Motorola For The First Quarter Of 2009Submitted by Christine Layug Thu, 5 Nov 2009
Motorola is one of the top mobile phone manufacturers that has, yet again, released a number of mobile phones for the 2009 market. Some of these have received critical recognitions while some fell short in the specs. But moreover, Motorola have had a great year in 2009 through their new line ups of mobile phones. These mobile phones are categorized through which quarter it was released. According to Cellular Motorola Philippine phone enthusiasts, the first quarter includes Motorola Tundra, Motorola Surf, Motorola Stature, and the Motorola Renew.
Motorola Tundra A very formidable mobile phone by Motorola, this model of mobile phones is known for its sturdiness. For a clamshell mobile phone, the Motorola Tundra or VA76r offers a very sturdy design, easy-to-use controls, and a brilliant display. But what makes it more popular is its call quality. The bad is that Motorola Tundra VA76r suffers from poor photo quality and variable streaming video. It has a 2-megapixel camera with four resolutions to choose from (from 1,600x1,200 down to 320x240). Motorola Surf The MOTOSURF A3100 is a multimedia smartphone designed and marketed by Motorola. The phone is based on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1. The MOTOSURF A3100 functions as a camera phone, a portable media player, a GPS navigator, and an Internet client (with text messaging, email, web browsing, and local Wi-Fi connectivity). However, according to Cellular Motorola Philippine phone enthusiasts, inconsistencies in the user interface, its weight, lack in high-resolution display, and trackball could be better. Motorola Stature Similar to Motorola V3x, the Motorola Stature is known for its sleek design that imposes sophistication and luxury. It also possesses brilliant displays, useful features, and good call quality. The only drawback of this mobile phone is its controls and keypad, which is too flat (mainly due to its sleeker features) and too stiff. The camera is rather slow and photo quality is just average. The bottom line, the world have yet again gazed at one of the sexiest mobile phone around. Motorola Renew An entry for the Green market, the Motorola Renew or the W233 is the world's first mobile phone made using post-consumer recycled plastic; in this case plastics comprising of recycled water bottles. Announced at CES on January 6, 2009, its plastic housing is also 100 percent recyclable. In terms of its features however, the W233 is much less exciting. It's an entry-level dual-band GSM phone, with a 128 x 128 pixel color display, a WAP browser, and support for 2GB of addition memory. According to Cellular Motorola Philippine phone enthusiasts, the only really impressive thing to note is the amazing battery life: talk time is up to 550 minutes and standby is up to 18 days.
