Registry errors are malfunctions of the Windows registry, which indexes information on all hardware and software settings on PCs. If you attempt to load a program but receive an error message, or your computer takes an inordinate amount of time to load or shut down (sometimes even hours,) you might have a registry error. Registry errors are one of the things you are going to have to deal with sooner or later if you use a computer. It doesn't matter if you are one of those people who practically lives at their computer, or someone who just uses a computer to read and send email a few times a week.

Other problems which are associated with registry errors are software
problems, poor performance, and system crashes. In this article, you will discover ways to fix registry errors. Windows Vista registry errors are a common problem. As people download and install all sorts of applications and utilities more often than before - an interruption to the installation is bound to happen. In fact, registry errors are generally caused by frequent installation and un-installation of software, programs that did not uninstall completely and finally corrupted and/or unused hardware drivers. Besides causing these errors, a fragmented registry also causes a performance hit because the registry increases in size and there for it takes longer to load and read by Windows.

One such way of fixing errors in the registry is by doing it manually. Repairing the registry manually can mean accessing the registry directly by typing "regedit.exe" in the search box in the start menu, which entails a scan through the keys and values stored in the hives and deleting what you think are invalid entries at will. But I wasn't about to let the gang at my hosting company start hacking the Vista System Registry. The best way I was shown for fixing this is by getting a Registry Scan program and running it on each PC with Windows Vista. After scanning, I was presented with a screen that allowed me to select which registry errors to fix. Just watch the video on my website Calskin Registry Fix. I walk through each step - so you can clearly see what is happening.

With the rush in today's business place, especially as you can imagine, the web hosting business, we uninstalled software a lot, but still it caused us to have an unclean registry. Regularly performing a Registry Scan will make it clear how this affects your computer. Again, changes made manually in the registry by people not knowing exactly what they are doing are the source of many a computer error. Even experts fear to tread into the registry and that is why specialist software exists to repair registry errors.

If you're an average user, do NOT attempt to manually edit the registry files. And you really don't need to as I found out, with the program I show you in the video on my site. You'll see it find the errors and how I click to choose what I want fixed and cleared. It's really that easy. But I know there are a ton of the "fixers" and scanners out there. I'm telling you the one I found was the best for us at World Wide Mart hosting. I hope this helps you and you can get that error fixed real soon.

--
Dave is manager of a large web hosting company and endorses Registry Easy, a self-contained software for fixing Registry errors on Windows Vista.

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Who wants the most spectacular beach vacation in America? OK, close your eyes and dream of the base of the Waianae Mountain range. See the Pacific Ocean in the distance? You're barefoot in well manicured gardens. And this quiet area along with the spectacular mountain and ocean views makes this an ideal place to unwind.

Welcome to Maui.

But there's too much to do here. The beach is where we always start on a Maui Beach Vacation. Then there's the art and garden tours, hula lessons, lei making, and catamaran sailing - just some of the daily activities. And if you're in the mood to explore, Hana is hands down the best drive on the island and unique for small weddings, honeymoons, and romantic getaways.

But we're going too fast. Take it slow and enjoy the "buffet" of choices - then design your Maui Beach Vacation how you want it. Start at the nearby resort area of Kapalua. It has the top resorts in the United States and some of the most challenging golf courses in Hawaii.

This island has everything. There's a rugged area on West Maui's back end. Rental car agencies will tell you it's a supposed no-go-area for tourist due to the dangerous narrow and winding road. As you travel, don't miss the concession stand right off the beach, run by the Westin Maui Prince Resort. As you enjoy the beach in this area, you can rent all sorts of beach equipment. This beach is absolutely beautiful has incredible sand just asking to be walked in bare foot.

And did we mention this is a very cool family beach? We spent the day here and even took in a Maui Sunset. These resort areas are on the western, or leeward shore so, guess what - that's where a lot of the spectacular beaches are. On this special island surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and spectacular sunsets create a serenely gorgeous way of life.

