The website has the look and feel of a fine art gallery, but it is actually divided into three separate "exhibits". From the Homepage, visitors can enter either the Professional, Emerging, or Student artist exhibits. By creating these distinct exhibits, the company not only helps shoppers find artwork that fits their budget, but ensures that an artist's work is only displayed along with that of their peers.

The website is also a juried website, meaning that artists must first apply and be accepted before they can exhibit their work. The jury is comprised of art professionals who are commonly interested in maintaining the quality of the artwork being presented. This process also allows the company to limit the number of participating artists to the number that they feel they can manage effectively.

Other websites charge artists a monthly or annual fee to participate. This business model provides great incentive for them to accept all artists willing to pay the fee, good or bad. These websites cannot possibly promote any of their artists effectively, and artists have little chance of ever being discovered. By only taking a small commission upon the sale of the artist's work, TheArtGalleriest.com has tremendous incentive to work for the artist to get them noticed. Some additional ways that artists benefit include…

* Artists will have titles, descriptions and key words applied to their pages to make sure they are search engine optimized.
* Artists will have the opportunity to be featured on the Homepage. As the featured artist, a piece of your artwork will be shown and will represent your artist level "exhibit". Visitors will enter the respective exhibit by clicking on your work where they will immediately be taken to your Product and Artist information page.
* Artists will benefit from the company's online and offline advertising partnerships. By remaining small, TheArtGallerist.com can utilize the work of its' artist as a part of its' marketing efforts.
* Artists easily control their own content. From uploading, to description, to how the work is organized and displayed on their pages.
* Artists can take an active role in the sale of their artwork. The "Guestbook" allows each artist to respond directly to questions or comments customers have left for them. The Guestbook feature provides customers with an opportunity to get to know the artists and establish a relationship with them before making their purchase.

Interested artists can find most of the information they will need about the company's artist program under the Customer Service tab at the top of the Home Page. From there, simply go to "For Our Artists...", and then "Participation". When ready to apply, they can click on the Artist button at the top of the Home Page. It can be found after the Contact tab, and in between "Shopping Cart" and "Customer" buttons. From there, click on "Don't have an account? Create one now!"

About the Company

TheArtGallerist.com, LLC is headquartered in the beautiful seaside artist community of Laguna Beach, California. As the name implies, the company takes an active role in the online representation and promotion of only the most talented professional, emerging and student artists. For consumers, the website provides a fine art gallery experience. With three separate exhibits, powerful search and sorting tools, and other special tools that allow consumers to interact with the artists, the website makes finding that perfect piece of affordable artwork easy and stress free.

There are so many children's books in this library. Children can look for books by location, color, length, intended age group, content type, and emotional quality, among other qualifiers. So it means that this library is the store house of different children books.
Books are selected by the children books based on excellence and suitability and are presented in their original language with copyright permission from publishers or authors. The Library's ultimate goal is to foster a love of reading, a readiness to learn, and a response to the children.
So children's books found in the digital library can quench the thirst of reading. Before choosing a children books guardian should see whether it is providing accurate information through illustrations or not.
There are so many types of books in the digital library. The earliest stories popular among children were written in the fifteen Century. For example we can say about two books whose names are Morte d'Arthur and the tales of Robin Hood. These books are not were not written with children in mind, but children have been fascinated by these stories for centuries. So books in the ancient time can be found in the digital library.

Books in sixteen century can be found in the library too. In this era, the first picture related children's books are written. Fairy tales were also written for the children. There are so many books of this era can be found from the digital library. So this library is the store house of knowledge which helps children to achieve knowledge for that age.

In the nineteen century and twenty century children books were written in an awesome way. Different kinds of stories took place in the children's book. Series story like Harry potter has the great significance on the children mind. These books are also available in the digital library. Actually digital library stores and provides different genres of children's books. It is really great that almost all kinds of children books are available in the digital library. People can find their said books in the library.

