Printing Shirts Concepts

Submitted by galaxywd

We can create your own custom clothing with absolutely no sewing skills. Just decorate t-shirts, canvas bags, and other fabric items with iron-on transfers that you design yourself and print from your desktop. We can see there are kits available that give you everything you need, including software and a t-shirt, or you can assemble your own materials. Whichever route you go, here's what you'll need for the typical iron-on style of transfer: Software, Artwork, and Transfer paper, Printer, Iron or heat transfer press, hard surface if using an iron, Pillowcase or other fabric if using an iron, T-shirt or other item to receive transfer.

We have warm weather upon us; you can hear the t-shirt printing presses humming, as they crank out loads of t-shirts for sports tournaments, company barbecues, and your favorite corner bar. Shirts and t shirts have become a universal symbol of good times and brand awareness worldwide. Responsibility of printing of those t-shirts should not be taken lightly. As when your t-shirt printing project comes off poorly, you put your brand in a bad light.

As following some simple steps, you can save yourself lots of heartache and dollars. The Screen printing is the best technique for serious jobs. Whenever you are doing one-off shirts, heat transfer paper is fine and it's great for working out your design ideas, too. Whenever the time comes to do a big run of shirts, you'll likely go the screen printing route. Always leave plenty of time for your t-shirts to be printed and find out the drop dead date for delivery of the printed t-shirts, then, add in a week's worth of cushion and work the schedule backwards. Try to limit the number of colors in your design. Just put the more colors you print on a t-shirt, the higher the cost for each shirt and cutting down on the number of colors can save you a considerable amount of money.

Always create the artwork in a vector drawing program. We want to do your computer design work in a vector drawing program, such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel-DRAW, or Macromedia Freehand. Try not use a paint program such as Photoshop or Paint-Shop-Pro. In general speaking, the stencils need to be cut from lines, rather than pixels. Try to have a design pro handle the prep work. We may have designed a killer logo. Simply now you need to make sure that it will print properly and economically. Whenever you are working with a good t-shirt printer, you should be able to hand off your design and have them take care of all of the technical details. Merely you should also know that they may very well charge you for that service.