We also drove to lush, green and meticulously manicured, Wailea. A premier resort area on Maui, with splendid weather, five heavenly beaches, clear water and outstanding views of Molokini and Kaho'olawe - who found this place?

Breathtaking!

Kaanapali Beach is a true resort playground and was once the resort home of Hawaiian royalty. Come and see why! Kaanapali Beach is our favorite beach, and here you can either walk for miles on the sand, or take a leisurely stroll along a pathway through the many resorts and hotels that are strung along the beach. If you end up at Whaler's Village you may catch an outdoor concert of local performers, eat in one of the great beach front restaurants, browse through a myriad of shops and boutiques or take in the informative Whaler's Museum, offering free admission. Kaanapali Beach is approximately three miles long, and is divided by a lava cliff, known commonly as "Black Rock" and by the Hawaiians as Puu Kekaa. Each evening at sunset, there is ceremonial torch lighting and cliff diving at Black Rock, as sunny days give way to starry nights, this tradition enthralls our visitors and has become a resort signature.

Wailea is the perfect destination for your Maui Beach Vacation in Hawaii. Many of the Maui condo accommodations are owner occupied or managed "by owner." What this means is that you can negotiate a great deal - especially in today's market - for a beach side vacation in Maui.

--

Dave has traveled extensively around the Hawaiian islands and calls Maui his favorite place that has it all.
Dogs, especially puppies and miniatures, are so innocent of their surroundings that they'll try anything once, even if it's harmful. This morning, as I was spraying an organic insecticide made from flowers and my miniature schnauzer took a few licks to see what is was like - before I caught her. Just like snakes, dogs use their tongues to test the environment. This spray isn't that bad because it's natural. Still, even natural repellents are pretty hard on the kidneys.

Dogs will try anything, even more so than cats, which are the most finicky pets you could own. So when you are putting out the dog food, chances are, even if there is something bad in there, if it tastes good enough, they'll consume the whole bowl and look at you to see if more is coming. And by the way, make sure you're not over feeding your puppy. Don't feed your puppy scraps or your unfinished food. That's too much food for an animal that doesn't get out very much. They have nowhere to burn off the food and will get fat, quickly.

So if dogs can't tell you how their food tastes, or read the label to see if there is something in their food that might be hard on the kidneys or digestive tract; it is up to you, their owner, to carefully check what is in that dog food bag that sits in the corner. With the recent crises of the Chinese putting junk in mix, it is time for you to do some label investigation to make sure you are not slowly killing your dog with ingredients that still make it onto our shelves.

First, let's understand the economics behind the making of dog food. Dog food manufacturers are in business for one main reason - and it's not to make dog food! They're in business to make a profit. Dog food is only what gets them to profitability. Once you know this, believe that if they can save money on manufacturing and beat the competition, they will. They don't do this because they want to hurt your pet. They do this because if they don't - the way their business model works - they will lose money and sell less dog food.

Have you been to the dog food aisle lately? Some stores have two or three aisles. There is huge competition on price and ingredients. You'll find your normal dog food; names you've grown up with, and then you'll find newer, organic or special diet dog foods. So know that there is not a lot of concern going on for your dog - just marketing what may catch your fancy. But you need to be aware of what to look out for on those labels.

Since Fido will probably eat the same food day in and day out, it is important to look past the attractive labels and clever marketing. Current pet food regulation allows manufacturers to use ingredients you wouldn't feed your pet in you knew. Look for the word "by-products" on the label. This can mean feet, bones and intestines.

Because dog food manufacturers have to make sure the product won't spoil, typically 12 months, they include preservatives. Fats used in dog food would go rancid, so they use synthetic preservatives called butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), propyl gallate, propylene glycol which is also used as a less-toxic version of automotive antifreeze, and ethoxyquin. Look for these on the label. There is not much information documenting their toxicity, safety, interactions, or use in pet foods that may be eaten every day for the life of your dog. Propylene glycol was banned in cat food because it causes anemia in cats, yet it is still allowed in dog food.

