Do you have a daily routine that works for you today? When I reflect on the day’s accomplishments each evening, the intention of the day becomes as clear as the sky an hour after a summer thunderstorm. Hindsight is very often 20-20. There are days I spend on my business activity with few things productive to show. FOCUS can guide us to serving our purpose in the home office.

Let’s look at FOCUS as an acronym that shows 5 critical ingredients an enlightened entrepreneur strives to attain to create a recipe of success.

1. Focus on Fundamentals. Mastering the fundamentals in any endeavor will assist you to excel in whatever business you desire to do. Becoming a master of your energy, space, time, voice and emotions will give you the edge over any business that has little soul, for yours will become an enterprise with soul, heart, magnetism. No matter where you are in your path of success, you can begin to master yourself. You can develop skills that will allow your authentic Self & Service to come through with each person you come in contact with in your business.

2. Do the Obvious. Take action on those things that can move you forward now. Become an interpreter of inspired versus impulsive action. When we rely on our intuition and a knowing that something is right to act on, that usually indicates we are on the right track. When we feel an immediate need to do something at someone else’s request or feel pressured or stressed to do something, it would be wise to take time for reflection before making the decision to act. There are even times when procrastination can work to our advantage if impulse is in charge. Other and possibly better solutions can show up to act on that become obvious once we take a moment to think.

3. Commit and connect. From the moment you decided to start your own business, how deep was your commitment to it? As you move forward and see some results that are in fact what you desire, your commitment grows, doesn’t it? And, what about those days when there is more month than money and you aren’t sure whether this one too is going to go the way of businesses that fail? Well, when you commit to what gives you the oomph to move forward, more oomph is given to you, even without the proof. What you may find is that your inner workings rise up to the occasion and you find skills you never knew you had. The ability to flex your entrepreneurial muscle rarely raises its head before you commit to follow through and connect with yourself and what you really want in life. When you can connect with the true values that are yours, you will be able to connect with others in a way that is phenomenal.

4. Utilize what is available. All of us have the same amount of time in a day – 24 hours. Each of us has unique desires, talents, resources, and there are an abundance of them. There are universal laws that can assist us also. We can draw on them without any cost but awareness. Look into things with an open mind, use what works for you, and leave the rest for someone else. Make sound use of resources, waste nothing; ask and it is given, then use everything that is given to the fullest.

5. Simplify to function optimally. The Law of Clarity states: The clarity of our mind and thoughts is in direct proportion to the physical clutter in our lives. Take a look around you. De-clutter and you will know that it is a real possibility for you to further your aspirations a little at a time. Identify just one thing that you intend to do each day that will give you a feeling of relief, of accomplishment, of empowerment.

On your road to fulfillment in your entrepreneurial calling, you can have it all and enjoy each moment of the journey...
