Calculated Failure - Motivational Speaker (NNOS Studios of Ohio)

Why is it that 85 percent of lottery winners are in the same or worse position that they were in, within 3 years of their winning? Why is it that soon after you get a raise, you are back in the same spot you were in before the raise? Coincidence? Never. Destiny.

There is a mechanism in the brain responsible for keeping us at our current level of success. It will consistantly return us to its setting, whether we go below or above that point. It is called the PSYCHO-CYBERNETIC MECHANISM(PCM). It job is to maintain the set of instructions that it is receiving, that our beliefs recognize as "safe". Not safe like, "it's safer to have a million bucks than to not have money" but like, "we've been traveling this path so often and for so long, that it's obviously safe." The body likes comfort zones and the PCM will try to keep us there.

How? Chemicals. As soon as we leave our programmed comfort zones, the PCM kicks in, and chemicals are released into the body that cause doubt, fear, and anxiety. Think of this: when you're getting ready to cross the road and you suddenly see a car flying over the hill, fear of getting hit draws you back to the side. The PCM kicked in by reflecting on the embedded belief that if you get hit, it's...well, it's not a good thing, so it shot this chemical into your body that successfully kept you from crossing.

Now think of this: you have an embedded belief that you will never have a lot of money, or that money comes very hard. After all, you're only making $30,000 per year. The moment you are presented with literature that is contrary to that, such as advice or strategies to build wealth, your super faithful PCM goes off, sending you the juice, and keeping you from going into foreign territory. "That's just a scam. There's no way I could ever do that. It's too big of a risk." And yet again, the outer noise drowns out the inner song.

But that's only PCM dose, level one. If you get inspired to somehow go beyond that, look out...because the PCM is only getting warmed up. The only way you can ever win, is by resetting what the PCM recognizes as safe. Your conditioning - your beliefs and habits. This is changed by changing your immediate environment. It takes long. A few months of consistant focus. Oh, and you can't fail. If you do you have to start again. The "don't give up" part comes in from the beginning until the time you have successfully changed the setting.

It is summed up like this: you'll only win when you manage to reset the PCM, and you can only reset it by COMMITING yourself to your goal. Being somewhat interested will only waste your time. Your neurology won't change from just interest.

To create the new belief, determine what you want it to be. Is it that you have a monthly income of a million dollars? Then focus on that with all your feeling and emotion. Take time to do it every morning as soon as you get up. Do it several times throughout the day, and again at night before falling asleep. Do this for many weeks without failing. You must find a way to outdo your own negative influence on yourself. If you can do this, you have mastered success.