These potentially cancer-causing agents such as BHA, BHT, and ethoxyquin are allowed at pretty low levels. Using these chemicals in dog foods has not been thoroughly studied, and long term build-up of these agents could be harmful. Because of the questionable data in the original study on its safety, ethoxyquin's manufacturer, Monsanto, was required to perform a new, more rigorous study in 1996. Monsanto didn't find significant toxicity associated with its own product, but in July 1997 the FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine requested that manufacturers voluntarily reduce the maximum level for ethoxyquin by half, to 75 parts per million.

The ball is in the air on ethoxyquin. Some pet food critics believe that ethoxyquin is a major cause of disease, skin problems, and infertility in dogs, others claim it is the safest, strongest, most stable preservative we have for pet food. And ethoxyquin is approved for human foods, preserving spices such as cayenne and chili powder, at a level of 100 ppm - but it would be pretty hard for even the most hard-core spice lover to consume as much chili powder every day as a dog would eat dry food. Ethoxyquin has not been tested with cats. Still, it is commonly used in veterinary diets for both cats and dogs.

What is the answer? What I suggest is that you contact suppliers who make dog food in small batches and ship them to your door. These companies are few and far between, but they do exist and they have higher quality ingredients with none of the dangerous preservatives. I discuss this great detail on my website Three Best Dogs, and give you suggestions to try for your treasured pet.

--

Dave Jackson lives in south Florida with his miniature schnauzer.
Right now you're probably thinking that gold bullion investing is something best left to the pros. Yes, the majority of traders making noise are professional investors. But there are some easy ways to get into the bullion market, and gold could be a good investment for you.

Of all things to invest in, gold is probably one of the most liquid investments. And much unlike many of the other commodities, it is literally traded 24 hours a day everywhere in the world. This means you can buy and sell gold in about any country.

Mom always said to not put all your eggs in one basket, and this is why gold should form the foundation in your overall investment portfolio. If you have only paper in your portfolio, know that gold tends to move in the opposite direction of paper investments. It really stands out as a diversifier. With your stocks, bonds and cash, gold can help offset fluctuations in the market. There are a lot of financial advisers that recommend having 5 to 10 percent of gold in their portfolio.

A real good way to get into the gold bullion market is by investing in the American Eagle. This coin is the only bullion coin whose weight, content, and purity are backed by the United States government. Think of the confidence you can have buying them. American Eagle gold coins require no assaying and they can be converted to cash at any moment. Simple to keep track of, American Eagles are tied to the spot gold price, plus a small premium to cover mintage and distribution.

Many have used American Eagle gold bullion coin in their Individual Retirement Accounts or other tax-advantaged plans. It just makes good sense to at least consider looking into the American Eagle. If you thought that investing in gold was too hard or too tricky, read our reports to see why now is the very best time to invest.

--
Dave Jackson details gold investing at his site Investing in Gold.
Are Soft Drinks Bad for You?

You probably don't want to hear facts and figures. Can't someone just tell me that soft drinks are bad because they cause too much gas or have some terrible acid that will eat my insides? Well if they did say that, would it wean you off your favorite beverage? Maybe - but unless you feel some strange effects - you're not going to change.

Studies have shown us that drinking soda before we go to bed may cause acid reflux. So if you don't drink it right before bed, you'll be fine - right? Not exactly. Data (and I know you don't want numbers) showed that a quarter of the 15 thousand patients surveyed reported heartburn problems when sleeping. Those who drank pop during the day increased their risk of developing acid reflux at night.

So why do soft drinks have such a bad effect on you? Two elementary reasons - most carbonated drinks are extremely acidic. And, drinking them forces your body to consume carbon dioxide - which causes acid reflux. Once you have acid reflux, these same studies have shown that the sleep medications, Ativan, Valium, Xanax, and Halcion, aggravate the problem. You may have to switch.

GERD, gastro-esophageal reflux disease) is so common to us in America, it's a pity. Only the top pharmaceutical companies are getting good out of the condition. But simply avoiding a soft drink at night may not be the solution. To ask if soft drinks are bad for me is a good question - but when you already have heartburn it may be the less of two evils. Some people think that GERD is normal and that getting on medication is the solution. But that's like saying if you're deficient in asprin - you'll be prone to headaches.

