For plus size women, finding affordable, stylish plus size evening wear can be a pain. Instead of fashionable frocks you may find dowdy dresses, tent-like muumuu's, or basics that scream "old." What can you do if you want to look stylish and enhance your curvy figure? Well, luckily designers and merchants are starting to realize that full figured women want to look great, and the newest styles in plus size evening wear reflect this trend.

Flat boots have long been a leader in women's casual boots. Even when stilettos are so popular, flats still have a place in footwear. Flat boots can typically be worn for longer periods of time with less strain than their high-heeled counterparts. For a sleek boot, that's casual in look as much as it is in price. These kinds of boots are often made of suede and can provide ultimate comfort with an accessory such as an extra cushioned insole.

Brown is appearing on the scene as one of the hottest colors in style this year, there is a beautiful wrap style shirt dress available online with a cute dress-shirt style collar made out of a linen/cotton blend. If you're into the renaissance time period there are a plethora of cotton dresses with elaborate embroidery done up in the medieval style in all sorts of colors available with wide straps or cap sleeves that will make any woman feel like a princess.

Metallics are taking over this summer, although these shoes come in both silver and black (for those of us not yet willing to take the Martian plunge). With an original suede-tip finish and a faux bow, these shoes offer up a snug fit without sacrificing style.

Space

Whether your space is small or large, you can still create the look you want. If your room is large, try creating several sitting areas. Perhaps a love seat and a sofa along with comfortable chairs and ottomans will help to do the trick. An old farm bench with pillows from different fabrics adds a beautiful touch creating an inviting spot to sit and think. A small desk or secretary will also create an interesting area for note writing.

Skirts and dresses

Whatever the season, choosing the right skirt or dress is flattering on the female body. Comfortable and fashionable, you can choose from corduroy, denim, silk and twill skirts as well as intricately designed and embellished variety of casual summer dresses.

Feel The Difference: Texture is In

This season it is all about prints and textures. Buy a new sport coat in one of fall's newest textures like herringbone, tweed, or hammerhead. Under the jacket wear a dark merino wool fine-gauge polo sweater and add a dark dress pant and dress shoes to finish off the ensemble. If you wear suits and sport coats and ties everyday, you will enjoy dressing more business casual if your work environment allows you to do so. These are great dress down looks that allow you to express your more business casual side. Adapt these five looks for fall and look modernly chic as you arrive at the office in style.
