How did you get the idea of a comprehensive CLEP test preparation website?

When I was a college student preparing for CLEP exams, I found all of the preparation methods for the CLEP tests to be frustrating, ineffective, or boring. Due to the frustration with the available methods, I decided to invest in and develop a comprehensive CLEP test preparation website after graduation.

When you were preparing for CLEP exams, what did you find frustrating with available CLEP preparation methods?

To properly answer this question, I have to discuss the different CLEP preparation methods individually. When I studied the common CLEP books and subject textbooks, I felt overwhelmed with the material and it was difficult to stay motivated. Also, it was difficult to gauge when I had enough knowledge to be successful on the actual CLEP test.

There was one website that provided the information I needed to pass the CLEP exams, but there were many errors within the study system. When I pointed out the errors in their CLEP prep system, they simply responded the author of the course was no longer on staff and they did not know the material well enough.

Another popular method using CDs and study guides cost several hundred dollars and was cost prohibitive on my budget. Although I did not personally use this system, it had poor reviews online.

So, in a nutshell, the expense, volume of material, or lack of customer service is what I found frustrating about the CLEP preparation methods that were available to me.
