Additional Two Steps to Make Yourself Fundamentally Unstoppable

Submitted by SuccessClinic

Here are the additional two steps to make yourself fundamentally unstoppable.

Step 3. List your Why-Not-To's of getting what you want.

Step 4. Determine if your Why-To's of getting what you want outweigh your Why-Not-To's of getting what you want, and act accordingly.

When you are weighing your Why-To's against your Why-Not-To's, you need to keep something in mind that the traditional success teachers never told you:

You have Why-To's of getting what you want, but you also have Why-Not-To's of getting what you want.

What does that mean? Simple. You have reasons why you want to get what you want – naturally. Those are the Benefits or Pleasure you imagine you'll feel from getting what you want.

But did you ever stop to think that you also have Why-Not-To's of going after the things you want? What does that mean? It simply means that you have Pain or Cost associated with going after what you want.

Let's take our new car example. You've listed all the Pleasure or Benefit you'll get from your new car. But what are some of the Cost or Pain associated with actually having a new car?

· I'll have to pay more insurance
· My car payment will be higher
· I'll be worried about parking it
· What if I can't afford the payments?
· What if someone dings my new car?… etc.

Can you see that while having a new car certainly brings Benefit/Pleasure to your life, it also has Cost/Pain associated with it?

So the question is: will you get that new car or not?

The answer is: if you have more Why-To's than Why-Not-To's associated with getting it, you will. If you don't, you won't. Simple as that.

On the night of October 20, 1997, a 30-year-old religious studies major named Noah St. John had an epiphany that changed his life. While attending a seminar, he suddenly realized the real, hidden reason so many smart, talented, motivated people stop themselves from success – and saw it had nothing to do with goal-setting, "motivation" or anything being taught in traditional success literature. That very night, with no formal education in business, Noah decided to form a company to teach people around the world the simple steps that remove the hidden barriers to success.
