"Keep doing what you are doing and you will keep getting what you have been getting." - Albert Einstein

Success should be something you do not just want to achieve, but something you MUST achieve. Generally, successful people are driven by a ‘have-to' rather than ‘want-to' attitude.

In an industry where you own your own business, it is not only imperative to have the right mindset; you also need to be prepared to leave the comfort zone. What is the comfort zone? As the phrase implies, it is that part of your life that is familiar -- an environment, even an established lifestyle, in which you feel comfortable and secure. Some people may be satisfied with a 9 to 5 or even 9 to 9 existence, but for those who want time freedom, getting out of the comfort zone is needed to achieve this freedom.

To prepare to get out of your comfort zone you must first feel deep down that you have to. After this acceptance and willingness, do something that initially makes you nervous or frightened. When you see that you can accomplish this task without a loss, then you will be less hesitant to take the next small step, and then the next. Your comfort zone is now expanding and when it is coupled with success each time, you will never want to stop.

Most people will not leave their comfort zone until a life-changing event occurs that forces them to step out. Losing one's job or escalating and accumulating monthly rent payments and bills are scary, but they may also be seen as blessings in disguise. They force us to leave our comfort zone and search for better opportunities, especially when we have financial obligations to meet and little or no income to pay for them. Life-changing events give us the self-motivation to change our lives, but let us not be complacent and wait for these unfortunate incidents to happen before we feel the need to seek a more fulfilling and successful life.

It will be difficult to take the step out of our comfort zone, but in the long run, you will have much more freedom and happiness because of it.

Go for the change and discover what life has to offer you!