If you are suffering from reflux or heartburn, something is causing that and medicines like Prilosec and Nexium, or H2 Blockers like Tagamet or Zantac, is not addressing the cause. It just makes sense to do everything you can to find the cause and try to stop it. If you don't, you wind up on medication and the consequences of that, or untreated acid reflux, which may cause cancer.

Acid in this case, may actually be the solution - not the problem. The body is producing the acid as a way of solving something totally out of balance. One research shows eating more protein and less carbohydrates does help. Others suggest a low-grain diet and metabolic typing. And as always, curtailing sugar intake and supplementing with vitamin D and garlic seems to work for most people with GERD.

If you are on a proton pump inhibitor like Prilosec or Nexium, you know you can't just stop them cold turkey. One of the complaints is that they do make you dependent. So soft drinks can be bad and can lead to acid reflux. Whether that is worth the pain is up to you.

--

Dave Jackson gave up all soft drinks in 1998 and found better health. He's had his share of everything cola since 1955, so stopping was hard. You can find more information on soft drinks at http://www.vt88.com

Source: http://www.articletrader.com

Lenders are between a rock and a hard place. With a good deal of very risky loans, they still have to do the day to day selling of mortgages to qualified people. This is their bread and butter. And consumers with okay credit have an advantage as well. If mortgage companies depended soley on excellent Fico scores for their risk, they would be missing out on a large market.

Twenty years ago hardly anyone was on the organic bandwagon. Today there are stores popping up everywhere selling only organic. Even the local grocer has an aisle dedicated entirely to organic. People are now embracing going greener, organic. And lenders are listening. There is a push currently of mortgages with discounts and credits as lenders reward consumers for being energy-efficient.

What is being called a Green mortgage is gaining renewed attention from top lenders. If your home or prospective home has energy-efficient improvements, or meets certain efficiency standards, you may qualify for a credit at closing, or a nice discount on a refinance. Everything from spray-foam insulation to carpets is considered.

These Green mortgages aren't new, but they are receiving more attention as of late. These loans allow consumers to borrow more because the mortgage companies are considering the savings that consumers will see in utility bills. An example would be a home that saves $50 a month. That's $600 a year that can be applied to the loan, or $10,000 more to the mortgage.

Environmentalists are loving it, saing that coaxing people to make changes that will use less energy is a good thing. Homes are said to account for around 20 percent of the greenhouse gas effect. Some states are subsidizing loans for energy-efficient improvements. Pennsylvania now offers a low-interest, unsecured financing for energy-related improvements such as insulation and air-conditioning systems, windows, doors, things that meet their criteria.

Kansas and New York have also started their own plans that allows families to qualify for reduced rate loans for improvements. Already participation has been about 20 percent this year. And builders are jumping on board as well, with homes that are enery-efficient. They now present prospective home owners options banks are offering including the Green mortgages. This is an additional tool for developers in a slow market nationwide.

Finally, many lenders are offering refinancing at better rates if the home now qualifies as being more energy-efficient. Again lenders factor in that the borrower will be able to better afford the loan with the additional money they will save on utility bills. If you find this of interest, I detail more on my website When is Foreclosure.

--

Dave Jackson works with foreclosures and mortgages on his site When is Foreclosure.
What Food Can I Eat with Acid Reflux

Until recently, it has been impossible or difficult to accurately identify non-acid reflux and, therefore, to study whether or not non-acid reflux is injurious or can cause symptoms. If acid reflux is not treated at the initial stage or acid reflux is allowed to linger, the symptoms may assume dangerous proportions and can cause ulcers to appear in the esophagus and also inflammation of the esophagus which is commonly called esophagitis. For those advocating herbal remedies, acid reflux is often equated with poor digestion.

