The brand of a business can also be defined as the name, sign or symbol as well as design of a business, in many cases it is in fact a combination of all of these aspects. The branding of your business is important for the fact it is what is used by people as a means of recognizing your business. A prime example of a highly renowned form of branding comes with the Nike Corporation. The Nike brand name is known on a worldwide scale as people indentify the name and logo, regardless of whether they have actually ever brought any products from them. This is the sort of effect any business can hope for when it comes to branding, so with this in mind it is defiantly worth giving it a go where your advertising methods are concerned. So what else can branding do for your business, other than making it highly recognizable?

Visual branding of a business delivers the message of your business clearly, confirms your credibility and connects your target prospects in an emotional manner, on top of this it also motivates the buyer and concretes user loyalty. With this in mind it is also important to remember that the concept of branding is not about getting your target market to choose you over the competition but rather it is about getting people to see your business as the only one that provides a solution to the problem that they have. Choosing and advertising agency who are experts in visual branding are worth their weight in gold.

Building up a brand is something that should be incorporated into your advertising methods. Every time you place an advert it should always contain your businesses visual branding. The more you get your branding out there the more it will become associated with your business, at the end of the day that is what branding is all about. It is about being recognized for the products and services that your business has to offer.

When a business has built up a recognized and respectable brand it goes without saying that more people will want to do business with you. People will want to become part of this brand and get involved with what your business has to offer. It is due to aspects such as this as to why so many businesses want to incorporate visual branding into the advertising campaigns that they carry out.

Visual branding is what will help your business be remembered by people who have the potential to go on to become potential consumers. It is these people that you will want to be aiming your branding as well as advertising towards. So whatever advertising campaign you have in place, my advice to you is leave some room to come up with a great visual branding for your business.

How To Get A Creative Brand Design http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/how-to-get-a-creative-brand-design.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/how-to-get-a-creative-brand-design.html Thu, 23 Jul 2009 01:45:31 -0500
What you should look for in a creative brand design?

• A strong connection to your product or service- Your brand design is the first impression that consumers will have of your product or service. It should creatively portray your business, products, and services accurately. All aspects of your brand design should be a reflection of your business and focus on the customer's experience first, which includes packaging, logos, and overall design.

• A strong emotional connection to your target audience- Your brand design should focus on your consumer first. A great brand design is nice, but if it doesn't connect with your consumer it's all for naught. Remember that your brand design must elicit an emotional response which will in turn result in your product or service being chosen. Your creative brand design must be compelling.

• Honesty- When it comes to consumers, honesty is definitely the best policy. Your brand is often identified as a public promise and when that promise is broken or not met it can result in public mistrust. Even worse, a dishonest brand design can lead to loss of consumer confidence, which equals loss of business. Make sure your brand design exhibits integrity.

• Perception of added value and benefits- You must demonstrate your uniqueness and the value your product or service offers in your brand design. In some cases this can be demonstrated in simple words, but other times more researched and measured steps must be taken to convey this message, such as testimonials and reports.

• Transparency-The simpler the better holds true when it comes to your brand design. If you are too technical or hard to understand you risk losing your target audience and alienating the public as a whole. You only have a few seconds to make a first impression and even less than that to be understood, so make the most of your time and keep it simple.

A creative brand is an invaluable marketing tool and contributor to the success of your business.

Vegetarian Fajitas - Meat Missed No More http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/vegetarian-fajitas-a%80-meat-missed-no-more.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/vegetarian-fajitas-a%80-meat-missed-no-more.html Thu, 23 Jul 2009 01:40:59 -0500
The vegetarian fajita recipes use ingredients like mushrooms, bell peppers, tofu, potatoes, zucchini, sweet potato, black beans and many more. The meat is substituted with any combination of the above mentioned ingredients and then used for filling in tortillas making mouth watering, sumptuous and very genuine tasting fajitas. These fajitas taste as good as or even better than those made with steak. The vegetables are grilled and served hot for those who would prefer to make their own filling combination while the wrapped ones are also available. The grilled vegetables add a smoky flavor to fajitas that is its characteristic feature.

