Quest Innovations & Research seeking active investors

The increasing shortages of clean water for human life, health, economies, and ecosystems needs world efforts to save life on Earth This represents a tremendous profit opportunity for the company that can offer the solution..
Quest Innovations & Research (www.questinnovations.net) has found a solution to the deadliest life threatening global tragedy in the history of mankind-unclean drinking water. The company is involved in successful product development of an ultra-efficient atmospheric water unit for one of the promising solutions to the world's water crisis. The most valuable economic opportunity ever offered is now available to anyone who wants to contribute to the water industry.

Clean water is the Earth's most precious resource. According to the World Health Organization, less than 1% of the world's freshwater, or 0.007% of all the water on Earth, is readily available for human consumption. The number of people living in water-stressed countries is projected to climb from 470 million to three billion by 2025. Throughout the world, clean water is polluted, underappreciated and abused. Only 20% of the world's population currently enjoys the benefits of running water. The other 80% have to find it whenever and wherever they can.

Contaminated water is deadlier than any health threat known to mankind. Unclean water kills more than AIDS, cancer, contagious diseases or even wars. Half of all hospital beds in the world are occupied by someone suffering from a water-related illness. In the developing nations, 80 percent of all diseases stem from consumption of unsafe water. Today, one human being dies every 3.5 seconds from drinking contaminated water.

The research of The World Watch Institute has determined that the rising demand for clean drinking water and ecosystem alteration has depleted water supplies, damaged ecosystems, and placed freshwater life at risk of extinction. Water tables are falling from the over pumping of groundwater in large portions of China, India, Iran, Mexico, the Middle East, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. Many major rivers—including the Colorado, Ganges, Indus, Rio Grande, and Yellow—now run dry for portions of the year.
Population growth and global warming will continue to increase overwhelming global water requirements.

Quest Innovations & Research is at the forefront of implementing a new strategy for water resource technology beginning on a local level.
The economic possibilities are endless for the company which can provide a source of pure water. This profit potential is staggering.
The following lists just a few of the income possibilities for the company that develops a way to generate uncontaminated water.
•	Bottled Water Sales;
•	Development and management of water hydration plants for third world countries;
•	Licensing of Water Hydration Plants; and
•	Mobile Water Hydration units for use by military units.
Using extremely limited resources, Quest Innovations has developed a working prototype of its water hydration unit which creates 10 gallons of water per hour inside a one-cubic yard container. The company requires investment to refine the design, obtain patent protection, and complete full-scale development. Once full scale development is completed, production can begin almost immediately.
The company estimates an initial investment of $250,000.00 is needed to complete full scale development and initiate production on a limited scale followed by an investment of $2,000,000.00 to fully exploit the profit potential of this system. After the investment of $2,000,000.00, the company feels profits will fund the necessary expansion to generate a multi-billion dollar program. This multi-billion dollar program is achievable within ten years.
Because of the enormous profit potential of this system, the company estimates that a high Return on Investment will result.

Gerald Flores (questinnovations@yahoo.com)
Quest Innovations & Research
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
for the Preservation of Life
www.questinnovations.net

--
Gerald Flores (questinnovations@yahoo.com)
Quest Innovations & Research
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
for the Preservation of Life
www.questinnovations.net

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Global warming or the greenhouse effect refers to the increase in the average warming temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and oceans in recent decades. The term “global warming” is a specific case of the more general term “climate change” (which can also refer to cooling). Global warming generally implies a human influence. Some organizations use the term “anthropogenic climate change” for human-induced changes.

Too many greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere will increase the greenhouse effect. The most dangerous aspects of the continuing dramatic climatic change is the effects of feedback loops (amplified change). Examples of the feedback loops are Ice/snow, as the earth warms, the levels of ice and snow decrease. This decrease leads to higher temperatures on the surface, leading to more warming. As the earth warms, the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere goes up which is the most powerful greenhouse gas in existence.

The year 2005 was the warmest year in over a century, according to NASA scientists studying temperature data from around the world. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Third Assessment Report projects that the Earth's average surface temperature will increase between 2.5° and 10.4°F (1.4°-5.8°C) between 1990 and 2100 if no major efforts are undertaken to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases (the "business-as-usual" scenario). This is significantly higher than what the Panel predicted in 1995 (1.8°-6.3°F, or 1.0°-3.5°C), mostly because scientists expect a reduced cooling effect from tiny particles (aerosols) in the atmosphere.

Scientists predict that even if we stopped emitting heat-trapping gases immediately, the climate would not stabilize for many decades because the gases we have already released into the atmosphere will stay there for years or even centuries. So while the warming may be lower or increase at a slower rate than predicted if we reduce emissions significantly, global temperatures cannot quickly return to today's averages. And the faster and more the earth warms, the greater the chances are for some irreversible climate changes.

