Men's Wrist Watches; Most popular brands

Submitted by kishor

Men\'s watches like any other type of fashion or style accessory have top brands that people want to own by all means necessary. Mens wrist watches are not only a trademark of success and style; most men simply value these fine watches not just for telling the time but for the sheer beauty, craftsmanship, and aesthetic value of the watch. Some men also collect these wristwatches not because they want to show off to anyone who cares to look at their wrists but because they love the look and feel of these watches (not to mention that these timepieces are a great investment).

The most popular brands of fine watches are:

The undeniable Rolex – This watch is the most searched wristwatch on the internet. Anyone who wishes to acquire a Rolex would have to exercise a lot of caution because this watch is perhaps the most counterfeited watch in the world. Ignore any street peddler that offers to sell you a "genuine" Rolex watch: – three words "fake or stolen."

TAG Heuer – Brad Pitt is also a spokesperson for TAG Heuer (no wonder it was voted as one of the five most popular brands of men\'s wrist watches on the internet). TAG Heuer is a trusted brand, known for its accurate time keeping services for prestigious sporting events like the formula 1 automobile racing sport.

Seiko – The name of this watch manufacturing company was actually adopted in 1924 but was founded 43 years earlier (1881). In 1977 the Seiko Quartz LC Chronograph was featured in a James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me". In 1979 The Seiko LCD digital wristwatch was worn by Roger Moore who played the infamous character "James Bond" in the James Bond movie "Moonraker." In 1981

The Seiko Quartz analog digital alarm Chronograph wrist watch was used by James Bond in "For Your Eyes Only" and in "Octopussy" (1983) James Bond wore a Seiko Sports 100 LCD and Seiko TV watch with an LCD screen.

Tissot – This brand name is one of the leading brands in the Swatch Group. Tissot was founded in 1885 in the cradle of the Swiss watch manufacturing industry known as Le Locle.

Citizen – This brand is known and trusted for delivering exceptional quality combined with remarkable advancements in the time keeping business. It was founded in 1918 as the Shokosha Watch Research Institute.

Omega - Everyone knows that the word "Omega" is synonymous with accomplishments and perfection. The Omega brand has been in existence for over 150 years. Famous men who adorn these wonderful timepieces include; Michael Schumacher, Sergio Garcia and even Lawrence of Arabia (T.E. Shaw) wore this great timepiece.

Other top brands that are simply adored by men are:

Bulova

Movado

Invicta

Cartier

Casio

Jaeger LeCoultre

Dior

Patek Philippe

Raymond Weil

Vacheron & Constantin

Logines

Bell and Ross etc.

In addition to the names above there are of course, other new and upcoming brands of designer watches that look great on a man\'s wrist whilst also being very affordable.

Most popular brands of men\'s watches are successful because of the effect they have on most people due to the sheer beauty, art and craftsmanship of these fine watches. There are also top designer watches that look good on any man.
