Why Students Should Wear Uniform To School?

Uniforms are a way to make sure that each student is at a level of standard, it is a norm in a lot of countries. In America, most private schools have uniforms as well. School uniforms have become a hot topic of discussion and debate between parents and administrators. Many parents have expressed concerns about school uniform taking away students' freedom of expression and encroaching on their personal rights.

In my opinion, I think students should wear uniform to schools, let's take a look at some of the reasons why students should wear uniform to school.

a) School uniforms save children and their parents of time consuming, troublesome idea of picking out a set of clothes every day. During the rushing morning hours before school, pick out the ideal set of clothes, especially for the girls, can spend a lot of time.

b) School uniforms make everything easier and simple for the school authorities to recognize students belonging to their school.

c) School uniforms also save the students from discussing who has a better sense of fashion trends; it's unfair for poor students. When they don't have to spend time discussing what to wear and how to wear like a fashionista, they can devote more time to learn in schools.

d) School uniforms also save parents a lot of money as they don't have to buy casual clothes for every day plus weekends, sports and club activities. The constant demand for new clothes can be very stressful for parents.

e) School uniforms can instill sense of discipline. The uniform is an attire of high standing one, seen as being the complete visual of discipline.

f) School uniforms promote more safety in school, outsiders are easily identifiable, and this naturally reduces incidents of violence. Students come to school without worrying about personal safety.

With all the advantages of wearing school uniforms, I can conclude that students should wear uniforms to comply with rules and equality. Students wearing a uniform all their educational years will go without saying, just like wearing formal wear, tie and jacket to offices.
