The sudden increase in the demand for registered nurses, certified nurse assistants, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants led to the increase in number of students who want to pursue a Nursing School Degree.

Nursing is commonly defined as the science and art of promoting life. It is a very humble profession; a nurse's primary responsibility is to assist people, families, and communities to maintain good health conditions and/or recover from illnesses.

Nursing Schools are the stepping-stones of students who have that desire to help other people in distress. The curriculum followed by Nursing Schools varies worldwide, but they usually include extensive research, study of nursing theory, and clinical skills training. After finishing the general nursing studies, a nursing student needs to pass an exam to be regarded as a Registered Nurse.
A Registered Nurse can further specialize as a Clinical nurse, a Clinical Specialist, a Nurse Practitioner, a Nurse Anesthetist, or a Nurse Midwife, provided that he/she passed the advanced-level quaternary education Degree, Masters of Science in Nursing. This graduate-level Degree focuses in advanced nursing specialties and techniques, which involve acute care, palliative care, pediatric, psychiatric, among others. Masters of Science in Nursing Degree graduates may also choose to specialize in Psychiatric and mental health, learning disabilities nursing, pediatric nursing, geriatric nursing, or home-health nursing. They can also choose to specialize in Nursing Research.

After earning several Nursing School Degrees, one can choose to work in clinics and hospitals (as most nurses do), in schools (as an educator), or in non-hospital settings such as companies, schools, military branches, churches or local communities.
