Applying Face Creams Properly

Submitted by tima

Face creams and anti-wrinkle creams provide sun protection to your delicate facial skin and keeps it young and fresh. Most of us can apply a face cream without feeling the need for any guidance. There are however various ways in which this can be done.
What follows is information gleaned from face cream reviews over the internet.
Every facial ointment and lotion contains a host of ingredients including chemicals. This necessitates following simple rules often contained in product brochures. It is worth the effort to skin through the text and find out the ‘no’s’ and the ‘don’ts.’
Our eyes do not accommodate many foreign substances, and face creams fall under that category. Some products however are made specially for the region around the eye as well. Stay away from the eyes area when applying any general cream or lotion.
The amount to be applied is normally regulated by our common sense. We apply as much as we feel necessary. Do however give a thought to the price you paid and the total quantity of the cream left. Apply only as much as is felt necessary. Over application may not yield better results.
Using fingers and hands is the easiest way to apply face creams and lotions, and most of us do that. If the hands are clean, especially after taking a bath, it need not matter much. Otherwise, your hands can transfer a good amount of dirt to the bottle. You may try using a spatula to take the cream out of the bottle.
The easiest thing to do is to use upward circular motions for rubbing the lotion, avoiding the eyes and, some say, the upper lids.
You may have a dry or an oily skin, and this may necessitate using an appropriate quantity and way of application. Massaging can be done either for a short time or longer depending on the skin type. For specific details you may refer to the product brochure.