The increased volumes of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases (GHGs) released by the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing and agriculture, and other human activities, are the primary sources of the human-induced component of warming. An increase in global temperatures can in turn cause other changes, including a rising sea level and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation. These changes may increase the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, such as floods, droughts, heat waves, hurricanes, and tornados. Other consequences include higher or lower agricultural yields, glacier retreat, reduced summer stream flows, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors. Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, warming (and sea level rise due to thermal expansion) is expected to continue, since CO2 has a long average atmospheric lifetime.

The number of cars in operation around the world will double by the year 2030. The United States is responsible for 25% of the world’s CO2 emissions which equates to 7 billion tons of CO2 emissions in one year. The amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere in the next 30 years is expected to double or triple.
Deforestation is another main producer of carbon dioxide. The causes of deforestation are logging for lumber, pulpwood, and fuel wood. Also contributing to deforestation is clearing new land for farming and pastures used for animals such as cows. Forests and wooded areas are natural carbon sinks. This means that as trees absorb carbon dioxide, and release oxygen, carbon is being put into trees. This process occurs naturally by photosynthesis, which occurs less and less as we cut and burn down trees. As the abundance of trees declines, less carbon dioxide can be recycled. As we burn them down, carbon is released into the air and the carbon bonds with oxygen to form carbon dioxide, adding to the greenhouse effect. About 860 acres, the size of Central Park in New York, is destroyed every 15 minutes in the tropics.
The rate of global warming and sea level rise will be higher than previous predictions during the next century. Estimated land losses range from 0.05% for Uruguay to about 80% for all in the Marshall Islands.

A 1M (3 feet) sea-level rise would affect 6 million people in Egypt, with 12% to 15% of agricultural land lost, 13 million in Bangladesh, with 16% of national rice production lost, and 72 million in China and "tens of thousands" of hectares (1 hectare=2.47 acres) of agricultural land. This is based on new information released by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, made up of about 2,000 scientists who advise the United Nations, revised estimates of the current forecast in sea levels after conducting new studies on the west Antarctic ice sheet.

Small, low-lying island states and countries with big coastal populations such as the Marshall Islands and Bangladesh could see catastrophic damage from the rise. Global warming is at the root of the increase, say the researchers; as the earth’s climbing temperatures melt the Arctic sea ice and Antarctica.

Around the world, ice sheets and glaciers are melting at a rate unprecedented since record-keeping began. Changes in the area and volume of the two polar ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland are intricately linked to changes in global climate and could result in sea-level changes that would severely affect the densely populated coastal regions.

Glaciers along the southeastern coast of Greenland are thinning by more than 3 feet a year -- possibly because of global warming, according to a study by NASA scientists.

Researchers compared aerial surveys of the Greenland ice sheet taken in 1993 and 1994 with a similar survey taken last year. Their data indicated that parts of the ice sheet near the ocean thinned at a rate of more than 3 feet (1 meter) per year.

"Why (glaciers) are behaving like this is a mystery," said Bill Krabill, a researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. "But it may indicate that the coastal margins of ice sheets are capable of responding quite rapidly to external changes, such as a warming climate." Krabill said if the higher rate of ice flowing into the ocean from Greenland "accelerates or becomes more widespread, it would begin to have a detectable impact on sea level."

All of the scientific data and understanding now point to the critical situation we face: to slow future change we must start taking action soon. At the same time, because of our past and ongoing activities we must start to live with the likely consequences - more extreme weather, rising sea levels, changing precipitation patterns, ecological and agricultural dislocations, the spread of human disease and declining economic health around the world. In the end, failure to solve the global warming problem is not an option.
The application of the new alternative energy and agriculture technologies of Quest Innovations Research will provide the solutions of global warming. The first is an alternative type perpetual electric device that will replace gasoline or diesel engines for transportation. With better transmissions and with more aerodynamic designs, and stronger yet lighter material for chassis will allow a totally non-fuel burning automobile and truck.
More than half of America's electricity is produced from outdated, coal-burning power plants that dump pollutants and heat-trapping gases into our atmosphere. In fact, power plants are the single largest source of CO2—one-third of the U.S. total. Quest Innovation’s solution is to replace the present power grid systems into perpetual electric units that will not pollute the air or waste natural resources. Smaller electric units will also be used for many major appliances such as clothes washers, dishwashers, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners and boilers.
Protecting threatened forests will help halt global warming which can also save us money, increase food productivity and create new business and agriculture opportunities. Quest Innovation’s Research projects of the systematic approach to new hydroponics agriculture and the enriched soil of Terra Preta will increase food production over 800% on less land, thereby saving valuable rainforests. The new water hydration device will provide atmospheric water as an abundant source for crop irrigation. Using the force of water without creating dams will utilize turbine generated energy that will be modified for many agriculture uses in order to complete systems for providing large magnitude crop yields.