What to Eat to Combat Acid Reflux

To start with, eating right and healthy is the basic course of treatment. Eating smaller meals throughout the day as opposed to eating big meals can be a huge help for acid reflux symptoms. Eating smaller meals at intervals of 3-4 hours is better than having larger meals. Eating high-fiber bread instead of white bread, and exercising for 30 minutes at least once a week, decreased the odds of getting heartburn. One home remedy for acid reflux is not to smoke while you are eating or before you eat. However, many people can improve their symptoms by avoiding alcohol and spicy, fatty or acidic foods that trigger heartburn. Eating smaller meals, not eating close to bedtime, losing weight if needed, wearing loose-fitting clothes, are all good advice. Overeating is directly linked to acid reflux disorder. Acid reflux is also increased by eating fatty meals as fat delays gastric emptying. Drinking plenty of water and eating mild and bland foods is often the quickest way to curb acid reflux but there are certain foods which are said to be excellent cures.

What Foods Help or Hurt

One way to lessen heartburn episodes is to change your diet. Foods and drinks that have been suspected of making symptoms worse in some people include: peppermint, tomatoes, chocolate, spicy foods, hot drinks, coffee, and alcoholic drinks. Foods that are usually recommended for an acid reflux diet include cabbage, green beans, broccoli, peas, apples, bananas, carrots, lean cuts of grilled meat, fish with no added fat, egg whites, low-fat cheeses like feta, low-fat salad dressings and multi-grain breads. When you eliminate foods that cause you pain, you are taking a big step in the right direction. The amount of acid being produced will drop when you stop eating so much acidic foods. Acid reflux sufferers should consume high fiber foods such as fruits and vegetables. If you're breast-feeding, your baby's doctor may suggest that you avoid cow's milk or certain other foods.

What About Apple Cider Vinegar

Unknown to many, apple cider vinegar or ACV does great things like treating ailments. If this is the first time you are researching home remedies for acid reflux, you may be surprised to find that the top remedy is vinegar. For over a year now I have been taking 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar right before bed and I have not had problems since. I would strongly recommend the use of apple cider vinegar before trying any other pills.

As you can see from above an acid reflux diet does not restrict everything that you would normally enjoy. This will not only help you in understanding just what may be aggravating your condition, but it will provide the doctor with a better understanding as well so that they will be able to suggest the best type of acid reflux diet for you and ways in which you should be changing your eating habits. There are many sites available on the web today which are able to provide you with a complete list of all the foods which are safe and can included into an acid reflux diet. Ours is Acid Reflux and Heartburn.

--

Dave Jackson researched foods when he had issues with acid reflux.
Buying Homes In A Foreclosure Market

What credit crunch? That's what many home buyers with solid credit and enough money for the down payment are saying during the current downturn in the real estate market. They are much better positioned than they were before the market turned down.

And now, even the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is at a low. Home prices almost everywhere have fallen. If you want to buy a home, and you have the credit qualifications, it's a great time to buy.

So what changed?

Because of the housing slowdown, mortgage rates have dropped. Since houses aren't selling, lenders are doing everything they can to entice buyers, including low lending rates. Treasury securities and the housing slowdown helped force mortgage rates down.

Home prices are lower now than last year, and down in most states according to the National Association of Realtors. Buyers with sound credit have a ton of bargaining power. For some, real estate appraisals are producing lower home values, allowing buyers to renegotiate the price.

Lenders fear the subprime market crisis will continue, but still some offer jumbo loans. Community and national banks have stepped in to offer these. They can fund them with customer deposits. Many lenders have abandoned these jumbo loans.

Finally, rates on ARM's, which are almost always based on Treasury yields, have fallen. This brings prices down all around.

Think - what better time than now to buy that home you've been putting off for so long. Now is the time because it probably won't get much better than this.

First, find your credit score. You can do this easily and online. Secondly, shop the local lenders first. See if they can offer you a loan that may start out low, but not get out of hand down the road. Then take the time to ponder the market. Make sure you are knowledgeable about what is going on and think of ways you can take advantage of it.