Black Beans Fajita

This is a very simple fajita recipe that can be tried by anybody. Cooked black beans, corn, salsa, green onions and red bell peppers are stirred in a skillet until the pepper and onions are tender. This mixture of beans and veggies are served wrapped in warm and tender corn tortillas and served along with salsa. Thus the procedure is easy and the time required for cooking very less. The seasoning can be adjusted according to requirements and rest assured - your guests will not miss the chicken.

Mushroom Fajita

This recipe uses mushrooms which have been cooked in water to which oil, salt and garlic have been added. Red pepper and onions are cooked for about three minutes and cooked mushrooms and garlic are added to this mixture. The flavors are enhanced further by addition of jalapeno peppers and cilantro. The mixture is spooned into the center of the tortillas which are folded and topped with sour cream and chopped jalapenos. The dish can be served with lemon wedges and lime salsa. The fajitas can be served in nacho style where in the filled tortillas are cut into bite sized pieces and garnished with cheddar cheese.

The vegetarian fajitas are easy to cook and healthier than their meaty counterparts. The variety of fajita recipes that are available for making them without the meat are plenty and with a little bit of imagination you can come up with different combinations that can tickle your taste buds to no end. This Mexican food is fast becoming popular due to the freedom of innovation and creativity that can be experimented with and thoroughly enjoyed. No, certainly not! The meat is not needed any more where fajita recipes are concerned and the vegetarians can enjoy and relish them too.

Why is Corporate Branding Important? http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/why-is-corporate-branding-important.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/why-is-corporate-branding-important.html Wed, 22 Jul 2009 22:10:49 -0500
Today's business world is competitive and saturated. Standing out and being noticed is almost impossible without having a brand, especially a corporate brand. Branding in general is important to any business and having a corporate brand can mean the difference between getting lost in the crowd or rising above the competition.

Branding demonstrates the value and benefits that your company or product offers and what experience consumers can expect by using your products. Corporate branding is important because corporations are often viewed as offering stability, trust, and value; as a result offering a marked increase in positive consumer perception. Corporate branding is extremely useful to smaller businesses that are less known and have smaller budgets. Working with a large corporation offers instant name recognition and public awareness.

Corporate branding should be part of a larger overall brand marketing strategy. Its effectiveness should be measured within brand management, and its goals and results closely monitored and tailored to fit changing company needs. Corporate branding is often carried out through the use of advertising and marketing, but can also be applied to physical retail outlets and even the internet.

Corporate branding should be:

• Used effectively-Corporate branding should be used to enhance the image of your business. It should add to your perceived value and overall quality, if it does not do this it should not be used. Corporate branding may not be appropriate for every product and can result in economic loss and a tainted public image if it is not closely monitored or abused.

• Attention Grabbing & Memorable-Your brand message should be attractive and easily remembered. Logos, advertisements, slogans, and other marketing materials are important to ensuring that your brand remains at the forefront of consumer's minds.

• Simple- Consumers are busy and don't have time to decipher difficult or hard to understand brand designs. Consumers value simplicity and easy to understand information, they won't spend a lot of time attempting to understand what you have to offer if it isn't simple.

• Consistent-Your corporate brand strategy should be consistent across every medium of marketing and advertising you use. Your target audience should be able to easily and readily identify your brand strategy no matter what the product is or how you advertise it.

Personal Branding is Keeping Your Religion and Loving It http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/personal-branding-is-keeping-your-religion-and-loving-it.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/personal-branding-is-keeping-your-religion-and-loving-it.html Mon, 20 Jul 2009 21:45:34 -0500
It means that you have to truly believe in your business, as well as have conviction in what you can do to attract clients and prospects to your product and services. In a way, you are trying to create a ‘cult' to your type of brand.

This is especially true in this day and age when you have to make your business stand out in your field. It's not enough that your target clients get to know you in your printed catalogs along with your competition; what matters is for you to be distinct and conspicuous that people are buying from you every time.

This means getting yourself out there in the marketplace by using different ways to advertise. You can have promotional products, excellent customer service, ingenious gimmicks, and marketing campaigns such as catalog printing. The bottom line is to display your qualities as a cut above the rest so that people will be attracted to your reputation, enough for them to be persuaded to purchase your product or service.

However, you have to remember that not all reputations are good. Often, many businesses mistake notoriety as a means to be recognized. It does not matter if the impression is bad; as long as people are talking about you then it is a good marketing gimmick.

