This pain is usually non specific and is soften described as tightness or a deep ache in a certain area or muscle group. <description><![CDATA[ The word 'chiropractic' literally means 'done by the hand' or 'manipulation'. Spinal manipulation was practised by Hippocrates in the 5th Century BC. Chiropractic as we know it today was developed in 1895 by a Canadian, Daniel D Palmer. The chiropractic belief is based on his findings that 95% of all health problems could be prevented or treated using spinal adjustment, and 5% by adjustments of other joints. It is proposed that misaligned vertebrae, or subluxations, caused interference and interrupted the proper flow of information from the spine to an internal organ. As a result, the human body would experience disharmony which would result in loss of health.  <br><br>Chiropractic therapy is based on the scientific fact that your body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body. If there is a misalignment the result is pain and or discomfort with disrupted information pathways. Once this misalignment is fixed, the body will heal itself within reason.<br><br> It is generally accepted that chiropractors can help sore backs but it is only about 20% of what chiropractic can do for a patient. There is a multitude of other conditions that chiropractors relieve. These include: asthma; muscle, joint and postural problems; gastrointestinal disorders; fatigue; vision problems; tinnitus; vertigo; sinus problems; allergies; croup; skin conditions; kidney conditions; irritable bowel; menstrual problems among others.<br><br>Occasionally patients will need to be in a state of undress for treatment. Treatments are usually carried out on a chiropractic bed specially designed for this purpose.<br>The length of each visit and the frequency of re-visits is dependent on the Chiropractor and the problem or issue that is being treated.<br><br>After taking a case history the spine is examined to see if there are any injuries, accidents or areas of tension that may be causing irritation to the spinal nerve roots. By reducing or eliminating this irritation, the body will operate more efficiently and more comfortably. Occasionally a Chiropractor may refer a patient for x-rays, Massage or Physiotherapy if this is considered to be necessary. Manipulation of the spine, when performed by a chiropractor, is frequently referred to as an adjustment. Chiropractors assess, diagnose and treat people with movement problems and strive to restore function. They assess injuries and work with the patient to help restore as normal of function as possible.  <br><br>Chiropractics don’t just fix what is broken, they also work with people to ensure that they lead a healthy and active lifestyle. <description><![CDATA[ The distinction between councelling and Psychotherapy is not a clear line, as in both common and professional usage counselling and psychotherapy are interchangeable. Counselling tends to be oriented in equal measure to the past, present and future as well as problem and solution focused, where as Psychotherapy tends to deal more with seriously disturbed individuals such as those with depression, anxiety or personality disorder. Counselling is any relationship in which one person is helping another person to better understand and solve some problem.  Counsellors can be anyone who wants to, friends, relatives, academic advisors, teachers, and many others. Counsellors have a broad range of experience in developing "helping relationships" and working with many different situations.<br><br>The main attributes that you will look for in a therapist is;<br><br>That they listen to what you have to say and helps you to untangle your thought and help you understand your emotions within certain situations<br><br>That they work with you to achieve your goal whilst still repecting your personal and cultural values<br><br>Helps you gain your own insight into how you feel you should act, think and feel <br>Works throug your issues and helps you to work out your own problems and how to see what can be changed and what can’t.<br><br>Helps you accept what cannot be changed yet helps you work out a way to deal with the issues<br><br>Helps you to become aware of what is important to you and your wellbeing<br><br>Counselling and psychotherapy is available for many different issues. There are many types available. Some of the problems that people face or require councelling or psychotherapy for are, aging, chronic illness/disability, cultural issues, domestic violence, sexuality, sexual abuse, self esteem or self image issues, anxiety, denial, relationship issues, marriage counselling, anger management, etc just to name a few.<br>The main issues that a therapists will face is the lack of cooperation from their clients. Your therapist cannot help you if you do not talk to them about your problems or concerns. Therapists are not there to judge. They are there to simply listen and to give advice whilst helping find resolve.<br><br>To get the most out of your therapy session be ready to focus on a specific problem or issue. Be prepared for your sessions. Attend your sessions and take an active part in them. Complete (or at least attempt) any "homework." But this is no longer so. The psychic and spiritual world has many dedicated followers and many different terms that define the exact nature of each of the special gifts that their members hold.