The Digital Dream Board: Visualize Success!

Submitted by coachlenz@beachbodycoach.com

We all learn about goals. We know we ought to have long term, medium term, and short term goals. Even daily goals (or To-Do lists). But when I saw of making a dream board, things started coming to life for me.

Usually individuals make these with cardboard and magazines, sequins and glue. But I sought after something that I could always have with me, and this meant digital. It also meant I could grab any pictures, any text, and make it right away then with no trouble alter it.

Tools:

* PowerPoint 2007 or any software that can do images, like Paint.
* Yahoo/Google image search
* Your imagination

Steps:

1. Jot down everything you can imagine that you want to realize, even in your wildest dreams. It doesn't matter if you have a special plan right now to get there. Just put it down.
2. Get on google and look for images that strike a tune with you and agree with your goals. Don't just grab any image. Make certain it's something you really want.
3. Position those images on your empty page. Add text, quotes, notes, tips, etc; whatever works for you. These are highly customizable.
4. If you used PowerPoint 2007, you can now click File, Save As… and select image. A JPG works best for activities like this. Remember where you put it!

You can now either print the file, save it as an image file, send it to friends, put a copy on your mirror/tv/door, whatever. This is for you. Every time you are struggling to workout, struggling to go to work, not wanting to put the effort needed in because something is on TV and you just don't want to, take a good look at your dream board. Think of why you put what you did on it!! Stop being a pansy and go make your dreams a reality!!!
