Givenchy Perfume-Classy and Elegant

Givenchy (also pronounced as gee-von-shee) was one of the youngest fashion designers in the world born on 1927, Beauvais, France. At the age of 25 he founded his own company called house of Givenchy in 1952 and established the empire through out the world. The Givenchy organization sells perfumes, cosmetics, and many accessories. His first design was done for Jacques Fath in 1945. In 1946 he also designed for Lucien Lelong, in association with Pierre Balmain and Christian Dior. From 1947 to 1951 Givenchy started to work with Elsa Schiaparelli. Givenchy is a famous line of perfume, cosmetics and clothing. Many of the Hollywood stars wore clothes designed by Givenchy. Some of them are Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy etc. Audrey Hepburn wore designs of Givenchy in most of her movie. Givenchy dedicated his first perfume to Audrey Hepburn in 1957 by the name of L'Interdit and the same year Le De Givenchy for women was also launched.

He made lot of fragrances in association with Bertrand Duchaufour, Paul Leger, Dominique Ropion, Olivier Cresp, Jean-Pierre Bethouart, Emilie Coppermann, Pierre Wargnye, Jean-Claude Delville, Annick Menardo, Anne Flipo, Sophie Labbe, and Daniel Hoffmann, llias Ermenidis, Christine Nagel, Hubert Givenchy, Paul Leger, and Daniel Moliere etc. Le De Givenchy for women introduced in 1957 which is dedicated to Audrey Hepburn has woody musk floral aroma. The middle note of this perfume includes lilac, jasmine, orrisroot, lily, rose, ylang-ylang and carnation. The base note consists of musk, amber, guava wood, oak moss and sandalwood. The top note comprises of orange, coriander, bergamot, rosewood and tarragon. The fragrance of this perfume is totally traditional and conventional, as described by the ladies. In 1959 Monsieur de Givenchy was launched for men. It has a citrus fragrance.

For men Givenchy introduced Givenchy Gentleman in 1974 which recommended as day time wear. This fragrance basically fit for the office. Top note of Gentleman for men includes Tarragon, Cinnamon and middle note consists of Patchouli, Vetiver. Like that he gave lot of fragrances to the world.