<br><br>A Psychic is a name that refers to a person who has extra sensory perception or paranormal powers. A psychic is a person who is believed to possess extra-sensory abilities, including: clairvoyance, psychometry and precognition. It should be noted that a psychic is able to "sense" the spiritual world on a purely material level and not be able to "tune in" to the spirit world, except by accident. Mediums are psychics but not all psychics are mediums. <br><br>There are many terms and definitions of each of the ‘special’ gifts that are said to fall within the Psychic label. Many believe that our lives and personalities are governed by the position of the planets at the time of our births. It's believed that the origin of numerology is either with Pythagoras, the Greek mathematician (569-470 B.C) or even earlier still in the Jewish Kabbala.<br><br>The basis of numerology is eleven numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 22. You can reduce the numbers in your name or birth date down into these eleven numbers to make a numerology chart.<br><br>The four main types of Numerology readings are -<br><br>1. Your Life Path Number which is based on your birth date.<br><br>2. Your Expression Number which is based on the letters of your full name given at birth.<br><br>3. Your Soul Urge Number which is based on a reduction of the vowels in your full birth name.<br><br>4. Your Destiny Number which is based on a reduction of the consonants in your full birth name.<br><br>Tarot Cards <br>The Tarot Cards are used as a tool to allow you to tap into your own intuition. They allow you an alternatate view or new perspective into self understanding, spiritual growth, clarification of descisions and everyday problems. Many Tarot readers believe that the cards take on the energy of the person who touches them which is why the cards are insulated from others by wrapping them in silk or enclosing them in a box. They are only to be touched by the diviner and the person for whom the reading is done. <br><br>Palmistry<br>In palmistry it is believed that the overall shape and formation of the hands is one of the first clues to the character and destiny. Emerse yourself into the world of soul, romance, emotion and drama. There’s a dance type to suit all interests, including swing, latin, tap, ballroom and belly dancing. Not only is it fun and enjoyable, its great for your fitness levels aswell.<br><br>It is not possible to say exactly when dance became a part of our cultural history but it has definitely played a large role in ceremonies, rituals and entertainment. Dance has been used for centuries as a form of expression and story telling. Even before the written language, dance was used to pass down myths and stories through generations.<br>Many people believe that dance can only be achieved with a combination of music and movement. Not all dance types require music as some people believe that they “dance to their own rhythm”.<br><br>There are many types of dance available. Lessons for many types of dance styles are available. Some people even choose to learn a certain dance type as a form of fitness and for social interaction. It’s a great way to meet others with similar interest. There are no restrictions on who can join, if you can walk and run, you can dance. <br>Some of the more popular types of dance are;<br><br>The history of swing dates back to the 1920's, where the black community, while dancing to contemporary Jazz music, discovered the Charleston and the Lindy Hop. In the late 1930's and through the 1940's, the terms Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Lindy, and Swing were used interchangeably by the news media to describe the same style of dancing taking place on the streets, in the night clubs, in contests, and in the movies.There are many types of swing dance available with each region or area boasting its own type of Swing Dance. To name just a few types;<br><br>Ballroom West Coast Swing; A style of swing popular in the ballroom dance school organizations and different from the style performed in the California night clubs and Swing dance clubs.<br><br>Savoy Swing; A style of Swing popular in the New York Savoy Ballroom in the 30's and 40's originally danced to Swing music. The Savoy style of swing is a very fast, jumpy, casual-looking style of dancing<br><br>West Coast Swing; A style of Swing emphasizing nimble feet popular in California night clubs in the 30's and 40's and voted the California State Dance in 1989.<br><br>The Mambo was born in 1943 after the fusion of Swing and Cuban Music. The original Mambo dance was a lot different to what we see today as it was toned down due to the violent acrobatics that were performed.  After its first birth onto the dance floors, the Mambo craze did not last long and today the Mambo is much limited to advanced dancers. Teachers agreed that this is one of the most difficult of dances. One of the greatest contributions of the Mambo is that it led to the development of the Cha-Cha and the authentic night-club style of mambo dancing, which in the 1990's is increasingly known as Salsa.<br><br>The Salsa is a mix of many Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances with each playing a large role of the Salsa evolution. Salsa is similar to Mambo in that both have a pattern of six steps danced over eight counts of music. The dances share many of the same moves. In Salsa, turns have become an important feature, so the overall look and feel are quite different form those of Mambo. Mambo moves generally forward and backward, whereas, Salsa has more of a side to side feel.