It always makes sense to contact a real estate attorney before you commit to a long term loan. These real estate lawyers can help you figure out if later on you can actually afford the payments of a jumbo type loan.
Yorkie puppies for sale! Today when you see those four words, there's action. Because of their recent popularity, Yorkie puppies are in high demand.

A Yorkshire Terrier, or Yorkies, as they are called, are the second most popular dog breed in the United States, passed only by the Labrador Retriever. These cute puppies for sale by dog rescue and Yorkie Dog Breeders are small, weighing in at 7 pounds or less.

Many Yorkie puppy breeders will tell you that the "tea cup" nomination does not mean anything other than the smallest of the breed. And, a Toy Yorkie does not mean frail or fragile.

Do Yorkies Shed?

Yorkies have long hair, but they have no undercoat. An undercoat is the part that sheds - and which may cause allergies to some people. Yorkie puppies and full grown Yorkies have hair much like humans which grows and falls out. Plus, Yorkies have less dander so they don't have that "wet dog" smell.

A pure bred Yorkie will have straight hair, not wavy. If the Yorkshire Terrier is a show dog, the coat requires many hours of brushing each day. It's not uncommon to see a Yorkie in rice paper covering the beautiful coat when between showings at competition.

The Yorkie has a medium tail because it is traditionally docked, or cut, by the breeder when a puppy. Since the early 1990's there has been a movement afoot to ban this practice, however, your Yorkie will probably have a medium tail.

Are Yorkies Good with Kids?

Yorkies are Terriers, and Terriers are intelligent and independent. Yorkies are courageous, acting much bigger than they are. They fit in with families very well but are bold and may not be suitable for kids and small children. Yorkies often bark at strangers, but it has been found that this is due to how the owner trains the animal.

Yorkies are from England, and were bred to kill rats in confined areas. They sought out critters that burrowed. Animals that are cornered will fight back to protect their young. A dog that would willingly pursue that animal must have a great deal of courage. Terriers are that kind of dog.

Yorkshires are from Yorkshire, England - a northern region. They were introduced to America in 1872.
Kids want a dog? As a family, you should consider the Chihuahuas! Before you buy, you should realize that there are certain things you should know first. There are many Chihuahua breeders in all areas and choosing one that is well known is most important. Ask your friends if they know anyone who owns one of these dogs to recommend Chihuahua breeders, or check out a few before you decide on your pet. Three Best Dogs explains the top dog breed personalities.

And there are very many breeds of Chihuahua, like the apple head, tea-cup, long haired, doll faced and short haired. Good Chihuahua breeders will not breed many different types, but only one type. Some Chihuahua kennels specialize in the toy breeds. Once a buyer has chosen the breed he/she wants it is best to visit the breeder a few times before finally taking the puppy home.

Usually, reputable Chihuahua breeders will want to know what the family is like and their background of owning pets before they sell one. In the same line, buyers should ask Chihuahua breeders questions about the dogs. This isn't as simple as buying a new purse; the dog will be the newest member of the family. Take a little time to observer around the kennel to help make the right choice.

An important thing to note is if the puppies were brought up in kennels or reared inside a home. If you are looking to buy you should check around the home or kennel to see what the conditions were like, make sure that they are well maintained. Try and observe if the puppies are shy or if they are playful and affectionate.

Questions to Ask Chihuahua Breeders

The first thing to ask Chihuahua breeders is for verification or ID. Ask if there is a waiting list to be put on if there is no litter and ask if their or puppies available at all times. Another good step to take is to ask to see the mother of the litter. Also ask if the breeder has taken the dogs for their shots and that they are up to date. When you get your puppy you should be able to ask for the Chihuahua breeders help and support ever after the sale.

Here's a tip: Ask for the names of previous buyers. That was if there are any problems you encounter, you can be aware if others have faced the same with these Chihuahua Breeders. Ask what kind of food the dogs eat and make sure that it is a premium quality. Don't fall for a breeder who doesn't let you come to the kennel many times before making a decision. If one is rushing you then use caution, as he may not be reputable.

--

Dave Jackson knows pups.
