Tips For Plus Size Maternity JeansSubmitted by elmgator
Pregnant moms who become plus sized, love maternity jeans, as they do not want to miss out on the comfort of denim, while their abdomen is expanding for the developing baby. You will find that till about the fourth month or the second trimester, regular plus size jeans can be worn.
Denim is known for its flexible material; how it gives either warmth in winter or fits cooler in the summer. It is reputed as a 'maternity fashion staple' type of jean that can be both casual and fit for dressier occasions. Denim also allows for a wide range of styles. If you were a fan of low-rise jeans, they offer them in maternity sizes as well. Rugged maternity jeans for around-the-house occasions or work pants and eve lunch with the girls are easy to find in darker shades to suit your taste. It is better to be well versed with the terms that are used by maternity jeans manufacturers, if you are planning to buy one. Manufacturers make maternity jeans in various shades, styles and fits, so the more you know about the jeans, the better your chances are of finding a pair (or pairs) that suit you well. The rule of thumb is to look for the size you wore before you became pregnant. Maternity denim jeans are made to either fit over the developing bump, to fit under it or to fit where your natural waist was before. An 'under the bump' pair of jeans is constructed with a jersey panel that is made up of a supportive band of wide but comfortable elastic that, as the name states, fits under the bump of your growing abdomen. This type of jean is best for expectant mothers who are in the first trimmest of their pregnancy. On the other hand, a fully elasticized waistband is one that fits above the bump of your abdomen. Some women prefer this type of jean while others do not. Ever heard of jersey basque? Jersey basque is a specially designed garment in which stretchable jersey cloth is stitched on the inner side of the garment. This elastic material is not visible from outside. It is a very good option during pregnancy. The garment expands as your abdomen size increases. Pregnant women find jersey basque very comfortable and can wear them throughout the nine-month period. Side panels in jeans are a good choice for expecting mothers. They will fit you when you grow sideways as well as in front. These side panels are just like jersey panels and contain elastic so that they can expand with you as you grow. Many women, however, prefer the comfort of drawstring pants. These pants contain elastic in the back, but have a drawstring that can be tightened to fit the pants precisely to the woman. The drawstring can be a comfortable choice to last the entirety of the pregnancy as they can be loosened as the women grows. About the Author