November Sun http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/november-sun.html http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/november-sun.html Wed, 17 Jun 2009 18:18:17 -0500 The hard part for us is to clear our minds from the baggage we carry over the years of our adulthood. There are ways to do that though, and then the whole new world opens up. Priorities change, relationships deepen, and time becomes of different value. Appreciating simple things brings the entire new perspective on life. November Sun is my little exercise to attempt to look at the world through the child's eye.

NOVEMBER SUN

When frosty wind blew not so strong,
It took the leaves in graceful glide.
They lingered just a bit too long,
Like they were hoping we forgot.

Though raking them was quite a drag,
I missed them waving from the trees.
But then, I thought, November sun
Has more of Mother Earth to see.

I picked one up, so big and bright;
It told me: "Don't cry over me.
I will be back with all my pals,
I'll come next year, I guarantee".

Relieved a bit and quite surprised,
Kept raking them without much fun.
When I looked up there was the prize…
They did unveil November sun.

Celebrating Poetry http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/celebrating-poetry.html http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/celebrating-poetry.html Wed, 17 Jun 2009 18:14:18 -0500 I think the role of poetry is greatly understated in today's world. Whether it is poetry written by a modern author or not there are always poems out there that today's reader can relate to, find inspiration, wisdom or simply entertainment. I would love to see more general interest as well as more time spent in schools to get the young readers attracted to poetry.
Poetry can stand on its own or be combined with other arts like music. Not everyone associates poetry with songs. Songs are such a great part of our everyday life and we may not even think that probably most of them started as lyric poetry. Most all of us have our favorite song. We know all the lyrics by heart since we listened to it many times. Many times we associate the song with certain events. Just hearing the song on the radio can take us back to that event or inspire certain mood.
Poetry is very powerful medium. It is also very fun to write. Children especially are very fond of it and it is quite easy to direct their interest to writing poems. Children's imagination is quite vivid and they usually have no trouble finding the subject for their writing. I think it is important to stimulate and cherish children's ability to write.
But it doesn't mean that if you are an adult it's too late to start writing poetry. There are a lot of references online that help with rhyming if you choose more traditional format. Reading examples of the work of other authors helps too.
It is very gratifying to write a poem. It's not like you need to write a novel to prove that you can write. Just find a quiet place and tap into this inner energy, which was probably there all along, and have fun. You can make it a family event too. Good place to start could be a poem about your own family. Personalizing the greeting cards for friends and family with short poems is another way to express your hidden talents. Just wait until you see the surprise on their faces; they will certainly appreciate your efforts to make them feel very special. Good Luck finding a Shakespeare within you!

Indulging Into good Romance Short Stories http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/indulging-into-good-romance-short-stories.html http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/indulging-into-good-romance-short-stories.html Wed, 15 Apr 2009 01:39:09 -0500
In many romance short stories, we find that the characters have to overcome great odds to finally settle down with each other. There are people who feel like the stories are a bit dramatic. This is true because drama is their main purpose. However, when you are getting ready to settle down, you look around for someone to date. Some people go a very long time without ever meeting a single person who they can call their own. This is to say that love is hard to come by and in many stories, the events although dramatic, are inspired by real life. There are many advantages of reading romance short stories. The first thing and people will agree with me is their brevity. Nobody likes to slave reading away for months. A short story will give you that equal pleasure that comes with reading, within a very short time. You will also have the opportunity to go through a variety of stories compared to taking on a huge novel which will leave you panting for a break. This is a platform where you get to learn a lot. You learn about a writers view point and their thoughts. Most importantly, you learn from the lessons that will come with an excellent read. Needless to say that romance is the leading entertainer.

You will find very many romance short stories in different subgenres. The first place to start while looking for a good story is reviews. To do it the easy way, you need to go online and, you will be amazed at the variety of stories you will find. Do not be overwhelmed. If a story sounds good to you, go ahead and try it. The following are some of the romance stories that you will find very interesting to read. My sweet Loretta, The beach party, Take my hand, Butterfly smiles and the list goes on. It is pretty exciting how to the stories will captivate and keep you yearning for more. There are thousands of stories to read and, you will not run out of good ones. Enjoy every step of the way.