Best of all, these solutions exist now. The future is now and awaiting every individual, group, business, community, government or country ready to use new natural G-d given knowledge of technology to provide enough non-polluting energy and rich nutrient fed crops for everyone on our home planet.

Gerald Flores
Quest Innovations & Research
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
For the Preservation of Life
http://www.questinnovations.net

--
Gerald Flores is an inventer and researcher developing new methods of preserving life on our planet,he can be contacted at http://www.questinnovations.net or emailed at questinnovation@yahoo.com
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
For the Preservation of Life

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Necessity is the mother of invention.
By Gerald Flores

The truth is, not all inventions have been beneficial for us and our world. For example, the internal combustion engine is the major cause of global warming because of the emissions of hydrocarbons, which also produces carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, resulting from incomplete combustion. Transportation is a necessity in our society, but it causes more pollution then all other contributors.

The combustion engine has been obsolete for more than 50 years. Fortunately, there are alternative means of transportation that are environmentally safe. The electric or hydrogen cars are viable forms of transportation but the oil companies and corrupt politicians have kept these alternate cleaner energy sources from being further developed and readily available. Greed has helped to destroy progress for this world but times are changing as more people realize how serious the environmental crisis is.

This article is considered controversial because it discusses the fact that our government officials really do not care about the environment. They are more concerned about the profits they are making for the moment and not about the future of the world we live in. It is more profitable financially to destroy this world than it is to preserve it.

If conservation were to become profitable, then we would no longer have a problem. Why is it that all organizations that are trying to save this planet are non-profit organizations? Good question right?! We are helping to unify the efforts of the non- profit organizations for one voice to effectively initiate stricter government policy change to protect the worlds ecosystems. There must be stiffer fines for corporations that ignore their negative effects on our environment because of greed. Human population growth and development are destroying our ecosystems that provide clean air, water and nutrients. The impacts of urban pollution and global warming are increasing in developing countries that cannot solve the growing crisis. 50% of 6 billion people on Earth live on just $2 a day. Bringing together the goals of economic development and environmental preservation must be solved by global cooperation.
The goals of Quest Innovation & Research (see projects section) are to continue to promote global collaboration for the development of new environmentally friendly technology and methods to provide the essentials of survival for the entire world. Well inventions can be a very good thing and "necessity is the mother of invention" but now is the time for inventions that are going to benefit not only us but all living creatures on this planet. Time to put aside childish ways and grow up as a species to evolve into enlightened beings that become the caretakers of all that has been given us. Give each other the respect and compassion that we wish for our selves and all creatures big and small. We only have one planet and if we take care of mother earth, she will continue to take care of us.This link is proff: http://www.questinnovations.net/Page.php?ID=70

Gerald Flores
Quest Innovations & Research
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
For the Preservation of Life
http://www.questinnovations.net

--
Gerald Flores is an inventer and researcher developing new methods of preserving life on our planet,he can be contacted at http://www.questinnovations.net or emailed at questinnovation@yahoo.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The community knows best what it needs and has access to resources for successful project solutions. Mobilizing local environmental problem solving projects must be achieved to offer a model for the world to follow.

Gerald Flores of Quest Innovations & Research states, "The main problem is not an absence of resources to solve the needs of a community but an absence of a way of mobilizing them. Over the last ten years, there has been a development of different ways of approaching solving the water and environmental crisis with small scale appropriate technologies. For these trends to be carried through to a full and adequate fruition, they must find a way of merging and cooperating with the power economy in the minds of ordinary people so that millions of people can come to see there is a more constructive way for them to pursue their interests. As local communities create long lasting models of effective solutions for basic human needs such as clean water, it will become supported in policy. Then the large industries of fossil fuel producers will invest more in the new green sustainable technologies."

Quest Innovation & Research aspires to achieve global collaboration for the development of new environmentally friendly technologies to provide the needs for life's survival in a global citizenship.

Gerald Flores
Quest Innovations & Research
Offering Creations thru Science and Invention
For the Preservation of Life
www.questinnovations.net

--
Gerald Flores created Quest Innovations & Research in order to help preserve life so all living creatures on this planet.
The major environmental issues our world faces are problems that must be solved for the survival of life. According to The Natural Resources Defense Council, scientists say that unless global warming emissions are reduced, average global temperatures could rise another 3 to 9 degrees by the end of the century -- with far-reaching effects. Sea levels will rise, flooding coastal areas. Heat waves will be more frequent effecting crop yields, health and water sources. Droughts and wildfires will occur more often. Disease-carrying mosquitoes will expand their range and species will be pushed to extinction.

