You may look at the results you have gotten so far, it will tell you that after battling for so long, the efforts you have putted in have paid off in today's results. If you do not have any results to look upon, then look ahead. Stay positive and build upon the things you need to do to achieve the outcome you are aiming for.

As mentioned earlier, a strong compelling reason could be a strong motivation for you. With no bridge behind, only marching ahead and a nothing to lose attitude can be a big motivation for you on the back.
