Literature review is an integral part of writing a thesis so if its faulty then the whole thesis would be sent down the drain. Thus, you cannot ignore the fact that it is a literature review in dissertation which holds every component in one hand.

There is nothing out of this world in writing a picture perfect literature analysis, all it requires is extensive research work from the side of a writer. This article will be putting forth a roadmap of conducting this part in a step by step fashion. Go through the following informational text and see how much it makes a difference to your thesis.

1-Development and identification of a problem
2-Collecting the pertinent data
3-Evaluating the data collected
4-Interpreting and analyzing the data
5-Presenting it in front of public

I know the above told steps look very much familiar to that of primary research conducting method but as a matter of fact, it is not.

Development and identification of a problem:

You are done with the type of review selection, now its time to formulate a problem. Here, a writer will determine the problem and derive an explicit criteria to draw an inclusion or exclusion. The problem should be driven by the focus and goal of review.

Collecting the pertinent data:

Data collection is a part of garnering pertinent material on the subject of your discussion which might include exhaustive, representative, semi exhaustive or polar set of articles. The organization of data collected may differ from primary to secondary data. It is recommended that the data collection procedure mentioned is provided with such details that other researcher if conducting the same research with same procedure may find the same set of articles.

Evaluating the data collected:

At this stage, a reviewer may only evaluate the data from collected material which exactly matches the inclusion criteria. There must be a system devised to pull out the data from articles. Extraction should solely depend on the focus and goal of your thesis project.

Interpreting and analyzing the data:

Once all the tasks are performed, now its time to make sense of what you have extracted from the articles. Again it depends on what is a goal or objective of your project. For instance, if the goal is to integrate, then you should start integrating the extracted data at once. After this stage, you may decide if you want to use qualitative, quantitative or mix method synthesis depending on the type of data you have extracted.

Presenting it in front of public:

At this point in time, a reader has to decide which information should be presented to the public and which can be left out. There are many ways to organize it including historical, conceptual or methodological organization.

Therefore, you can find many sample literature review for dissertation that you can have for your assistance downloaded from internet or you can check out the preceding roadmap to come up with a worthwhile review.