According to Richard C. Duncan, author of "The World Petroleum Life-cycle," a general consensus is developing among geologists that oil production at current levels can not be maintained beyond 2010. Even if new oil fields are developed, they will serve at best to delay briefly, the decline in production. Hunger and disease will be increased because of the increase in the depletion of minerals in soil, decreased water sources and drought. More than 852 million people in the world go hungry. In developing countries, 6 million children die each year, mostly from hunger-related causes. In the United States, 14 million children live in households where people have to skip meals or eat less to make ends meet. That means one in ten households in the U.S. are living with hunger or are at risk of hunger.

The ongoing invention development of Quest Innovations & Research promotes technology collaboration for new cutting-edge projects to have effective support for the world’s issues. The current projects work together as a system and holds major promise for a struggling planet. The self powered water hydration system will eliminate the need to pump water from the ground or dam rivers. The mobile water unit will extract enough water from the atmosphere to supply homes, business, communities, and disaster relief. The perpetual-type energy system is a self-sustaining power producing unit. It will provide clean electrical energy and is 100% environmentally safe. The unit will provide power for itself and be fully mobile and adaptable for varied energy uses. The hydroponics farming system will turn some of the worst soils into some of the richest. Farming with the soil "Terra Preta" will generate an estimated 880% increase in food production with less land use. The water turbine system produces electric current from water flowing over a turbine. This unit will not require a river or a dam to operate and is environmentally safe.

Please visit Quest Innovations & Research at www.questinnovations.net and participate in collaboration with individuals, groups, communities, organizations, businesses, agencies and nations to help life survive on planet Earth.

--
Gerald Flores is an inventer and researcher developing new methods of preserving life on our planet,he can be contacted at http://www.questinnovations.net or emailed at questinnovation@yahoo.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

The discovery made by ancient Amazonians more then 500 years ago has the ability to change any soil into the most fertile in the world. This discovery will increase agriculture production on less land, help solve world hunger and save the rain forest.

Terra preta (which means "dark soil" in Portuguese), or Terra prÃtta do Ãndio, refers to expanses of very dark soils found in the Amazon Basin. They are also known as Amazonian dark earths.

Overview
Terra preta is distinguished from "terra comum," or "common soil," which refers to the reddish or yellowish ferralsols that predominate under tropical soils. Terra preta is believed to be the result of past indigenous activities in the forest and is thus considered to be anthropic and/or anthropogenic, possibly from a pre-Columbian civilization. It seems to be comprised of low temperature charcoal, pottery shreds, plant residues, animal feces, fish bones, and perhaps some biological agent like a special ecosystem of healthy microorganisms. Because they are very rich in nutrients they are explored and used as compost by Amazonian local farmers and "caboclos."

The origin of the Amazonian dark earths is not entirely clear and several theories have been considered. These soils were originally postulated to result from ash fall from volcanoes in the Andes since they occur more frequently on the brows of higher terraces. Another theory considered is formation as a result of sedimentation in Tertiary lakes or in recent ponds. Because of their elevated charcoal content, it is now widely accepted that these soils are a product of indigenous soil management involving a labor intensive technique termed slash-and-char. The technique is differentiated from slash and burn by a lower temperature burn and in being a tool for soil improvement. Amending soil with low temperature charcoal produced from a mix of wood and leafy biomass (termed bio-char) has been observed to increase the activity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.

About 10% of the original terra comum appears to have converted to Terra preta. Whether all Amazonian dark earth was intentionally created for soil improvement or whether the lightest variants are a by-product of habitation is not clear at present time. This is in part due to the varied features of the dark earths throughout the Amazon Basin.

Quest Innovations & Research is currently researching and developing a way to implement this new discovery to relieve the growing food needs being experienced world wide.

Other projects being developed are a water hydration system that will eliminate the need to pump water from the ground or dam rivers. The perpetual electrical energy unit will provide an endless source of clean energy. The hydroponics system will use Terra preta as a basis to produce and increase food supplies world wide. These and many other projects are being researched and developed.

Please visit Quest Innovations & Research at www.questinnovations.net and participate in collaboration with individuals, groups, communities, organizations, businesses, agencies and nations to help life survive on planet Earth.

Gerald Flores
Quest Innovations & Research

--
Gerald Flores is an invetor and researcher developing methods to help preserve life on our planet.
