Flat Panel TV: Versatility and Elegance

A slim sized TV with a level display screen characterizes the new versions of large screen TV. They are known as Flat Panel TVs. This means that you can see yourself in the glass just like with a CRT TV. All LCD TVs are glare proof. This is a great advantage when the room lighting conditions are not in the ideal levels.

Plasma TVs use more power as compared to LCD TVs, but the end result is richer colors and the black pixels display deeper black color. The LCD TVs are slimmer and have gained more color quality in recent years. The ultimate judge is the customer who will choose which Flat Panel TV set type can best serve his viewing pleasure and be within his financial capability.

Flat Panel TVs are the latest craze in the TV industry. Its strength relies on its inherent ability to be able to create a sharper image using the new digital broadcast format which will be the standard format com February of 2008. A sharper image requires more information about the object being displayed per pixel. This means the larger the viewing screen of the TV set, the more information is needed to be broadcasted to supply all the needed data for most Flat Panel TVs.

Most big business companies prefer Flat Panel TVs because they can save office space, have lesser power consumption and the flexibility of being able to place them anywhere. They can basically install the TVs on a wall and broadcast their company ads easily whether it is in the company window display or outside the building.
