Quest Horse Wormer Year Pack this is a year programme with each complete years worming programme for one horse. Each year pack contains 2 syringes of EQUEST and 2 syringes of EQUEST PRAMOX.

It is suggested that a single dose of EQUEST PRAMOX (moxidectin and praziquantel ) is used in the spring and autumn, when tapeworm control is also recommended; and a single dose of EQUEST(moxidectin) in the summer and winter. Just one single Horse Wormer dose is required once a season for year-round worm control. So a year pack offers a year's worm control for one horse, or treats two horses for half a year.

Equimax Horse Wormer contains not one, but two anthelmintic compounds, ivermectin and praziquantel. Ivermectin is highly effective against roundworms and bots.Praziquantel is highly effective against tapeworms. Due to the combination of anthelmintics, Equimax is effective against all major nematodes (including many immature stages), 3 species of tapeworms and oral and gastric stages of bots.

Horse WormerEquimax does treat the lumen dwelling immature stages of the small red worm. However it does not treat the encysted stages that may be present in the gut mucosa over the winter. Equimax should definitely be used at least twice a year (spring and autumn) to treat tapeworms. Equimax or Eraquell (ivermectin) can also be used every 8-10 weeks for routine worming against roundworms and bots.