On the contrary, it is extremely important for you to display your excellence and create a great impression to your target market. As your brand is often the lifeblood of your business, it is therefore important that you provide your target market with an excellent impression. The values you espouse are what get people to purchase from you, not just once but over and over again. Clever gimmicks may allow you to get a reputation; but be wary that they do not give your company a bad name instead.

People generally like to feel that they get their money's worth every time they part with it. In addition, the way for them to have that is to for you to look after them, appreciate the sales they give you, and treat them as a special member of your company instead of just a number in your database. If you give them excellent service and top caliber care, you will surely get them to go back every time they will need your product or service. Aside from themselves, they will also get their relatives, loved ones, friends and acquaintances to try you out.

Giggidy Advertising Branding Strategy, and Branding in Massachusetts http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/giggidy-advertising-branding-strategy-and-branding-in-massachusetts.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/giggidy-advertising-branding-strategy-and-branding-in-massachusetts.html Mon, 20 Jul 2009 13:54:37 -0500 What marketers are starting to discover is that the target universe is smaller than originally thought. So small, in fact, that 4% of a brand's consumer base is driving most of the business. This deeper dive into audience targeting is what I call the 4% Factor. Simply stated, it is another level down from the typical 80/20 rule of prioritizing (80% drive, 20% of the business) because, well, everything is getting smaller.
The 4% Factor goes well beyond a loyalty strategy -- it is a penetration strategy -- designed as a competitive approach to protecting and growing your business. Simply put, start smaller to get bigger faster. It also tends to be a much more sustainable approach than traditional strategies of casting a really wide net, going through trial and then hoping to retain a percentage of new customers.
If you want to grow a business or product line that can react and adapt more quickly to future opportunities, consider these specific steps:
• Find: Discover and define your main source of volume, margin or advocacy by tapping into existing customer data. Combine that with outside resources such as enhancement data (information that can be appended to consumer profiles to shed additional insight about their demographics, psychographics and potential purchase behaviors) and details gathered via social media and other research tools.
• Filter: Sift through the data and intelligence by segmenting, profiling and using predictive modeling to develop a pool of target segments and markets.
• Magnify: Examine, select and prioritize the top three to five target groups. Test and refine through methods, such those found at iModerate, a company with research technologies that allow moderators of online conversations to dig deeper and go beyond the standard questions to gather detailed insights, as well as other primary interactions.
• Expand: Build out the selected communities via holistic communications strategies ranging from broadcast to social media in order to establish dialogue and grow the universe of new entrants and new advocates.
Today, brands are built by communities of like-minded individuals who share their brand experiences with others and those with whom they have some connection. Pinpoint those communities -- or markets of business opportunity -- and find creative ways to get them to help recruit your next customers.
This concept might not sound new, but this way of thinking used to be categorized with "below the line" strategies. It needs to become "above the line" to enable social media, mobile marketing, proximity marketing and other one-to-one approaches to be viewed as critical to brand and business building, as broadcast and print used to be. Call it a reordering and rethinking of the marketing-tool hierarchy. That is what I would call a smarter and faster way to grow, particularly in these economic times.

Door Knocking: Hand Shake and a Howdy http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/door-knocking-hand-shake-and-a-howdy.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/door-knocking-hand-shake-and-a-howdy.html Fri, 17 Jul 2009 11:36:25 -0500
Make sure to plan a route in your surrounding neighborhoods that will allow you to see the most people over a weekend, or two.

Who's Doing the Walking

The candidate should be the one to make the rounds. This is the personal touch that you need to project. Unless there is something that physically prevents you from walking, your face should show up at the door steps. This puts a face with a name. This shows that you are willing to put in the time to seek approval (votes) from potential voters.

If you can't hit the streets, send family members. These people are close to you and share a connection and passion for what you are trying to accomplish by being elected. Make sure the representatives are well-prepped and have a clear plan when meeting with voters.

Don't Show Up Empty-handed

There are a few things you will want to bring with you when you make your rounds. You don't want to leave potential voters with nothing to remember you by. Your handout should be an informational piece such as a brochure, palm card or post card. A good presentation would be a clear plastic literature bag with a brochure and a useful "goody"-notepad, pen, magnet, button, etc.

Another good option is a door hanger. This piece incorporates a palm card and business card into one item. If nobody answers the door, leave this on their door knob.