<br><br>The correct name for belly dancing is actually "Oriental Dance"? The Arabic name for it is raqs sharqi, which means "dance of the East/Orient", and the Turkish name is Oryantal. For centuries, the role of Oriental dance in Middle Eastern society has been that of a folk dance that people would do at joyous occasions such as weddings, the birth of a child, community festivals, and other events that bring people together to party. It was a dance that men, women, and children did for fun, not a "performance" done to entertain an audience. <br><br>There are many other types of dancing, such as, Break Dancing, Disco, Hip Hop, Ballet, Ballroom, Tango, Flamenco, Foxtrot, Jazz, Merenque, Polka, Rumba, Samba, Twist, Waltz, etc just to name a few. Waxing was one of the popular ancient methods greatly accepted in Europe, America, Middle East, China and India. It can be done by a professional at select salons and spas, or you can do it at your home. Waxing uproots the hair from its follicles for long hair free periods lasting up to eight weeks depending on your particular skin, hair type and rate of hair growth. It produces the smoothest results among all temporary hair removal methods currently available. It can also decrease re-growth of unwanted hair. There are people who say this method of hair removal is not as painful as it sounds. You can purchase a pain reducing gel or anesthetic numbing spray from your pharmacist to reduce the pain. It is always better to test a small area of skin for sensitivity or an allergic reaction. <br><br>There are various types of waxing are available for you. Some of them need the services of a licensed cosmetologist. The different types of waxing that can be performed on your body are eyebrows waxing, bikini, male genital & Brazilian waxing, leg waxing,  arm / underarm waxing, back waxing, foot waxing, chest waxing, entire body waxing etc. Areas like inside the ears and nose as well as eyelashes should never be waxed. Areas like female genitals, male genitals and the nipples should be waxed by the licensed cosmetologist.<br><br>There are several types of wax available in the market. Common ones are Hot Wax, Warm Wax and Cold Wax.  Hot waxes are often called paraffin wax; the original hot wax is derived mainly from tallow and resins. It is heated prior to the application. This is very slow method still used in some salons today. Warm wax is actually a liquid sugar mixture, heated, applied to the skin and then removed with a muslin or cotton strips which absorb the wax, allowing it to grip the hair. Both warm and hot wax have the advantage of opening up the hair follicle and softening the layers of surrounding skin, easing the release of the hair with its root. Cold wax is available either in paste or gel form. It is applied to the skin without heating. It's not quite effective and less preferred than a warm wax. But if your skin is sensitive, then a cold wax causes less skin irritations. <br>  <br>Another popular type is the wax strip. It offers instant waxing, a convenient, quick method of hair removal that requires no preparation. Genuine wax strip grips the hair; when you pull them off, the area can remain hair-free for up to eight weeks. <br>For waxing your hair needs to be a little bit long for the best results. So if your hairs are very long, trim them down. If short, allow them to grow in a bit. You don't need to bathe beforehand. Since the hair absorbs moisture which makes it soft and harder for the wax to have a firm grip. Dry hair is tough therefore easier to pull off. It is advisable to lightly powder your skin to absorb moisture and natural oils. This will make hairs easier to pull, which will limit inflammation. Some people exfoliate the area before waxing. <br><br>Do not overheat the wax if you don't want to burn your skin. One small area should be selected at a time. After waxing, remove any excess wax with a warm moist towel, be careful, do not touch the skin with your bare hands. It may produce an infection in that area. When skin is freshly waxed, you can limit creating ingrown hairs and other skin irritations by not wearing tight clothing around the area. Be careful not to expose the newly waxed area to the sun for at least forty eight hours. Always use a good sun blocker cream thereafter. Waxing hair removal products usually leaves redness behind, so if you're preparing for a special occasion, do it a couple of days beforehand. <br><br>New hair growth in waxed areas is soft and fine. After repeated waxing for areas like the eyebrows and lower legs, hair re-growth is less common and, in some cases, hair will never re-grow.<br><br>Some physicians do not recommend waxing for people suffering from diabetes, varicose veins or poor circulation as they are prone to infections. Users of Retin-A, Renova, Differin or Isotretinoin are the medications that tend to weaken the skin and tearing of the skin may occur when the wax is removed. Waxing should not be done on areas of skin affected by warts, pimples, moles or rashes or on skin that is irritated, chapped or suffering from sunburn. <br><br>Men are not only waxing their backs, faces, chest but also their bikini lines. It increased sex appeal and a cleaner feeling. Since some men might be embarrassed about getting waxed at a salon, there are at-home cosmeticians who can do the job. There are even do-it-yourself waxing kits available for the purpose. Men get regular appointments at salons or spas for eyebrow waxing; most of the male clientele get their eyebrows waxed. Waxing is a good way to get rid of eyebrows that are out of control.
