Singing on a karaoke is one of the most popular forms of entertainment in the Philippines. Many entertainment establishments in the Philippines has their own versions of karaoke machines, such as those found in gaming centers, bars, night clubs, and in karaoke establishments. A Magic Mic is a generic term used to describe karaoke microphones that have embedded songs and require an external video display. This configuration makes them light and portable. Some of the most popular brands of Magic Mic in the Philippines is extreme magic sing and WOW magic sing. However, before the introduction of these brands of Magic Mic, there had been a brand of Magic Mic which is known to have introduced its first kind into the market. This is the Magic Sing by Enter Tech.

Enter Tech, a Korean company, was the first manufacturer to release a portable karaoke microphone in 2000 called Magic Sing. The latest Magic Sing microphone is the ET-18000 which was released in 2007 and is completely wireless. ET-18000 also has SD card slot to accommodate picture customized background from the user.

Other than in Korea, Enter Tech have also introduced the Magic Sing in the global market, particularly in the Philippines in which majority of the market enjoys singing on a karaoke machine. Enter Tech entered a deal with In-A-Jiffy Printing to finance its brand in the Philippine market. Eventually, In-A-Jiffy Printing changed to In-A-Jiffy Enterprise (IAJE) and rebranded the Magic Sing into a much more recognized name in the market, the WOW Magic Sing.

In the Philippines, Magic Sing is used to promote tourism by showcasing tourism spots as picture background. Department of Tourism and Wow Magic Sing agreed to cooperate in this endeavor to take advantage of the portability of the device to advocate awareness to tourism. Because of the popularity of the Wow Magic Sing, several other manufacturers have followed its footsteps. One is extreme magic sing which is considered as one of the most popular brands of Magic Mic in the Philippines.

Little is still known with extreme magic sing other than it was founded in 1990 by The Astra Group. Extreme magic sing is promoted by young singer/actress Sarah Geronimo and the number 1 pound per pound king Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao.
