesel engine to the hard-charging ‘R', the S-TYPE range has always been an attractive proposition. These specification enhancements offer our customers a real value-for-money proposition - to my mind, there has never been a better time to re-appraise the S-TYPE range. Whether petrol or diesel, the S-TYPE delivers a combination of bold, athletic styling and unrivalled emotional appeal underpinned by outstanding driving dynamics,” said Geoff Cousins, UK managing director.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

Looks like Jaguar S-Type is exhausted of carrying its name and decided to bring in something pleasant to hear. For the model year, Jaguar will be dropping the S and replacing it with XF for its new generation S-Type. This information was relayed by Bibiana Boerio, Jaguar chief. Moreover, the S-Type will no longer be an S-Type at all.

The change in name is triggered by the automaker's vision of creating an entirely different car. According to some car enthusiasts, the current S-Type is nothing but plain old boring styling. However, with the introduction of a new name, enthusiasts expect that the XF will be as aggressive and distinct like the XK series. Boerio added that the upcoming Jaguar XF "challenge people to think again about Jaguar as daring and different."

The assembly of Jaguar S-Type styling parts and accessories along with the production of the car will be discontinued next year. In view of such cessation of production, the automaker will be introducing Jaguar XF as the replacement for the S-Type. Neither the information nor details of XF have been publicized. Nonetheless, Jaguar will be unveiling its new pride autumn of 2007. Depending on market, the commencement of deliveries is scheduled on spring 2008.

“Some people find the Jaguar S-Type to be rather hideous. We actually like it, although the design is certainly a tad long in the tooth and more-than-ripe for an upgrade. But this predictive renders its successor, the new XF, due to roll into showrooms in '08. It looks like what would result if Rover commissioned Ralph Gilles' old self to design an Audi. Unfortunate. Let's hope that the artist is off the mark," said Davey G. Johnson, an auto enthusiast.

The new name, as critics say, creates a sense of consistency throughout the Jaguar lineup, with the XJ and XK already sharing a naming scheme. Previously, it was reported that the replacement of S-Type will be made of steel instead of aluminum. Auto analysts conclude that the decision was made to capture a bigger slice of the auto market in less than no time. This is because the former is time-consuming compared to the latter.

Jaguar S-Type competes with BMW 5 Series, Lexus GS and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Hence, XF is also anticipated to compete in similar segment.

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.

The Jaguar brand has certainly gone through various tests and trials. It has gone through rumors of not being a good seller of vehicles. It has gone through financial troubles and has gone through various management changes. However, the brand is still staying firm and is still continuously being recognized as one of the best brands when it comes to luxury cars, vehicles, and luxurious Jaguar car parts<.

Currently, the Jaguar brand has just sent out one of its newest vehicles to a foreign market – the Middle East automobile marketplace. They call the new vehicle the Jaguar Daimler Super Eight and the vehicle comes using finely tuned Jaguar fuel injection parts and durable Jaguar body parts. According to the manufacturer of the Jaguar Daimler Super Eight, this vehicle would now be holding the responsibility of being the flagship of the whole Jaguar XJ range.

The Jaguar Daimler Super Eight may not be a new entrant to the whole auto market game since it has been in the circle for decades already. However, what is interesting to note about this vehicle is the fact that this newly revised and restyled version still holds the kind of luxury, sophistication, statement, individuality, craftsmanship, originality, and spunk that the previous versions have had boasted of.

Dubbed as the most advanced Jaguar Daimler ever created, the newest version of the Daimler Super Eight comes with an engine that has the capacity to hold in 4.2 liters. Plus, this engine is supercharged and is actually a V8 engine. It can generate up to 400 bhp of power. Interestingly, the engine has been mounted using a very unique and lightweight body made out of aluminum. So despite having the right kind of speed, the Jaguar Daimler Super Eight is also not quite loaded by its engine.

On this, Andy Gawthrope, the managing director of Jaguar's arm in the Middle and in the Northern portion of Africa, says, “The Daimler Super Eight delivers the best of everything without compromise. The car is a premium product for a premium customer base. It will give luxury car customers in the Middle East the opportunity to experience the latest in automotive technologies whilst making a discreet but confident statement about themselves.”

--
Michelle Crimson holds a degree in business administration.
