The Power of “NOW” Through Positive Intention

Submitted by k_mcgregor

If we live in the intention of the past or future we find it hard to grow in our meditation exercises, that being:

Past intention is usually that of anger. Anger about things that have happened to us in the past which allows our intention, or attention, to be held in the past so we cannot break free.

Future intention is that of worry. We worry if we are going to be good enough, if we are going to make other people happy or if we are going to find love. This stops us from finding our way there.

In spiritual development, when we follow a downloadable meditation, or any meditation, we are being within the moment. We are breathing, visualising and connecting with the intention of the “now”, this moment, this breath, this life.

When we are in this place in this life of the moment, we can find out more about who we are so that we can help ourselves to grow and learn. We have given ourselves time to empower who we are now so that we can let go of worry and anger and we can move forward in our lives by moving from now to now, step by step. The smaller the steps we take, usually the stronger our foundation. The more we learn from our lives. The more we understand will help us to deal with each situation easier in our lives.

Within this life we know that there will be suffering. We know there will be challenges, but if we are equipped with understanding that we must not worry about them, or be angry how we got into this situation, we learn that we will grow through the situation and manage the situation much better, much quicker and easier.

So life will always throw us a curve ball. There will always be challenges. It is about how being in the intention of now, a positive powerful intention will help us bounce back out of that place into a place of knowing and understanding of who we are. Not who we were, or who we will be, but who we are!

“Right here right now” intention of good. Being alive in the moment.

Using this idea, this formula of positive intention, we can create our dreams by living in our moment.