Leave with a Sense of Accomplishment

Your ending hand shake should leave you feeling like you accomplished something by meeting with each voter. This could mean you added a yard sign location. Or, you successfully fielded important issue questions from the voter. At a minimum, the household knows who you are and what you stand for. The voter should be able to contact you if they have questions or if they want to learn more about you.

It would do no good if you left and they immediately forgot who they had just spoken with. Make your meeting count. Spend the needed time with each person to make your mark.

Stickers Bumped in Favor of Magnets http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/stickers-bumped-in-favor-of-magnets.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/stickers-bumped-in-favor-of-magnets.html Fri, 17 Jul 2009 11:34:55 -0500
Today, political candidates, schools and other organizations are moving to the bumper magnets. Bumper magnets are non-offensive to vehicles, leave no residue, and can be removed and replaced at will. Vehicle owners are much more likely to support a cause on their vehicle if they know the integrity of the vehicle will not be damaged.
The cost of a bumper magnet is a little higher than a vinyl decal. However, the cost is generally lower than a static cling, which would be used in a similar fashion, but on the inside of car windows. The issue with placing a cling in the interior of a window is that, nowadays, most vehicles have tinted windows, thus rendering the static cling useless in many cases.

Bumper magnets can also be made easily into full-sized door magnets up to 18″x24". In addition to the campaign signs, bumper magnets are a great political tool. They are good for parades and in-town driving, as large vinyl decals tend to get pricey.

Quick tips:
-Apply magnets to clean, dry surfaces
-Remove magnets when going through a car wash or power washing a vehicle
-Remove magnets when driving on highways and interstates - these are typically rated up to 55 mph
-Apply to a smooth surface, avoid placing over molding, rivets and curves on a vehicle
-Occasionally wash under the magnet
-Periodically move the magnet to a different location on the car to avoid any chance of discoloration

If you are looking for an affordable alternative to an adhesive sticker, go with the bumper magnet. You'll enjoy the versatility and your car will appreciate it too.

The Basics of Label Printing http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/the-basics-of-label-printing.html http://www.articletrader.com/business/branding/the-basics-of-label-printing.html Thu, 16 Jul 2009 20:43:39 -0500
Therefore, you need to put sufficient time and energy into designing and printing your labels. Custom label printing can be more complicated than it looks, with choices of materials, coatings and glues, as well as design and color choices. Here are some key things you should know before you get started:

1. You can search for label printers online and get bids from many printers to compare and get the best price.

2. You do not need to worry about finding the right paper or material for your labels. Label printing companies should have all the different types of material you could want.

3. If you only need a small number of labels printed, you can use digital label printing.

4. You can even do your own label printing on a laser or inkjet printer, although they will not look quite as professional as the ones that are printed by a professional printer.

If you have an idea of what you want your label to look like, here are some resources and ideas to help you get started:

Look online for printers that print labels often. Many have different sizes of labels and will list their prices for these sizes on their Web sites. LabelLab.com has an easy step-by-step ordering process and a good FAQ page for people who are new to label printing. Blue Ribbon Tag & Label Corp. (www.blueribbonlabel.com) has a great page that explains pre/post production runs, label design and other label printing services.

Choose the label material that best works for your product. If you have a food product or other kind of short-term product that needs a label, you may want to laminate them to protect the ink. Film product labels, generally called BOPP, do work best if intended for packages that get wet, like bath gels. You can also get your label stamped with gold or silver foil for a fancy splash of color with many types of label material. Ask your printer for details.

Choose a label size and shape that complements your product. Obviously, the bigger the product is, the bigger label should be used. The most common label shapes are rectangle, square, oval and circle. You can get custom-shaped labels printed for extra costs. Again, checking this out on various printer Web sites is your best bet.

Get your colors tested. Run a small test batch of labels on the material you intend to use to check the color printing. Many printers use traditional four-color CMYK printing processes that combine cyan, magenta, yellow and black to make all colors.

Newer digital printers are capable of mixing seven colors for a truer color. Either way, ask for a printed proof of your product label before paying for a full print run. Ask if you can run a small batch so that you can see any color variation that is bound to happen. The variation should not be bad - just a shade lighter or darker is normal.

Know more about the label printing technologies used by businesses for their marketing and advertising campaigns.
