Strategies adopted while buying a tuxedo

If a man has an athletic or muscular body, he will look best in a tuxedo jacket with a slim shawl collar. Men with broad shoulders and muscular frames look best in shawl collar tuxedos or double breasted jackets. Men with short, smaller frame can try single breasted jacket with long lines, a low button stance which elongates the body, and wide peak lapels.

Buying a tux would be the best option. If the tux is in your closet, you can be ready for formal event in no time. Rentals generally cost 10 to 30 percent the cost of a new tuxedo. This is not a viable option. Buying would be the best option if you meet the following qualifications:

1. If you are wearing a tux more than once in a year, the best thing would be to buy one. Tux is mostly worn during cruise ship dinners, occasional weddings and Black-tie fundraisers and galas.

2. Buy a tuxedo only if you see yourself staying at the same size you are now. But if your weight fluctuates, it is not a feasible option.

3. Classic Tuxedo will generally look good if kept in proper condition. But if you are fashion conscious person who changes with the trend, renting would be the best option. Only if you have extra money, buy a tux because it may look outdated in a few years.

If a person wishes to buy a classic tuxedo, then the best color would be dark black or navy blue color. An individual should first decide the style and type of formal wear and then buy a tuxedo. White formal wear are stylish but everyone can't carry it properly. People with tight budget can buy a midnight blue color. Designer brand tuxedos are costly.

Always buy a tuxedo based on the social occasion. A regular formal wear is not acceptable in wedding. Regular tuxedos can be worn in formal occasions, parties and at night outs. Buy a tuxedo along with accessories like tie, cufflinks, cummerbund and vest.

A person can buy a tuxedo from a store or order online. If you're buying online then write down exactly measurements on the order page. Otherwise you may face problem. On their website have a look at the different types of formal wear, select and then buy based on your choice. Make payments through credit cards and within few hours, the company will dispatch the tuxedo to the person's residence.
Caring for your formalwear properly is very important. You should clean your tux after every use, even if it doesn't look dirty. White tuxedo shirts can create stains if they aren't cleansed properly. Find a drycleaner who can clean your formalwear properly. Ask them to starch and press it properly.

After cleaning, store your tux properly for long life. Place the outfit in garment bag and hang it in the corner of your closet. A tuxedo can be stored safely for years, but you should take it out and wear it every now and then.
