Shawls and How I Wear Them!

Whenever my mother saw me donning a shawl in summer, she would reprimand me and inform me how shawls are meant to be just winter wear. This was years ago when I was a teenager; and today my mother is crazy about shawls. She wears them right around the year and I confess that I played a major role in this.

Once my mother found out that wearing shawls is not just about keeping warm in winter, she went on a buying spree. I was really happy because finally my mother had started take interest in my profession. I am a fashion expert and spend hours advising other people on how and what they should wear to look good without spending too much.

I may forget to wear my wedding ring, but I will never step out of the house without my shawls! This is what a close friend told me quite recently. I know it sounds clichéd but for many of us this is a reality, a fact of life.

Shawls are very important to any outfit. They enhance a dull looking outfit and make it more attractive and appealing. Shawls are fashion accessories that no woman can live without. Imagine a simple piece of cloth made from wool, cotton or cashmere that can spice up your appearance. It has to be a shawl because nothing else can work miracles like that.

My favorite shawls are Pashmina and cashmere. They are light, come in a variety of colors, can be worn in winter or summer and their sheer elegance cannot be ignored. Of course I also own shawls made from other fabrics but the versatility and beauty offered by Pashmina and cashmere shawls cannot be duplicated.

The bottom line is that shawls are no longer just accessories. They are a vital part of any woman\'s wardrobe and the sheer elegance they offer make them all the more sought after even though they are just simple pieces of fabric.