How To Embrace Romance Poetry http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/how-to-embrace-romance-poetry.html http://www.articletrader.com/entertainment/poetry/how-to-embrace-romance-poetry.html Wed, 15 Apr 2009 01:37:44 -0500
After that brief overview of romance poetry, you need to understand that you’re most important audience is your spouse. This can also be the person you are in a romantic relationship with. For this reason, you are better placed. You know what they like and what they do not like. You can come up with something very personal or customized just for them in regard to poetry. Romance is a sure builder of all relationships and, you need to be in a position where you are ready and willing to please your mate. The main problem that people find when it comes to lack of romance is the unwillingness to give. I'm talking about giving romance or giving love. It is this act of giving that is able to revitalize your relationship. Therefore, if you want to think poetry, you have to change your mind and attitude. Be a willing giver. This way, you do not have to wait for them to do something for you; you simply take the initiative of loving them.

Romance poetry will not only help your spouse love you better but, it will also make you feel lovable. Loving yourself is necessary before you love another person. Romance poetry while mature will translate to great changes in your relationship. Since you feel better about each other, you will be in a position to romance better further improving intimacy. You will be inspired to find ways of improving your sex life and it can all start with poetry. If you are the kind of macho man who does not believe in the power of poetry, you will have to suffer the consequences of a dry love life. Otherwise, you must believe in the power of poetry for things to be better in your relationship. Most people are lay men and nobody expects you to be a career poet. Breath and feel poetry and the rest will be clear to you.

In the Eulogy

Memorial poetry is a powerful medium of expression and often communicates our thoughts and feelings better than our own words. As such, using poetry in the eulogy can be a most fulfilling and moving experience. While writing a memory poem yourself is always a meaningful endeavor, there are many memory poems available that can accurately and appropriately express the particular message you're trying to communicate-whether it be one of sorrow, remembrance, or hope. A few examples of appropriate funeral poems include: All Is Well by Henry Scott Holland, Farewell by Emily Dickinson, No Longer Mourn for Me by William Shakespeare, or Psalm 23: The Lord is My Shepherd.

On Acknowledgement Cards

Often the best way to express your deepest gratitude for those close friends and family members who stood by your side during this difficult time is to send acknowledgement cards. While, of course, a personally written message is a meaningful gesture, it's also common to include a poem. This poem can be a thank you, a memorial poem pertaining to the loss of your loved one, or a general poem about life and death. Whichever you chose, using a poem graciously expresses your sentiments for their love and support. Below is an example of a general poem you might include:

Poem of Life

Life is but a stopping place,

A pause in what's to be,

A resting place along the road,

To sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,

Different paths along the way,

We all were meant to learn some things,

But never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,

Far greater than we know.

For some the journey's quicker,

For some the journey's slow.

And when the journey finally ends,

We'll claim a great reward,

And find an everlasting peace,

Together with the Lord.

Poetry Inscriptions

After someone passes away, friends and family often want a consistent reminder of the wonderful influence and life of their loved one. Since visiting a gravesite or final resting place everyday is improbable, a small token of the deceased's life is a meaningful and practical solution. This is often achieved through an inscription on a particular keepsake or memento. Whether it's a custom figurine, plaque, or personal item of the deceased's, an in memory of" poem is a fitting supplement. Since the lengths of inscriptions are contingent upon the size of the object, the in memory of" poem you choose should reflect the space available. The most suitable poems likely consist of short phrases and few stanzas. A couplet or quatrain is most common, for instance. The following is an untitled piece by Molly Fumia:

The season of mourning,

like spring, summer,

fall and winter,

will also pass.

Memorial Bookmarks

Often friends, family, and colleagues of the departed also appreciate a small keepsake or memento. A popular and practical item is the memorial bookmark. Consequently, the medium of a bookmark is conducive to longer prose that expresses experience and feeling in wonderful poetic detail. Despite whether your loved one was an avid reader, a memorial bookmark will hold the place of his of her memory for years to come.
